I have had the same thought. It's a known fact that Nancy and Savannah are both deeply religious. Was Nancy offering some ongoing spiritual guidance to someone at her church that developed a weird, unhealthy fixation on her?

There's no need to guess and speculate about Nest camera storage. The info is all here. Bottom line, it depends on whether they had a subscription plan or not, and if they did, which one they had. In some cases there may be as little as 6 hours of history, only with motion events (not continuous recording). On the highest plan, you can get up to 10 days of continuous video recording and 60 days of recorded events. If they only had the 6 hours of history active, I suspect that it will be difficult or impossible to recover anything beyond that, but I hope I am wrong.

There has never been a Nest camera that only stored locally to a server or memory card. This would only be relevant if the information about it being a Nest camera is false, and it was some other brand.

You do that, you don’t take the body, because you’ve got the distance between offender and victim already.

If you have a grudge, you take it out on the person directly (Savannah or something).

Could you hypothetically ride around with her watch and basically try to find the pacemaker? Like a metal detector of sorts. I wonder how close you would have to get. I know it still sends a signal, even after death.

It's actually possible - but you'd have to get within about 30 - 50 feet of her (and if she were indoors, then the range would drop).

Yes I believe LE has strong suspicions that it’s a hoax but unfortunately they don’t have much else at this time imo. Their hands are tied

Delaying a ransom demand? we don't even know for sure when the first ransom letter was sent/received.

Publicly we know Monday, but that doesn't mean that it was Monday.

I think the family did this tonight to open the lines of communication, and if nothing else, it is giving the illusion that they are willing to play. Every bit of communication opens up another avenue to investigate, whether it's real or not.

LE has had at least since Monday to investigate who sent the ransom note. Guessing they don't konw yet. This doesn't even seem that amateurish to me considering this case has now been given full federal resources as well and the family still had to make that video tonight?
