Was it similiar glove to the one found near the road or did they have DNA from the perp in the house?

The statement I saw was very confusing and buggered the English language.
They have unknown DNA in the house.
[Not from a glove; no gloves were found in the house.]
The glove that was found was a couple of miles down the road and looked similar to the one worn by the masked man in the video footage.

Nothing was stolen that I heard of, but she could have encountered him just as he got inside, before he had a chance to act. Was she still up, maybe?

I do not believe he planned to kidnap her but felt he had to to avoid getting caught. If he was an incompetent burglar, he was no longer thinking rationally, just about self preservation. He probably thought on the fly what to do with her, and dropped her somewhere in very short order..
Old people always get up during the night to use the bathroom. They also sleep odd hours, sometimes just get up during the night for a bit. She could have encountered the burglar, attempted to react, fell, unconscious or traumatic brain injury. The force that causes a concussion can frequently lead to a nosebleed, which could explain blood found. Lots of ideas. Agree a body would be soon dumped.

LE knows a lot more than you think and a lot more than they let on. I am not arguing about their due diligence. But their capabilities are more than you give them credit for. They will solve this case and have it wrapped up in a tight bow for you.

I stand by what i said about the ransom but that’s just my opinion.
I never said that I doubted LE’s abilities! I am 100% confident that it will be solved, however it may take more time that some people think. I agree with your viewpoint 100%, apologies if I come across as argumentative!
My opinion only.

I agree! I imagine SG is pondering if her Mom's global visibility from being a guest on her show may have something to do with this. Speaking of which, I wonder who's idea if was to showcase NG on SG's morning shows. Would the employer have come up with the idea? Of course, to the employer, it's all about ratings. IMO television personalities exhibiting older folks to the general public is as risky as letting them get to know your children on camera.
MOO
After this tragedy, high-profile celebrities will likely shield their private lives and loved ones from the public eye even more. It feels strange how relentlessly we're all racing to keep up with rapid technological changes. My heart goes out to the Guthrie family, especially SG. I hope she never blames herself for what happened.

Pima County Sheriff Nanos tells me his understanding is that the DNA from that glove found near Nancy Guthrie’s home was submitted to the FBI CODIS database this morning.

The company BlueFly has issued us this statement on their “signal sniffer” work in the Guthrie case regarding her pacemaker: “At the beginning of February, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department requested our support, and we immediately began deployment of BlueFly® units and personnel to Arizona to assist with the search for Nancy Guthrie. BlueFly® is a Bluetooth and Wi-Fi sensor intended for search and rescue operations in challenging environments. The technology has been used on a variety of air and ground vehicles, and on foot in austere terrain. It provides first responders with a heat map to identity signals within a search area. BlueFly® was used on Feb. 3 during the Pima County Sheriff’s Department Search and Rescue helicopter search over the Guthrie neighborhood. The technology was subsequently used for additional search operations by helicopter, ground vehicles, and on foot. Due to the sensitivity of the investigation, we will not provide additional details on ongoing operations.

Agree, there are very realistic silicone masks. This one has eyeliner, lashes and has hooded eyes.

Darn! This mask is truly realistic. Perhaps the perp was wearing one similar under his balaclava.

Are you going on the premise that he still has her? I am not. I believe that he abandoned her within several minutes to a few hours after taking her. I base this on the disorganized nature of the crime itself.
Unfortunately, I agree with you. He didn't keep her long because she was such a liability to him. She's likely somewhere within the vast desert of Tucson.

This case will set a precedent for sure!
I do wonder how much accountability SG's employer needs to be held responsible for if this case relates back to them insisting NG coming on the show for ratings. There was a clip posted (and I'll search for it to post) where NG walked onto set, and SG looked completely shocked her mother was there. This is the sort of thing I'm wondering about. MOO

If that's what happened I don't believe a random burglar would have taken an injured homeowner out of the house. There is no reason to do that and I don't believe I've ever heard of a burglar doing that. IMO

A burner phone needs wifi or data to interact with ",The other person". If just recording how are they interacting with each other at that exact time?
Walkie talkies. Look at picture of lantana mans right coat pocket. Looks like a walkie talkie antenna sticking out.

I don't know anything about how this field operates (and to be clear this is not intended as a criticism of working with that particular lab), but it's kind of wild to me that there isn't some provision for weekend work when what's at stake is potentially finding a kidnapping victim, where not just days or hours, but minutes count IMHO...
Curious as well. Does the FBI have weekend/night lab shifts?

Ok I think I see what you are seeing. Could this be the “day” we get answers. 🤞Just MHO
I tried to look and figure this out but I am so lost 😅

Please listen to what LE IS NOT SAYING! They are not telling the community to lock their door..homicidal perp on the loose. Poses a risk to Tucson etc. NOPE! They already KNOW it was targeted and are operating on the assumption this was a celebrity stalker. JMO

Exactly. I don’t want to judge. But please just send the money
SG, .SEND THE MONEY..This cloak and dagger, Instagram, click bait, video strategy is losing it's luster and credibility. MONEY TALKS. You still don't know who the perp is and what you are dealing with. Your stalker might be well barricaded and dug in. IF the ransom writer has info, take the gamble for your mom's life.
We don't know that she hasn't paid it, do we?

It's not serial. It's targeted. It is a male, delusional, lovesick, celebrity stalker of SG. He watches her daily. he thinks everything she says has a hidden meaning between the 2 of them that is cementing the fact that she loves him too. He hungrily scans all media, looking for mention of SG's name..THUS the TMZ (entertainment based outfit). That's why the TMZ ransom emails. He probably has a little area in his home dedicated to her..A poster, some magazines etc. He maybe is emotionally docile. A deep-thinking, loner and suffering from lack of self esteem and unable to have a real life encounter with a woman in his peer group. Possibly lives with his MOM and deeply enmeshed with her. He has been suppressing his fixation on SG for sometime and can no longer do so. He's an SG stalker. That's been my opinion from the first day and I am sticking to it! JMO..MOO
… if he was not noticed by SG, he lives in her mind now … that may be all he wanted ... but at what point does that change to "here am I" ... driving the point home?

Law enforcement is working with a device known as a “signal sniffer” that uses an amplifier to find Bluetooth signals and identify the unique MAC [Media Access Control] address of Guthrie’s pacemaker using a directional antenna.

“It’s got software running in it, continuously scans, and if it doesn’t recognize (hers), it just eliminates it until it locks onto the right one,” said Morgan Wright, CEO and founder of the National Center for Open and Unsolved Cases.

Wright, who also analyzes true crime cases on Substack, said the process is similar to walking around with Guthrie’s cellphone and waiting for a Bluetooth connection request but on a much larger scale
How long have they been doing this? I wish this had just been done on day 1 or 2. Way too much time has passed - imo.
