Edited: I deleted my post of Trump speaking because I didn't realize it was Fox News.

Someone suggested up thread you are Brian E. If you are, did you see this camera when you went onto the property or did you only go to the front door.

Or maybe I’m just barking up the completely wrong tree 🤣
I mean, I could be wrong, but I don't think Brian E is from Mass? Lol

ETA: And yes, I'm not sure if he's still there, but the number of Brady/Patriots profile pics MassGuy has had over the years makes me pretty confident he comes from Mass, haha

The kidnapping could be authenticated by intimate details that a kidnapper provids to either LE/family/media and those details are confirmed by LE. Those details doesn't necessarily have to include proof of life, although that is certainly desirable. Proof of life after the fact would also almost certainly help LE locate the kidnapper, which would likely be a significant reason for a kidnapper not to give it.

JMO.

“Those details” are not what we are even talking about. Intimate details are not proof of LIFE. A person is.

This is very simple at this point. Proof of life. I’m not going on hypotheticals .

I might be overly optimistic on the capabilities of LE, but I find it so so hard to believe today’s activity was for a camera they somehow previously missed (although stranger things have happened). I also find it unlikely that LE put the camera there to come back a few days later when the house has been under around the clock surveillance b media…not even sure the point I’m trying to make, this whole things is bizarre.
Diversion???

I can't even with this thread tonight. Teslas and roof cameras. Someone explain it to me like I'm 5 years old.
Teslas are "cyber cars". I think they're online via Starlink 24/7. Their cameras are always working.

Can someone please give the cliff notes of today's updates for me? Minus the political mumbo jumbo about sources etc.
I'm seeing something about a camera but I can't read 100 pages tonight lol
A news outlet that had previously received a communication from the "kidnapper," received another communication. It appeared similar, and included some detail that would supposedly verify that they were the same person who sent the previous communication.

This communication was sent through the newsroom tip system, and wasn't an email as we had previously believed. That's likely the case with the communications the other station and TMZ received in the past, but not a fact.

After this communication, police returned to the house. They were spread out all over the place, seemingly looking at different things. They may have removed a camera from the roof area of the house.

That's pretty much it.

We don't know that they didn't have police sitting on the house. We've also seen them set up cameras to monitor locations in previous cases. I remember the Jayme Closs case where a police camera captured someone breaking into the house weeks after the murders.

A potential deviation in all of this is that the cameras may be the kidnapper(s) and he/she/they referenced them in the second letter. Indeed, what if the perp was watching the investigators? 😳

Diversion???
Do we have any applicable examples of something like this? This would be a ton of manpower to waste on some sort of diversion…and to what end?

They used them to catch people vandalizing them and dealerships, when all that was going on.

It takes time to get evidence results back from labs, from what I understand. Just my opinion, but they are likely waiting on those results.
Hopefully the FBI/Qunatico is able to get them results quickly.

Yeah, they managed to snag some pervert who broke in to steal her underwear after the original crime. I'd forgotten about that little "sting".

I hear you and I appreciate you playing devil’s advocate :) But do you actually think in this case that LE have been sitting on the house or have cameras? I hope so, but I’m not so sure.

I would hate for them to pay a fake ransom and it embolden a scammer to do it again
i think scammers are already emboldened as are kidnappers

That's a little too Hollywood for me.

I think it's one of Nancy's, and they previously didn't remove it for some reason. It better be a good reason.

Trump suggests “some things" could be coming from DOJ or FBI on Nancy Guthrie case

President Donald Trump seemed to suggest on Friday that “some things” could be coming from the Justice Department or the FBI in the case of Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance.

“We have some things, I think that will maybe come out reasonably soon, from DOJ or FBI, or whoever, that could be, could be definitive. A lot has taken place in the last couple of hours. A lot of things have happened with regard to that horrible situation in the last couple of hours,” the president told reporters aboard Air Force One.

The president posted on Truth Social earlier this week that he is “deploying all resources” to find “TODAY” anchor Savannah Guthrie’s 84-year-old mother.

Asked about the federal support, Trump said, “I think we’re doing very well on that regard,” adding, “Very well meaning we have some clues, I think that are very strong, and I think we could have some answers coming up.”

Trump did not elaborate further as to what exactly those developments could be.

That's not a very responsible thing to say. It gives whoever committed this crime a head's up to flee.
No offense but he is the last person I would tell evidence to in this case, sometimes he talks before he thinks. I am not into politics so it is nothing with him being President, I am just remembering him in the past on tv, lol.

Agree! It could have been planned release of crime scene.

Trump can't keep his mouth shut. They should not tell him or the sheriff anything.
You said what I was too afraid to say fully lol
