Interesting that the perp used the news agency's contact form and didn't send it to an active email address. I suppose that might add an extra layer of protection because if the form isn't designed well then putting in a fake return email would be plausible. Which would mean any tracing would be heavily IP dependent, and those are easier to divert and spoof from what've read. If a basic contact form it would also explain no proof of life attachments (data from images or videos can be removed in most publishing software applications).

JMO.
I feel like whoever is sending this stuff may have already f'd up, they are just giving them more rope

Per Anderson Cooper; “the sheriff told NBC News there was a landscaper, a pool maintenance and maybe housekeeper and they’ve all been cooperative..they’ve spoken to the people who have worked in the house according to him and they provided certain information that was helpful.”
i read that electrical work had been done since a real estate listing was posted in 2024.

I meant what could possibly be the point of killing a grandmother, apparently not stealing anything, and hiding her within the house? For what purpose?
MOTIVE - - The million dollar question that rarely, if ever, gets answered. Even with a guilty plea.

People who are this evil would also hold a dead body for ransom, too, IMO. Families want to lay their loved ones to rest. IMO, they might be hoping the family will still pay something, if only to recover her remains and give her a proper Christian burial.

Sorry to be so morbid, but this is a possibility, JMO.

I hadn’t thought of that. Did they say that they would return her dead or alive?

At this point we just cannot be sorry....
It is the likelyhood. I am sure these children of Nancy are already prepared for the worst, and they want their Mother back in any way, shape or form.....

wonder if those cameras could be what the backyard neighbor wanted to let them know about?

I went to the tip page where the message was submitted. There is no way to attach a video or any files.

Thank you! That answers that question.

Fargo is a poster on here.
Fargo is also a movie, which I believe the original OP was talking about.

[Fargo is] A reality-based crime drama set in Minnesota in 1987. Jerry Lundegaard (William H. Macy) is a car salesman in Minneapolis who has gotten himself into debt and is so desperate for money that he hires two thugs (Steve Buscemi), (Peter Stormare) to kidnap his own wife. Jerry will collect the ransom from her wealthy father (Harve Presnell), paying the thugs a small portion and keeping the rest to satisfy his debts. The scheme collapses when the thugs shoot a state trooper.

Just my opinion, but it looked like the police had set up cameras on the main house roof vent stack looking into the back yard over the back door that leads into the garage; on the front corner of the guest house roof looking out at the driveway toward the street, and on the side of the guest house roof looking out toward the covered open back porch on the main home. Remember how LE turned the house back over quickly - guessing they set these cameras up and are back today recovering footage from these cameras. LE may have set a trap. Just my thoughts based on what was seen in the drone view footage.
Oh I love this idea

For everyone that thinks this is a search for a hidden body - it's a different kind of winter in Tucson. Today was 78 degrees. A body in a house would have been obvious days ago.

Right on. It would be in a state of rapid decomp. IMO

Has anyone compared Brian Entin's drone footage from a few days ago with todays to see if those cameras were on the casita/guest house when Brian filmed?

Electrical work was done in 2025 and final inspection on that work was just last month

Trump just said on Air Force One that there have been major developments in this case in the last couple of hours and that they are getting closer.

Thank you. A quote from a movie about a serial killer.
The context is that the Senator's daughter was kidnapped. She goes on TV to make a plea for the person to return her daughter, and goes out of her way to humanize her to the kidnapper by saying that and other things about her.

ETA: I got to this comment of mine and realized my profile has a Silence of the Lambs quote, ha. May have seen it once or twice. 🙃

Once again, may still be nothing, but air force plane just landed in Tuscon after circling for quite awhile. Was centered mostly around the base, but doesn't match recent flight data/patterns going back this week besides somewhat closely on 02/03 (and it looped south to Sierra Visa, AZ and north to Apache National Forest on that date). Image below shows the loops it's been doing for the last couple of hours.

It could be because they are doing training exercises this weekend. It was announced on the radio earlier. Or they are using that to try and hide what they are doing.

Very interesting info now on Fox News. But not an approved source here.

If it is relevant we will see it SOON everywhere.
If less relevant, i.e the US Admin's role in helping out, it may take more time.

i just think all media outlets are working overtime on this case...........

More and more this goes on and all the coverage, feels very media-driven. It’s the mother of well known news anchor, it’s getting nonstop coverage, and the “ransom” notes going to news outlets, plus the cameras being removed feels like someone wanted publicity to share their hate for media in my opinion.
Oddly timed too, since it is covering up the Epstein files which should be dominating the 24 hour news cycle…

I think this former Navy SEAL commander/hostage negotiator is insightful. Says person is not negotiating in good faith, has shown propensity for violence (NG's blood at front door), and that you basically can't pay without proof of life.

Is there a kidnapper out there that negotiates in good faith? Isn't the fact that he/she kidnaps prima facie evidence of a propensity for violence? Don't pay without proof of life? Does he not realize what the stakes are here?

Someone posted earlier that 90% or so of kidnappers return their victims with payment. I think I'd go with those odds meself (if I had the cash, of course).

JMO.

Beginning to think there was no abductor requesting a ransom. Just someone playing ransom games.
This is my belief as well. They're getting a kick out of all the news coverage they're eliciting.
