Maybe I am out of touch but is it part of his job to go on every talk show? This time Nanos is on NewsNation with Elizabeth Vargas. They're discussing Camron Guthrie's video.

It's a very long time there to us and of course to NG but we don't know at this particular time and sure hope not. IMOWould the 40 min gap not be easily explained by the perp rummaging through Nancy’s things/robbing her? That’s what I assume they were doing. I’ll be shocked if this was a sexually motivated crime.
You never know. They seem to be a very close family. My husband's family takes forever to say goodnight even if they just saw you 2 hours ago. Everyone hugs, says I love you, good night, be careful. And I mean everyone. It can take 15 minutes to get in the car. LOL Although, she probably didn't dawdle since she has mobility issues, but it would have taken her a bit longer to make the walk to the door panel and lower the door. For an 84 year old person to get out of a vehicle, give hugs , say goodnight to me is not a long time.
Through her job there probably is insurance for her if she were to be kidnapped. She does travel. And she could be a target due to fame and wealth. I wouldn't be surprised if it was negotiated into her contract. I know it's standard for a lot of high paid business types. If family were included, I don't think it would include your parent. Someone else might know more. Any entertainment lawyers here?Perhaps SG has an insurance clause for something like this and would get all or some of the funds back. Really wealthy people account for lots of things we'd never imagine having to think of.
Trying to catch up here, did they say what she reported?Word is she saw something on her walk today.
i thought about this strategy as they just want her back. Even a small % of what is being asked might mean they release her somewhere and end this deal or if they don't get her back at least they tried.Just a thought…but since the Bitcoin is legit, and there’s no way to get in touch with the kidnapper, and assuming this ransom note is legit: why not deposit just a portion of the ransom money and tell the perp that they will get the rest when Nancy is released? I believe it would be worth the risk of losing that money in order to get NG back.![]()
was the rear door less secure? You know what's really sad and scary... to have multiple safety features, including cameras, and at least 3 locks on the front door, but I'm guessing there's 4, and a security screen... and little good did it do. Someone STILL got inside and took Nancy. (and I'm not saying this is how they got in. Just mentioning multiple security features in one area).

I'd lilke to know more about this. From the post it seemed they tried to give detectives a tip and did not get to do so? I recall early on someone reported a story like this and the neighbor saw a 'strange car" ie one not normally at the house. This neighbor is just reporting this now??
I know next to nothing about Bitcoin but I have to believe if it’s a real account that was set up the FBI could eventually trace it, as well as the email the letter came from. MFA is becoming more and more the norm and I know you could set up multiple bogus emails, burner phone numbers, etc but the FBI has more ways (for better or worse) to identify and trace digital footprints than your average IT Joe. They identified and charged the bogus ransom letter writer extremely quickly. The ransom e-mail included a verified account number so they could do the transfer.
I have issues with this, she could have called the numbers that are all over posts to report something. I feel like she wanted to get info maybe out of fear which I could understand but there is no excuse for not contacting LE and just mosey on over. IMO
Back to basics. Why take an 84 yr old woman? The only answer is money. Guesses are anyone who had a connection to the home has been interviewed but no advertised suspects.
This thread is moving faster than any I've ever read. You're right in that it must be because we can all identify with someone involved in this nightmare. (except for the perpetrator. i'll never understand them.)groan. Yes, painful to see that now. After zillions of posts judging the relatives on that misunderstood delay.
It is amazing what can happen on a lightening thread.....
I've been here for a number of years, but I haven't experienced a lightening thread like this one.
Again I say.... I think we are all feeling that Nancy is our own Mother and Savannah our sister.....and thus we comment, judge, and misunderstand like crazy!
I don’t think it’s just about a strong suspicion- I have to imagine that in scenarios like this, a kidnapping pretty much leaves the only possibility the victim is still alive. Sadly.
It started out that she left church and went home, then she was out to dinner with family then it came out that she was at her daughters house for dinner, I think it was a lot of miscommunication and crossed stories however I do recall all of those IMOby all accounts and I have been watching this since day 1 the evening was at Annie's home. I have heard nothing about church or restaurant.
Is it possible someone was waiting inside the home when she got back? I saw video of how dark it is there. What kind of kidnapper would make demands and then just sit there not communicating and giving the family what they want. I agree with others here who have said it could be scammers just trying to profit from this situation. Maybe the ransom could just be the throw everyone off and buy the person a few more days of freedom to try to run. I hope this lady is still alive. I never could understand how someone thinks they have the right to take someone away from their families.was the rear door less secure?
Yes, the part about opening at 9:48 and closing at 9:50 is curious…two whole minutes? (Or I guess it could’ve been just over a minute if it technically opened at 9:48:57 and closed at 9:50:01)And I'm curious about the garage door info. Why might they want the perp to know they know about that? Maybe family or friends have told them she didn't typically use that route to access or exit the home and they want the perp to know they know? If her watch places her at the property, is it possible that she never actually got out of the car at all? Is it possible that someone dropped her at the front door, watched her go in, then drove around the side and quietly let themselves in via the garage?
Could the person who took her home have driven right into that garage with her and closed the door behind them?
Could 2 people have taken her home but only 1 left again in the car?
So. Many. Questions.
