I know entire families who enter/exit their home almost exclusively through the garage door, for ease of entry -- keypad, or wireless opener on key fob or in car. It's a thing.

It's also the weakest point in most homes and can be easily breached or hacked and I always suggest a camera above the garage door.

That's what we do. In and out of the garage.

Very hard to tell from the footage. I originally thought the black grip was a late gen poly semi auto but I'm not even sure anymore. The holster profiles more for a revolver and looks mis-matched, though plenty of wheel guns have a knob like profile grip. Doesn't necessarily narrow it down to anything rare. There is always the possibility it's a dummy gun or something weird like a pistol gripped knife or taser. We just can't tell from these captures.

another poster or a news commentator thought he tried to grab camera and couln't get a good grip on it so may have used the lantana to help grip the camera. this makes more sense but let's just hope his bulb isn't that bright
