Argumentum ad auctoritatem.

Acknowledging the difficulty the family is facing is not the same as giving them sound advice. Advising someone not to pay a ransom when statistics suggest that 90% of paid ransoms result in returned victims is foolish at best and derelict at worst.

JMO.
I don't think you listened to what he said. Sorry I posted that link and got you so angry. I'm moving on.

I fear she is in the duct work or whatever that is called with the heating and cooling system or in the planter. I can't take it, no way are they not looking for a body now. Please let my feeling be wrong
I’m wondering if that’s true, putting a body up on the roof would be very hard

And there were intensive searches, they were just searching the wrong area. Barbara was found by hikers iirc?
And the McStay family but that took years.

Just thinking....the police would have known if there had been any effort to clean anything in the house or in any vehicle they examined. They must know so much.

Someone posted earlier that 90% of ransoms paid to verified kidnappers result in a victim's return. Would you pay it or not pay it based on those statistics alone?

I might be in the minority, but I would if there was even the smallest chance of getting a family member of mine back alive.

You never know. If this is what they did, maybe they've got what they were waiting for and are about to make an arrest.
Fingers crossed 🤞.

Returning a person is the biggest possible risk you can take. As soon as you release her you would be caught.
The sophisticated kidnappers might not truly release the victims, but rather just provide information as to where they can be found. Maybe something like: Go to abandoned house on rural road "R" She is handcuffed to a chair.

I think, by now, someone, somewhere, has recognized the absence of a friend or family member. Or, perhaps recognized unusual/odd behavior.

Did this interesting info come from the live feed or commentary?
Live feed. On the roof, Front and Back yard. Showing searchers with flashlights other areas. 45 minutes, not an hour. No one else covered this.

No programming or techiness is required. There's a button right in Gmail and many others to schedule an email to send at a later time.

I personally kind of doubt that the email was sent from her device, but if it was, it wouldn't imply any special skills or knowledge.
you would have to get her to log you into her device...

I seriously hope that LE is on top of this.

I simply posted that in my view his advice is unwise. You seemed upset by that. It's all good though! We're all just trying to figure this out! 😊

Info from Google search: An Apple Watch cannot detect a pacemaker in a dead person, as the watch is designed to monitor human pulse and blood flow, not electronic device signals. If a person passes away, the Apple Watch will stop recording heart rate data because it can no longer detect blood flow or pulse, and it may lock itself, thinking it is no longer on a wrist.

A pacemaker can connect to a cell tower via radio frequency. Also, it can connect to an app via Bluetooth when in close range. It reports data via a handheld medical device @/or cell phone. Sitting in a medical facility, it can connect to a laptop to the extent that a technician can make your throat tickle. But IMO, the best way to prove a general vicinity and also that she is alive, is to intensely scan cell tower data. I heard there are 41 towers in the wide area

Details on Apple Devices:

“The main Apple apps to connect to a pacemaker for remote monitoring are provided by device manufacturers, primarily the
MyCareLink Heart™ app by Medtronic for Medtronic devices and the myMerlin™ app by Abbott Cardiovascular for their devices. “

These access the pacemaker data on an iPhone or iPad.

Oh yes I watched all of that I thought you were maybe referring to verbal information they had given.

It's one of Circle K's gas stations off of Oracle Rd which is at a major intersection. Likely have some footage of the interested vehicle passing by or at the stop light.
Apparently, they have also put out a request for Teslas that passed that Circle K. Video, looking for the vehicle, no word about vehicle make, model, color

IMO anything said or done that could potentially jeopardize this investigation is wrong. It is not advised. And in actuality, no information needs to or should be shared, conveyed, or ‘leaked’ that could harm or reduce the chances of an accurate, resolute, and complete investigation.

Sadly there is an individual and family and families here that are impacted by this. Directly impacted. Much more than others. It really IMO isn’t anyone’s business or right to know what things are, or are not in this investigation. Not until such time as something is or should be revealed. IANAL.

And to speculate whether or not ‘credit’ is due anyone, seems improper. Particularly at this point in this matter.

One has to believe that the investigators and authorities are doing all they can to help resolve this. MOO

Fox News is not to be posted or quoted here in Websleuths.
Oh ok. You don't happen to have a link showing which sources are accepted, and which are unacceptable on Websleuths, do you? I looked but could not find. I'm sure I just overlooked it.
TIA
