This is wild. I can't think of another case similar to this...jmo.
sometimes something has never happened before and then... it does. JMO

Or maybe they're catching on that this person likes media attention. And they're trying to stay one step ahead. It's been kind of hard when media has been reporting every movement of LE.I am wondering if this new message is where to find her body, and that's why they want no traffic.
All this manpower suggests more than just verification of something in the note. Perhaps they now have potential location of a body... a kidnapper might stand to benefit not only from ransom money, but from a discovered and deceased NG...lol. I think we’re all on the same page. Based on the new note and the immediate return to the scene, it stands to reason they are verifying something.
I'm remembering in the Moscow, Idaho murders, the police chief saying things such as, "We really have no idea about that", etc. and it turned out they were moving in for an arrest.
Playing dumb to protect the investigation.
Emphasis mine. Why would a kidnapper back peddle? Things are going the way they hoped? Or there is more than one kidnapper and they are not in agreement?
Maybe evidence came back and they needed to get back out there asap.lol. I think we’re all on the same page. Based on the new note and the immediate return to the scene, it stands to reason they are verifying something.
I think there’s just no way she’s nearby. They’ve been over that area numerous times, with multiple rounds of searches utilizing people, dogs, drones, helicopters, etc.All this manpower suggests more than just verification of something in the note. I've now listened three times and read the transcript as well and still don't think they were on the same page. I can't get on board with them definitively talking about the doorbell camera when they started off talking about the doorbell camera and then switched to 'sensors', 'devices', 'cameras' etc.No, listen again at 2:00 min mark. Host was specifically asking about the doorbell cam and Sheriff Nanos talks about how they "sent in that device to do analysis" of it to the company.
That's an example of how the sheriff's choice of words have caused a lot of confusion. Another example was the 'I go with family' about who took NG home Saturday night.
I agree. The letter was received by KOLD at 11:00AM MST. Seems odd to just now be going to verify contents of the letter. They definitely caught a lead. All this manpower suggests more than just verification of something in the note. Someone posted upthread today that they've already seen the billboards, IIRC near Phoenix.Personally I don’t think we will see billboards put up. I think the FBI and police know much more than they are saying.
so how do the ransom notes fit in?
well dammit!Just got a TMZ notification and jumped ........... it was to say that Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes broke up.....
Of note:
Communication was received at 11:45 am.
It was immediately passed to the sheriff and FBI.
It was sent the SAME way as the previous communication.
Oh you know it.Whoever is doing this is having a lot of fun, I’m assuming.
I pray she is notI think there’s just no way she’s nearby. They’ve been over that area numerous times, with multiple rounds of searches utilizing people, dogs, drones, helicopters, etc.
I wondered that too. Another thought I had is the AG's home is empty, they would know by now about the 2nd note. Makes me wonder if it was bad news. The kidnapper sent proof of death vs life because they didn't meet yesterdays deadline. This is awful!!!I am wondering if this new message is where to find her body, and that's why they want no traffic.
IKR ?Good thing they keep releasing the crime scene instead of preserving it.
