Any word or detail on the story that NG said something very rushed and out of character for her to the neighbor friend when last contacted?

I’m
I was trying to think of a logical reason that the SIL would check on his MIL after she had been dropped off. The only thing that I can think of is the family is somehow alerted if NG's pacemaker is not syncing. If this were the case, though, he would have known that his MIL was missing.

That being said, I can think of no other reason for him to return to the house. Plus, the only reason for him to admit it is if he thought that his return was captured on her Nest front door bell. Surely, his wife would find it strange that he went out in the middle of the night to check on his MIL unless she asked him to so do.

I wish that we knew what time he actually returned to check on her or if this is even an accurate account.

JMO.

I’m not sure if he did go back to check on her. It was someone from her church who alerted the family.

Deputies searching area behind Nancy’s house 30 minutes ago. Anyone have thoughts on this. Video was shown of the deputies from Brian E. On X.
Do you know if this was filmed today or yesterday?

One thing is for sure Banfield has put her reputation on the line. She has recently launched her own podcast, leaving whatever network she was at. She's out on an island right now with info no one else has and she either will come out looking great or come out looking like a complete fraud.

The only thing that comes to mind immediately as far as a benign reason for a late night return is if NG had both regular daily medications and meds in case of acute situations, and one of the latter had been left behind after dinner and Mahjong. Jmo.

They must know more than they are saying IMO Usually, I thought there would be police securing the property and or guarding it. Not handing it back over to the family, in case they needed to collect more evidence or missed something. It doesn’t make sense?! Unless they know all they need to know? MOO
Agree 100 percent. Another reason that presser was so weird. And why leave the victim's home without any security and allow anyone to just walk all over her property?

So I guess that also rules out: Mountain Lions, Bobcats, Gila Monsters, Rattlesnakes, Scorpions.....I just can't see any of them smashing and grabbing cameras, but bears could have the dexterity...wait a minute, raccoons could smash and grab those cameras! 🤣
do we know that the cameras were in tact and operating before she went missing? (kind of a dumb Q but I have to ask)

OK, I'm just gonna put this out there. I think the flatbed truck is the distraction. Almost an hour ago this notification was sent out to LE Possible missing elderly woman near Tanque Verde Rd, Tucson AZ | CrimeRadar

I posted pictures for reference. Forgive me if this is not allowed on this thread but I wanted to put it out there. Now there may just be another 80-year-old woman Missing from the same county. IMO I think this is quite a coincidence.
sheriff nanos did say that they somewhat frequently have people who go missing just because of the terrain and also the number of elderly who may get confused and wander off

A reporter tweeted that there is a flatbed trailer with a tank currently parked at the home of NG.
Flatbed with tank....what comes to my mind is mobile pressure washing setup that I have seen often. Perhaps to clean up the blood so that more "reporters" don't come snooping around to take more photos of it.

I don’t remember that, but will be interesting to know more.

I don't think fraud would be the description. She expressed belief in her source's info. I don't think she was intended to deceive anyone, but get the scoop on info she trusted (whether it should be trusted or not will be determined eventually).

Removing the septic TANK would require a backhoe. But I am a woman in my late 60's and would have no difficulty unbolting (with a drill) and then lifting the septic tank lids off.

We had people out twice this summer who did it - once to empty the tanks and another time because when the tanks were emptied, they accidentally undid the zip ties holding the floats up so the floats later dropped down into the tank and our septic tank alarm went off.
So, in that area, are the lids ground level and not buried? I guess I assumed all septic tanks were buried several inches in the ground which all ours have been and a bobcat or backhoe was needed to removed lots of dirt to reach the lid.

Neighbors of Savannah Guthrie's mother fear for her safety

Sounds like it's not common to lock your doors in this neighborhood.
This photo of her door appears to have a steel security door with a deadbolt type of lock, so it seems there’s the intention of having that extra security. jmo

I live less than a mile from NG. They are a well known and well liked family here in Tucson. NG's husband passed away when SG was a teenager. No DV here.
None of that is evidence of no DV. And DV does not just mean an intimate partner, it can take many forms. I believe it is still a possibility, as much as stranger abduction. Statistics will tell us DV is much, much more likely.
