It doesn't say when he checked on her.

It could simply be a reference to when they went to the house after Nancy's church friends got in touch.
I know it doesn’t say when he checked on her.
If he dropped her off at 10, and she was gone at 2 am, then when would he have checked in on her?
And why?

Oh ok, I see what you mean.
Well even if he didn’t check in on her after dropping her off, he was still the last to see her.
But if he checked in on her after the friends called, then he would have seen the blood and reported it right?
And whatever was in the house.
We have conflicting reporting on whether the front door was locked.

BBM...almost like 'he is absolutely not a suspect'...(wink and fingers crossed)

There's definitely been a lot of conflicting information about what the inside and outside of Nancy's home looked like when LE arrived.

I do wonder now about the state of the relationship between the daughter and SIL. And if the daughter is cooperating with LE now if there are suspicions.

Did someone say that Savannah has returned home? That would make sense if there wasn't any other urgent reason and she was made aware of the suspicion around the SIL.

I am still shocked about this development. In other cases, family often seems likely and eventuates they did the crime, but for Nancy, I just didn't see it. That could also be my mind not wanting to process that someone who knew her could actually cause her harm. Harm to older adults is always shocking but when its a family member it is up there as one of the most heinous of crimes.

Someone elderly has a lifetime of experiences, relationships, has survived probably more things than younger people realise, yet one person's actions can have the power to end it (or in this case let's hope Nancy is alive somewhere).
I didn’t expect the SIL to be involved, still hoping somehow he isn’t the prime suspect. Why would LE have waited until yesterday to take the car in as evidence? If Savannah is/was staying at her sister’s house knowing her BIL was a suspect would be creepy. When the sheriff said next update will be Thursday, he must know he will have something that will be confirmed by then regarding this case.

I can’t imagine Savannah is not contemplating getting on air herself with a plea, media segment about her mother to get the message out so other media can run with it. What a horrible position for her to be in. I suspect we may see that coming. IMO

Maybe the boyfriend/husband took off and Savannah is with her sister. It can’t be easy.

Right. I just drew my own conclusions from that. Saying “he is not a suspect” is almost tongue in cheek…
Or “Should be a suspect but we haven’t heard about him”..if you read it that way.
Or “Doesn’t it seem he should be s suspect”.
It’s just strange.

Oh, here it doesn't say he dropped her off at 10 PM.
That was from MSM.
The checking in on her would be weird having dropped her off.
Why would he have to check in on her.
Anyway, backing off until more info comes out bc someone like Banfield could have found that article and is also making conclusions for clicks and views.
I would think the SIL would have a key or know the code to get into the home rather than forced entry. This part seems off. I know some people here said who is going to gain from this? Look at it from that angle and you’ll find your suspects. Are Annie and her husband in debt? I know she’s a jeweler and I believe a writer, but what is her husbands occupation? Do they have children?

The break-in could be staging the scene.

i think she is not getting on because LE is close to arresting her BIL?

I know everyone has their own choice of music as I do , but, after I went down the rabbit hole about TC and listened to a few of the songs him and his band plays, something just sealed a real possibility of him being the perp. I had an inkling yesterday about him and I can see now why. I don't see any kind of income possible with him , let's just say I think he's very dark . Of course only my sleuthing opinion.

Theres info on this thread about him. If you scan up.
Reports are conflicting. A front and back door. Some reports are that the back door was open.
There is one child in front of them in the latest Christmas photo of the whole family (he is holding the black poodle)

Found lots on him with a google search. There are a few with his name. Found that poetry thing which was weird. They must have been together awhile bc the photo of SGs sister was when she was much younger-should have taken screenshots of the instragram etc bc now they are probably down. Well maybe not bc that would look suspect.

Ohhh, I need to get caught up. Damn. Thank you.

