Yeah, definitely sounds like a plea for a body. "Celebrate" as in "celebrate her life", "only way we will have peace".
That's my thought too. Makes me think back to the two dates and Monday being consequential as reported by TMZ. I really hope I'm wrong...

Although if the family member did take Nancy home in her car it might make sense.

Nancy has car accident near daughters house, car damaged.

Nancy doesn't feel able to drive any more. Leaves car at daughters house.

Nancy gets lift home.

[All before night of kidnapping]

Night of mahjong, no car so gets Uber.

Family drives Nancy home in own car.

Maybe?

Replying to my own post to add:

This would also make sense of the short garage door time.

Family drives Nancy's car into garage. Then either hops out and leaves or leaves via front door. Nancy, arguably the slower of the two, is already inside the building.

The video is giving "please return the body so we can grieve properly" 🥲
I agree. I don’t think they would get her back if she is deceased. The body would have evidence and lead to the killers.

Wow. Some of the wording feels intentional, probably to send a specific message to the person who wrote the ransom note? Been taking it apart to see if there were any media connections but not seeing any, but getting the Silence of the Lambs vibes again (no direct quotes though, from what I can tell).

So eerie. JMO.
Really eerie, it's given me the creeps. The wording definitely seems intentional IMO, very considered and not a natural flow. Absolutely feel that they are being directed to say things in a specific way. Terribly sad 😢

Do you have 'one of those links'> I looked on her instagram and it was the older ones. Is it on anywhere else we can look? So horrible and thanks for this update. IMO

I had that thought too. That they now know she is dead and they want to simply bring her home. But the "celebrate with her" seemed to suggest she is still alive. So I concluded the family have received a threat to NG's life and are now resigned to paying whatever amount is being demanded. But then the "this is very valuable to us" is a very odd thing to say about a live person being returned :(
Agree!! But, i do not think they would pay for a dead body.

I would think that LE would have a higher standard of proof then just running with a witness'es statement to the public before it was verified then verified again.
imo
The national frenzy surrounding this case is causing misinformation... Sad

Watched without the sound. I think she's passed, they now know it, the celebration will be for her life and they want her body back to lay her to rest because it means the world to them.

That's my take on it. They are devastated and if they thought there is a chance of her being alive they would reflect that.

I am so sad and Nancy never deserved this!!

I have the opposite opinion.

IMO, can they really speak “man to man” when they’re not on an equal footing? At the moment all the power is in the hands of whomever took Nancy.

What you see as lukewarm, I see as tightly controlled rage, knowing his mother’s life is up to the kidnapper right now.

He’s career military but he’s a jet fighter pilot, not National Guard. I presume he is accustomed to being in control in dangerous situations, and to keep emotion in check so he can do his highly skilled job.

But right now, he is forced to “play nice” in order to have a mother again.

JMO

THIS!! My opinion as well.
I’d like to add that a “man to man” talk can look differently to everyone…. and the only person he needed to engage with was the perp, without offending him.... better to be cautious with one's words and delivery of.

I'm a positive person, so I believe they are wanting to celebrate with her being returned to them alive. JMO

The wording is so....unusual. There must be some covert meaning to it.
I don't know how the family keeps it together, at the same time they have to, no choice.

This is a tragic turn 😕. I took the video to mean the family would pay the ransom in return for her body so they can celebrate her life. IMO the second ransom note acknowledged they could’ve provide proof of life, but offered the body for a fee. So cruel

I was struck by the “this is very valuable to us”. Does that mean anything else on the surface? Seemed odd.

Wow. They will pay. This is crazy.
Do you all think that they're asking for their Mom's remains? The wording is odd.

I also heard that the back door of Nancy's house was left open, but now I question every lead I'm getting. Either way, reports have repeatedly mentioned that there's evidence of a forced entry. THAT ALONE should have given the local sheriff reason to keep the crime scene under wraps. YIKES! Today, the sheriff still says he's "confident" that Nancy will be found alive. Perhaps he's fighting the guilt he feels? He has to know he blew it in the first critical hours. But at this point, I want to believe him. I want to believe that Savannah and her family will have their prayers answered. Keep the faith. That's all.

There has been NO confirmation from the police that it was a forced entry

There has been NO confirmation from the police that her medical supplies were left at home.

The sheriff Nanos had confirmed this

Yes, she could still be alive

There has been NO police speaking to the media, so we know what the latest facts are about the disappearance of Nancy.
Instead, a lot is just Media speculation

If that 2nd note said that she was gone/dead. I have a hard time believing that the reporter from KOLD would do any interviews yesterday. I can't remember her name.

OR .. did they get something new since yesterday?

In regards to SGs new instagram post. First impression is that NG is dead (idk why a kidnapper would admit that since it's their only leverage).

Very confused what return our mother so she can celebrate with us means. (Is this in regards to her recent birthday)

They end it by saying "we will pay" (pay for the return of her body? or NG alive)

JMO
Anyine think its possible they were informed shes deceased and they want her body returned and are willing to pay to get body back. This video seemed more somber. Anyone??? Celebrate= celebration of life service as many religious people call a funeral

Absolutely. It’s clear they were told she’s dead, and now she’s saying they’ll pay for the body.
