This is the feature that stands out most to me. Lots of space between inner eyelid and bridge of nose. Eyes have a very distinct shape and are very wide. Lots of space between eyebrow and eyeball too. Very uncanny
IMO

They’ll probably get him.

A big part of facial recognition is eye shape and the distance between the eyes. If this guy were smart he’d have a full helmet with sun shade or something that hid the eyes.

Same with the mouth. Nice mustache, dude.

Also no attempt to wear a Tyvek suit or to disguise his weight/size and gait.

Don’t come to a 2026 kidnapping in 80’s bank heist gear.
Exactly. I'm not convinced he is a professional. May have been hired or may have planned this with another person or on their own. If he hasn't disguised his facial features, he may be recognized. His gun / holster is distinctive and may be recognizable to somebody. Same with the backpack.

His backpack was full so he had things in there that he planned to use or had in there in case he needed them. This wasn't a robbery. He didn't act as if he had anticipated a nest cam.

I'm still open to the possibiity he was hired and it's an inside job.
Sadly agree. ^^^

He'd have to know the exact location of the cameras as they were disabled/SD cards removed, and also that Nancy was being driven home after the dinner and game night.
Plus a random perp wouldn't have spent time in the house, as it doesn't look like a robbery.
Was the kidnapper looking for her will ?
Maybe Nancy was planning to change it and someone(s) disagreed.

How would this potential suspect know when dinner and the game was over and she was being driven home ?
One would think there'd be contact on the possible perp's and the mastermind's phones.
If the sheriff or the fbi would come out and say the family is cleared, people could focus on outside perps, there must be some reason they're not doing this ?
Omo.

Maybe a beard too?I see under his lips, looks dark?he also seems to be bald the way his hat fits, doesn't seem to be a full head of hair, very round looking
But not the SIL’s beard. His is too bushy and long to cram inside that mask, in my opinion.

I’ve never thought it was him but I know it’s possible if he hired someone. But I have always thought it was a stranger.

Time will tell. Finally something tangible.

Surely the chances are he’s local to narrow identifying him.
I hope the spotlight is taken away from the SIL now.

Good catch.

I might be wrong, but to me it looks like a 'mismatch' of 3 hole balaclava, gloves and jacket. It sounds planned but 'amateurish'.

It was so obvious that the FBI had more then they were actually saying.

Here's a mirror site
Thanks. Looks like he turned the holster up? Not sure. It’s a really strange place to carry a weapon. It’s a right-handed holster, tho.

Weird he covered with the flowers but had already looked directly into the camera.

He approaches the sidewalk from the yard, not the driveway. I wonder if there's a car to the left of this video.
This is what her driveway looks like. There’s a ton of places a car could park that wouldn’t be viewed by the camera

The video should make someone be able to recognize his gait. The way he looked around for something to put in front of the camera did not make me think that he was completely sure of his mission.
It also looked like “he” looked at the road for a minute as well. How did “he” get there??!! Looks like a man, but bends over like a woman.

I agree, sadly. Such a motive was nowhere close to what I originally thought, or what many of us were discussing here, until now with the removal of a major financial motive (at least to our knowledge).

It's such a sad and awful thing that this would even have to be considered.
i haven’t mentioned this b/c it seems like they/(fam & LE) would have ruled this out by now, but at this point…i don’t know….
They aren’t telling us much.

In my town around 10 years ago an elderly couple was beaten for entry into their safe then kidnapped and murdered by their long term handyman.

Surely LE isn’t withholding THAT much info?? That a safe was broken into??

Link to local news article abducted elderly couple

THEORY:
Is it possible NG had a safe with valuables (maybe a valuable collection of stamps, jewelry or watch, and cash etc all in one safe) and she was beaten until she gave up the code? Since she saw the person’s face, he or she couldn’t let NG live. She was taken so perp’s dna from the beating on NG’s body wouldn’t be found by investigators.

THEORY:
The ransom is just to distract LE and send them on a wild goose chase and/or maybe get more money from the situation. Maybe they did indeed plan the ransom all along. But never intended on returning her alive (b/c she’s not alive)
They just figured hey it’s worth a shot to get more money from the situation since SG is rich. If investigators and SG know a safe was broken into they may have pieced this theory together?

It seems like this might be a good time to up the reward. Just in case someone close to this guy knows who he is.

Post are coming in fast, so I have no idea if anyone has discussed the firearm/holster combo. Looks odd to me. Appears to be the butt of a semiautomatic handgun, but in a holster one would more commonly associate with a revolver. Especially a single action revolver. Note how the holster is rounded at the end (muzzle) and is closed. Note the profile of the holster. The wide, rounded opening ( where the trigger guard of a revolver would be, and the longer shank for the barrell. An exception to this if for a semiautomatic like a ruger 22 auto. A holster for that might look similar. The placement of the firearm in the holster does not look correct for that type holster. I shoot alt of guns and that set up looks odd. I’m going to chat got that holster to see if I can find one like it
