Somewhere upthread is a google map link showing where it is. And I recall a mention (unknown if verified) that the Circle K is near AG and SIL's house.

Maybe searching the thread for "Circle K" and looking shortly after it was first mentioned, might be the quickest way to find it.

MOO
I am the one who said the Circle K is right next to AG’s house, it’s .5 miles, a 2 min drive or 10 min walk. However it is also one of the closest gas stations to NG’s house and is on the way to the highway from her house.

I live a few minutes from NG, I’m not a verified insider or anything but I do know people who know her/the family.

I hear you and I appreciate you playing devil’s advocate :) But do you actually think in this case that LE have been sitting on the house or have cameras? I hope so, but I’m not so sure.
I would imagine LE has had the house under surveillance since she went missing, as often criminals return to the scene.

My speculation:

We already know that the ransom email mentioned something about the smart watch and about a broken spotlight.

What if this communication said, "not that floodlight, the other  one".

if she was in or immediately around the house, i don't think she would have disconnected from the pacemaker app?
I’m familiar with Arizona. I love it there. One of my cousins live up the mountains outside of Phoenixand has daily visits from wildlife. I’m sure it’s the same at Nancy’s house.

Truthfully, I’m not ruling out that she’s still out there around her property. it seems that sheriffs department dropped the ball. Otherwise, why would they be out there again?

Does anyone have any insight as to why the rewards have been so skimpy? I think the first reward was like 2500, and the FBI reward is now 50K. I would think Savannah would put up much more money. Someone knows what happened and enough money would probably draw them out.

Personally, I view it as a very reasonable approach.

As I never watched Guthrie’s show, to me “a celebrity’s mother” is almost unnecessary information. I feel equal degree of compassion to all children of Nancy, and mostly, I am sad for Nancy and angry with the person who hurt an old lady. There may be lots of other people in the country feeling the same way. So the official message is “the state of Arizona’s reward here is equal to that offered for any other old abducted woman”.

What happens behind the scenes might be very different.

Can someone please give the cliff notes of today's updates for me? Minus the political mumbo jumbo about sources etc.
I'm seeing something about a camera but I can't read 100 pages tonight lol
  • FBI received another ‘ransom note.’
  • Police moved journalist to the end of the street and blocked off all entry.
  • Police informed neighbors they would search for properties in that area.
  • FBI arrived at NG home ‘searching’ for something.
  • FBI pictured on top of pool room removing either a solar-powered motion detector spotlight – which may also have a camera (unknown)

You can play Mahjong with 2 players, and even 3 (Siamese mahjong or use a ghost player)
Oh, ok. Thanks !
I personally have never played it although a few times online and didn't find it to my liking. ;)
I think I saw at least two movies a long time ago that showed some people playing and it was always a group of four.

Just in on Court Tv. TMZ is saying that Nancy is alive and where the kidnappers will drop her off.
hmm just checked tmz ... nothing new there. Would think TMZ would want the scoop on that lol

I mean, I could be wrong, but I don't think Brian E is from Mass? Lol

ETA: And yes, I'm not sure if he's still there, but the number of Brady/Patriots profile pics MassGuy has had over the years makes me pretty confident he comes from Mass, haha
Not saying I believe it just someone said it up thread 🤣

This is the second news outlet saying that a letter was well written/structured. That stands out to me.

Are they playing to the ego of the person who wrote it? Are the letters structured in some sort of particularly striking way?

I just don't think that even a "well-written" ransom note would make me publicly comment on the fact that it was well written. Seems like a given that an adult who planned a kidnapping and led law enforcement on a week long wild goose chase could put together some paragraphs.

Maybe the kidnapper is waxing poetic?

MOO
I think well written could actually be a good clue if these are real ransom letters. IMO, well written implies good grammar and proper punctuation.

This could mean a few things:
1. English is difficult to learn as a second language unless you started young because we structure our sentences differently than other languages. They would be able to tell if English was a second language pretty easily.
2. They could determine age range of writer. Younger millennials and Gen Z write completely different than other generations because they grew up with a computer in their house. They’re more likely to use shorthand and acronyms.
3. They could determine education level based on how well written letters are. (Their, there, they’re).
4. They can determine region of origin in the US based on differences in how we refer to certain things (casita vs guest house/ sidewalk vs walkway/ highway vs. freeway, etc.).

They most likely have already developed a profile of who they think they’re looking for based on how these ransom letters are written if they believe they are in fact real.

The house is older and was probably considered pretty remote when it was built. Maybe the small structure is a well house?
almost certainly a casita/guest house. It is air conditioned and casitas are typical in upscale large lot Arizona homes.

This is the circle k discussed Google Maps

Question: Do we know why the Circle K? And where is that in relation to AG's?

Again, I don't think the family is involved, but I'm curious.

I would imagine LE has had the house under surveillance since she went missing, as often criminals return to the scene.
Usually I see that more when they are returning to where the victim is, or where the house they burnt down is. Somewhere they can admire their handiwork, the gruesome bits. But it’s possible.

There was no proof of life, and no further demands apparently.

There was also this report, which I found interesting. It has been posted a bunch, but it's easy to miss with this thread going so fast:

Police probing leads about a vehicle

Law enforcement officials in Arizona are searching for a vehicle or vehicles that may be connected to the Nancy Guthrie investigation, NBC News has learned.

A Circle K spokesperson told NBC News that law enforcement visited one of their stores on Oracle Road in Tucson after “receiving a tip regarding a vehicle of interest, and our team has provided them access to the store’s surveillance video.”

Officials haven’t said if the vehicle or vehicles are definitively connected to any part of the crime, or if that lead has since evaporated.
Thank you! My tired eyes are very thankful lol

I thought there was some much smaller thing beyond that, sort of in the larger vegetation.
