So I guess that also rules out: Mountain Lions, Bobcats, Gila Monsters, Rattlesnakes, Scorpions.....I just can't see any of them smashing and grabbing cameras, but bears could have the dexterity...wait a minute, raccoons could smash and grab those cameras! 🤣
The javelinas scared me when hiking in Tucson and I grew up with mountain lions, bobcats and rattlesnakes

Was NG still driving at 84? Signs point to no. 1. It's reported that she had limited mobility. 2. Annie and/or TC transported her to and from mahjong the night before. She's reported as unable to locate to the fam by a church friend after 11:00 a.m. for not showing up to church. So then who was it that was supposed to give her a ride to the church service? Service was prob around 9, 9:30 or 10:00. You would think whoever it was, they should have reported her unable to locate earlier than 11.

Good Shepherd New York will hold its online prayer vigil on Wednesday, Feb. 4, at 7 p.m. ET.

adult family names are public information, aren't they? Savannah's sister and bil names have been used for the timeline - when the sister (or maybe it was the bil?) dropped Nancy Guthrie off, for example
I keep seeing SIL and BIL. Wouldn’t one of them be her sibling and one be the “in-law”?

OK, sorry, I misunderstood, No idea what kind of security at Annie's house
No worries, Her home looks very nice and is valued at $650,00, I would think they would have cameras. Even if they don’t, I’m sure they would pass several on the drive to NG’s home.

They said her car keys were still there

That's true. But as others here have noted, it's possible that she normally drove herself to church because that was during the day, but avoided driving at night.

I think people are using both to refer to the same person: BIL, brother in law of Savannah and SIL, son in law of Nancy.

Nancy Guthrie appeared in a November 2025 story her daughter did about her hometown for the Today Show.
Over a meal, Savannah Guthrie asked her mother what made the family want to plant roots in Tucson in the 1970s.
“It’s so wonderful. Just the air, the quality of life,” Nancy Guthrie said in the segment. “It’s laid back and gentle.”

She said she likes to see the javelinas eat her plants.

Sometimes authorities leak info to trusted reporters, intentionally. Maybe LE wanted the SIL to feel some pressure?
Or to make them think they are not on their radar, when really they are.

Just playing devils advocate- what if it turns out that AB is correct on all of this? Does that change anyone's perspective on this?
Even If she is correct I doubt this would've been beneficial for the case. I dont see a universe where her announcing this would've been good for law enforcement and the investigation

Do you think it’s possible they cleared the house so quickly to see who would return?
The old adage goes, "The criminal always returns to the scene of the crime."

Removing a septic tank lid without a backhoe would be time consuming and labor intensive and leave the ground greatly disturbed.
Our tank cover is easily removed with a shovel by the guy that pumps out the tank. but then we know where the lid is. It's covered with about 3 to 4 inches of dirt and grass. I could see using a small backhoe if you didn't know where the lid was and you needed to dig in several places.

She drives. That was said in a presser. Car was found at home.

Very true, but maybe wants her moment in the spotlight for fame?

Yeah I think it was telling that Brian Entin didn't go forward with what Banfield said. He put out a podcast after he went on her show, and didn't touch the SIL suspect thing. He is someone who I think maintains a high level of journalistic integrity. He seems really balanced and reasonable... so whatever she heard and relayed to him, he was not comfortable sharing on his channel.

Maybe the person who gave her the info did so intentionally

How many other missing elderly women are there in Tucson??
Oddly enough, women in their 80's do tend to 'get lost' or wander---it's not that unusual. I think it usually turns out OK . People just get lost or confused and they are recovered safely.

It wouldn't be that surprising if another 80 yr old women was reported missing by their family. Apparently that woman was last seen wearing a raincoat? I don't think NG was wearing one?

I’m surprised that we haven’t heard about a suspicious vehicle etc seen on neighbors security cameras etc. Seems like the type of neighborhood that would have plenty of cameras. I would have suspected to have heard about that within a few days. Perhaps authorities are still working on what vehicles seen on cameras have reasons to be in that area etc etc. I just really thought when the story first broke we’d have a make and model of vehicle very quickly. Not sure what to think at this point tbh. Only thing I can figure is that investigators know who owns the vehicles seen in the neighborhood and or have suspicion of someone close to the victim. moo
