It’s hard to believe the bumbling-looking goon in the video left so few traces. It’s not easy to get away with a crime. Had the camera subscription been active, maybe they’d have had him sooner?

Thank you. Appreciated. I'm new to this. Just to be clear, I wasn't using AI for deliberations or presenting AI deliberations; I just asked to deblur and enhance the photo and then remove the hand. No face was shared. And I understand the limitations in that regard. Separately, I am looking for rules of membership, but I can't seem to find them. If would if you would be so kind as to send me the link. Thanks again

I have a bad feeling she is gone

Who said she entered via the garage? If she was dropped at home by her SIL why wouldn't she go through the front door? Seems a lot more trouble to open a garage door than a front door. IMO.
I know entire families who enter/exit their home almost exclusively through the garage door, for ease of entry -- keypad, or wireless opener on key fob or in car. It's a thing.

It's also the weakest point in most homes and can be easily breached or hacked and I always suggest a camera above the garage door.

The name of a detained person of interest isn't necessarily ever made public, right?

That's what we do. In and out of the garage.

When I first saw the pictures I actually thought, he/she has another pair of pants on. IMO
Yes! Looks to be different pants and shoes, too.

We will have to see whether the person in custody ends up meaning a lot or not. That used to usually mean a lot, but this lately does not mean much. We saw in recent cases all kinds of people being taken in and then released.

Or he's not badass enough to carry out anything fatal. Imo. Praying for a good outcome
With her health issues and lack of medication all this time, it would not necessarily take any action on the part of a “badass.” Regrettably.

I'm proud to be with you all tonight on this milestone as Websleuths hits its first 1,000th page.

Very hard to tell from the footage. I originally thought the black grip was a late gen poly semi auto but I'm not even sure anymore. The holster profiles more for a revolver and looks mis-matched, though plenty of wheel guns have a knob like profile grip. Doesn't necessarily narrow it down to anything rare. There is always the possibility it's a dummy gun or something weird like a pistol gripped knife or taser. We just can't tell from these captures.
what happens if you tase someone with a pacemaker? eek

No, detainment doesn’t mean the person is charged with a crime. Recall Charlie Kirk — some random guy was arrested and released and it still took a few days to find the real culprit.

I thought he looked drunk not real sloppy but been to the bar drunk. Acted on a bad idea if it was for ransom?

Imo
Nervousness.

Or that. But flower stems? Not in my playbook! lol
Pretty sure the other inmates are going to be calling him Flower Boy — or something more creative. He’ll never live that one down.
