I agree.

For all the public comments that have said otherwise, this seems like a professional kidnapping to me. Except for one thing. They got her and left minimal evidence. The only thing they haven't done is provide a verifiable ransom demand with proof of life.
It could also have started in Mexico. He/they came here, abducted her and went back to Mexico? Not easy to show proof of life if she isn't alive. Assuming she's on blood thinners and I think she is, even an elbow to her nose as they jostled her to take her away can cause COPIOUS bleeding that is hard to quell. A fall can theoretically cause extreme internal bleeding. No Mexican medicine can cure that. She would need a hospital. Still looking for ransom, anyway. I don't think she's in Mexico.

Those Instagram messages from SG's family to the perp make me doubt this was a cartel or drug or political kidnaping. The fact the brother and sister are absent from the last couple of videos makes me think it's not a grudge or revenge or military thing like a former pilot from the national guard who served with the brother. This is a targeted kidnaping by someone who wants the attention from SG. Stalker? Groupie type that has gone rogue? Jealous colleague or acquaintance? Best angle here is examine the motive. I do not think he was bungling. I think he was pretty damn effective. JMO MOO

MOO I think they are tailing, watching and testing his DNA as he follows our posts.
Creepy to think that the suspect could be following our posts!

I sure hope so, would hate for it to be the start of the fall off of media attention. I'm sure I'm overthinking that though
Could be either one.
I'm just hoping it's the calm before the storm because the other is too grim. Time will tell.

On that report that claimed someone searched Nancy Guthrie’s name prior to her abduction.

At 1:47, CP says investigators told him that he googled NG or her number… which does sort of explain the nexus between him having delivered a package to her (which he thought was a possibility) or something in the weeks prior… if he had searched her address to make the delivery, he may have sent up some red flags. No clue if that’s what actually happened, though.

So I think they’re definitely tracking down leads to that end, but I agree speculation about Google Trends activity is relatively pointless based on how it actually operates and displays data.

I live in Houston, where most of our crime is derived from the drugs the cartels supply. In fact, my little brother was murdered by a gang that sold drugs for cartels while he was playing video games at a friends house. Don't know why they chose to do a home invasion on that particular house, but they did. So yes, cartel drugs and the violence that they generate is a daily reality for many border state residents.

I still believe this could be a cartel-related kidnapping for ransom, but I also believe this could be a burglary gone wrong. Or it could be any other number of things. The only thing I'm truly sure about is that this crime is BIZARRE and that we should all feel free to post our theories as long as they don't violate TOS.

Oh, @MAHBOOBOO, how awful! I’m so sorry you lost your little brother in such a dreadful way.

If they take nothing of hers with them they don’t have to be concerned with losing track of something (and revealing themselves as the kidnappers).

The most obvious motive is kidnapping for ransom. I think there was another note again yesterday, demanding money. If it was a stalker gone rogue, surely he would have not asked for ransom, but instead sent a public message to Savannah about his obsession for her or something? Occam's razor says this was kidnapping for ransom but NG died early on and that messed up the kidnappers' plans. They are still hoping they can get some cash (ransom) for their efforts. MOO.
Edit: If something is paid out, maybe they will point LE at where the body is buried.

Two notes from someone claiming to have NG, and four (that we know of) from someone offering to provide the identities and perhaps location of the kidnappers. Yesterday’s was one of the latter.

EDIT: I was wrong. Yesterday’s note claimed to be from the kidnapper.

I mean maybe they just didn't know she needed medication at the time of the abduction
I agree. They were apparently there to abduct their target, not to find and pack her meds. Depending on the age, they might not even be aware that a lot of people take or require daily meds. JMO.

IMO this is not cartel related. If it is, someone in her immediate family is most likely involved in a cartel in some way. I live in Tucson and I grew up in Nogales and most of my immediate family live there/Rio Rico. Although I grew up with people involved in dealing drugs and weapons I have never been afraid of being attacked by cartel. Maybe it’s from growing up on the border and spending a lot of time in mx in my teens and young adult years but I don’t believe they are a huge threat to people not involved. I know there have been innocent people killed but that is rare. I do know of instances where innocent people have been shot by being caught in the crossfire at restaurants. All that to say- I don’t believe cartel would target someone who was in no way associated through family, work, etc.

I don’t think a kidnapper, especially male would give a toss about medication

Kidnap for ransom makes no sense to me, I still think it’s some psychotic man who wanted to abduct someone and has probably built up to this by breaking into other homes. I am also still super suspicious of one of the guys that has been on our radar here, I hope he has been looked at.

I thought yesterday’s was claiming to be from the kidnapper again, from the amount that they’re asking for being ~$6 million in crypto, and them directly threatening to harm NG in the new message, rather than just saying time is crucial in saving her, like the “snitch” messages did.

This sounds like a PR/legal department response to alleviate public concerns and/or criticisms over the ease and speed with which Google spits out what many folks perceive (naively) to be private information. Even if it is public information, it doesn't necessarily mean Google has an implicit or explicit right to publish and make it available to anyone who searches for it on their platform. I imagine that might need to be determined, particularly if making the information readily available could've contributed to a crime. Governments are protected if they make information like that available to anyone - businesses may or may not be.

The Google searches of NG and SG, if from the same source and especially considering their dates and proximities to the crime, aren't likely coincidences.

JMO.

That's my understanding as well from everything we saw yesterday.

Cartel problems are real but it's exactly as you described. The whole border/cartel claims anytime something happens here gets ridiculous (however in this case perps fleeing to mexico IMO could be real).

Good point, Slim!

The searching seems quite coincidental to me, any way you slice it.