Two nights ago, I started looking at that particular individual and texted the name to myself. I would not have put anything here because I understand the rules and will await approved sources. I remember the Barry Morphew days and the people here with their spidey senses, and the Sherri Papini kidnap doubters being reminded what this site is about. If what is being discussed turns out to be true, a lot of other sites will want to get something out there today so they aren’t completely scooped.

there was a screenshot in this thread where he was introduced himself as a 6th grade and biology teacher, and he also mentions his kids.

we don’t know their financial situation of course! but between savannah, and the other brother who is a retired pilot, you could see they would be the ones who are less well off. that could cause some grievances.. if it was really the son in law who did this, i would bet there is a mix of financial reasons and emotional reasons related to family dynamics. (of course none of those reasons justifying anything like this!)

I agree - I think it’ll be abit like what happened with Moniques family they stayed very quiet as they knew exactly what had happened and who was likely responsible from day one.

I think Savannah not doing a plea probably suggests this will be the case here.

Am I the only one surprised media camera's are going right up to her door and zooming in on blood drops and where the nest camera was? Why is her house not taped off? Brian Entin said it is no longer a crime scene but how can that possibly be. I understand FBI/LE took their crime scene photographs and samples but, still, we don't need people walking all over her property while this poor woman is still missing.

I think of the dreadful college murders in Idaho and, just like this case, obviously had huge media attention with media trucks camped out, day and night. And in Moscow they had the bodies, removed them and it still was taped off immediately.

I just find it appalling, honestly.

They are probably trying to determine if the note is legit/ from the actual kidnappers so they shared it with Savannah and Annie to gain more clarity. Also it would be up to Savannah if she chooses to pay the kidnapping ransom on the off chance that her mother is still alive and will be set free if ransom is paid. Detectives know she has the means to pay though they may try hard to dissuade her from doing so.

It would be unethical to keep the note from Savannah if they think it could be legit.

I think Nancy was taken to Mexico - injured but alive- and that her kidnapping is cartel related.
The wording with the Thursday/ Monday business for paying or killing Nancy sounds to me a lot like what someone from a country with a large number of kidnappings (Mexico/ Venezuela) would say. This isn’t their first rodeo. They could also be moving Nancy around to various remote houses in Mexico if she is alive.

I really want to believe that Nancy is alive and will be retrieved alive.

Yesterday I was convinced this was a perverted deviant who attacked Nancy but today I think this was a targeted kidnapping to extort money from Savannah (who they know has deep pockets.) I’m not fully convinced that this was an inside job- could just be someone that found out Nancy lived in Tucson and did some snooping.
After all, a lot of private information was shared on several occasions on a major TV network with millions of viewers. Somebody could have seen this and started spinning their wheels.

In any case, I’m praying for an Elizabeth Smart miracle for Nancy.
She’s tough and mentally strong and will fight to stay alive imho.
Interesting thoughts. My point was that LE shared with only Savannah- there was no mention of sharing with Annie or “family” plural.

<modsnip> ... I stopped trusting MSM for information a long time ago.
Did you read the article? This Friedman guy was contacting people while the Grammys were on. That was Sunday night and here we are Wednesday. It’s so curious where he found out the son in law dropped her off then “checked” on her.
Did SG get this info out to him, or someone close to her? Who would it have been on Sunday?
Idea: what if it was Savanna? Highly suspecting her BiL, and a: thinking that possible info would come out if she planted that seed in the media? Or b: talking in confidence with a media-related-friend who shared it with this colleague/reporter?

It is not taped off because it was turned back over the family, and is therefore not restricted anymore. This generally happens far more quickly than people realise, sometimes within only hours, and Moscow should not be used as a yardstick. It is an anomaly.

MOO

Yes we can’t forget that she is well connected. The site stated that he posted the information during the Grammys and people didn’t believe it.
Better to go with more of an unknown site than MSM.

From the article: Sources say the last person who saw Nancy alive on Saturday night was her other daughter’s husband, her son-in-law, who checked in on her. He is absolutely not a suspect.

Maybe letting her know if it was her that he would not implicate him, even though he is implicated being the last person to see her.
No one else knew that
