I live less than a mile from NG. They are a well known and well liked family here in Tucson. NG's husband passed away when SG was a teenager. No DV here.

None of that is evidence of no DV. And DV does not just mean an intimate partner, it can take many forms. I believe it is still a possibility, as much as stranger abduction. Statistics will tell us DV is much, much more likely.

‘Today’ show bosses take drastic measures to protect NBC staff as Savannah Guthrie’s mom remains missing

Multiple sources revealed to the US Sun on Tuesday that the network has decided to ramp up security and police presence at its New York City studio out of an “abundance of caution.”

“Things are tense at the studio, and as a result, NBC has stepped up security for on-air talent,” a source told the outlet.

NBC has lowered with NYPD to make sure the staff remains safe out an abundance of caution.

They are Nest cameras and everything is recorded to a cloud. When I watched AB's podcast, LE did not yet have access to the cloud. That's all that I have heard.

I'm not sure I could come up with a figure in my head that you could pay me to wander around in that desert at night.

I live on a raveen and you coudnt pay me to walk around my backyard at night ( too dark and too many coyotes) and I live in a safe area. Im exaggerating but it does freak me out.I dont like to walk around in places where houses are too spread apart.

So, in that area, are the lids ground level and not buried? I guess I assumed all septic tanks were buried several inches in the ground which all ours have been and a bobcat or backhoe was needed to removed lots of dirt to reach the lid.

Our lids are ground level because we have risers that raise them from the tank top to ground level for easy access for pumping the tank. I've seen others in the neighborhood (current new construction) that appear not to have risers so when they bring in lawn or landscaping, they will likely be buried and have to be dug up when the tanks are pumped very 3-7 years. (We had that setup at a previous vacation home.)

The only thing that comes to mind immediately as far as a benign reason for a late night return is if NG had both regular daily medications and meds in case of acute situations, and one of the latter had been left behind after dinner and Mahjong. Jmo.

I’m hesitant to write this, but maybe a conversation about demanding money was had on the drive to drop her off, only to be told no. A few hours later after being frustrated and angry, a return visit is made to pressure to change the earlier decision. Tempers and an argument escalated, someone was hurt and forced out of the house. Cameras could have been deactivated/removed at the first drop off. Time will tell whether this is the case. MOO

Maybe she was attacked by like one or more Bobcats at her front entryway while opening the front door to get inside. This could explain some blood at entry way inside and outside home plus the smashing of front door cameras. She could have left the apple watch charging when she went to dinner which is why she was not wearing it. The son in law dropped her off after the dinner event 1/31/26 and perhaps he did not walk her inside the home and make sure all was sa fe and secure for her to get to bed. The daughter lived 10 mins away and posted in past about Bobcats at daughter's Tucson property.

Bob cats generally don’t attack, They have been spotted in my neighborhood and coyotes. Coyotes are getting bolder though. This is because of the terrible fires we had Jan of 2025. Their resources are getting squeezed out so they are venturing in very urban areas. JMO

The “Today” host’s sister, Annie, was the last person to see their mother, Nancy, before the 84-year-old went missing.

That isn't necessarily true. The local news will post images and videos from viewers. They don't vet those images. During a local F2 tornado, someone sent a "home image" of a huge F5 tornado. The image was from online. The news was reporting on it as if it was accurate..LOL
