Why alert the neighborhood?

why not? I'd like to know what's going on in my neighborhood and why they are seeing unusual activity and why the streets may be blocked off

I don't know what that means. "Same type of secure server" is extremely vague. Was the same brand? Was it the exact some one as in the same serial number? Vague....

"Server" here is not really a physical thing in the same way as a laptop. They're probably referring to the fact that it was sent using the same obfuscation technique as the first email. There must be some trace or identifier in the email (on the backend) aside from the IP address that tells LE how it was sent, and that's what they mean here.

As for why they're being vague about it, my guess is that the answer may be a bit boring to the general public so LE may not think there's much value in sharing it publicly (which very well there might not be). On the other hand, they might not be able to tell specifics from their end, only that it matches what they have from the first message.

Well, it means that they are careful and mindful.

However, a lot depends on what medication Nancy takes. With newer ones (e.g., Xarelto or Eliquis), as there is no need to do standard coagulation tests, someone can “borrow” a similar drug from a grandparent. LE need to check a little bit more, someone running out of their meds earlier or suddenly ordering 3-months supply. JMO.

Lots of patterns can be changed in the situation when a person is abducted. Even if it is a business.

How incorrect you are about Eliquis. There are now Anticoagulation Centers just for Eliquis. Lab test every 6 months and weight. This is true of everyone on Eliquis. I am on it. AND, if you have a reason to go to UC or ER, you must tell doctors you are on Eliquis. Finally, you cannot just stop taking it as with aspirin - dangerous.

Which in my view makes it even more unlikely she or her husband are involved. A "creative writing professor" does not fit the criminal profile of a sophisticated abduction and ransom, staged or otherwise.

What proof is there that NG was dropped off at home at 9:47pm or so? Anyone who was close to NG could have had access to garage door opener since NG did not drive car night of 1/31/26 but relied on Uber and family.

They’d have her phone, and maybe watch to verify.

Her pacemaker was connected up until a certain point too. She was def home that night.

Gas stations frequently have suspicious vehicles because well, there is lots of other crime or whatever....

Law enforcement can get a TFR..... temporary flight restriction. It bans drones from operating on the airspace

I don’t think you’ll have much luck discussing it considering the rapid pace of the thread. The neighborhood got a letter today stating LE were going to be searching a property West of Campbell Ave.
