Just my opinion, but it looked like the police had set up cameras on the main house roof vent stack looking into the back yard over the back door that leads into the garage; on the front corner of the guest house roof looking out at the driveway toward the street, and on the side of the guest house roof looking out toward the covered open back porch on the main home. Remember how LE turned the house back over quickly - guessing they set these cameras up and are back today recovering footage from these cameras. LE may have set a trap. Just my thoughts based on what was seen in the drone view footage.

Since we have learned of the out and out lies Fox News (the cable Fox News featuring Hannity and others) told after the 2020 presidential elections I have made the decision to not allow Fox News as a source on Websleuths.
This DOES NOT include local Fox News affiliates. They are completely separate from the Fox News on cable. In Salt Lake Fox 13 is a well respected news channel. In the U.S. you all should have local Fox News affiliates. These stations are not what I am talking about.
This has nothing to do with politics and everything to do with the shocking behavior of the CEO on down. We...

First, I am truly outraged that the media is showing (presumably) the blood splatter of an elderly woman, Have we really sunk this low as a society?

We've sunk lower than this, IMO, and long before this, unfortunately.

Advising someone not to pay a ransom when statistics suggest that 90% of paid ransoms result in returned victims is foolish at best and derelict at worst.

Yet the US government goes counter intuitive all the time with terror groups. Not only does the government refuse to pay such ransoms, but they can also discourage the families from doing so as well.

Possible reasons include: a. Encourages more kidnappings. b. The kidnappers take the payment, then demand still more money citing "new considerations". c. The kidnappers take the payment, but have already passed or sold the hostage to another group that demands more payments.

In the end, the advise to pay or not to pay could well be equally valid depending on what experts know, or suspect about the specific kidnappers.

The first couple of days LE stated NG was in need of medications prior to a specific time period; not sure if it was within 24 or 48 hours? You are correct; LE has not claimed meds are missing or left in home with everything else.

Someone posted earlier that 90% of ransoms paid to verified kidnappers result in a victim's return. Would you pay it or not pay it based on those statistics alone (if kidnapper verified he was authentic)?

It was me. 97% successfully returned worldwide when ransom is paid and with professional negotiators. 11% returned if ransom is not paid.

But, “proof of life” is a reasonable request.

If the alleged kidnappers have not provided proof of life, it is another situation.
