My opinion, SIL set this up without wife's knowledge. Bad marriage, etc. Hope I am wrong but not sure what else makes sense.
Not even the Idaho 4 thread?I haven't seen a thread move this fast since 2008
The timeline shows that she did.rsbm
Actually they do know she left that house alive. She left in an Uber.
The bigger question is - did she ever return?
moo.
This was from a very unverified source I’m surprised it was discussed in the WS live
I don't have an opinion one way or the other about the phone's location, but it states that the phone was found at the home, not in it. I take it that they are telling the reader that NG did not take the phone with her. If the phone was in her car, it was at the home.Yes, and that publication date is Feb 3, 2026.
On Feb 6, 2026 News Nation stated it was actually found in her home.

FBI investigating new message in Nancy Guthrie case
The FBI continues to offer a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to Nancy Guthrie’s recovery.www.newsnationnow.com
I agree. If they are taking it seriously so am I.For some reason, I am leaning towards the ransom being legitimate. At first, I agreed with others that it seemed like an opportunistic scammer, but the police are still taking it seriously. The details included in the ransom would be easy to verify or dismiss, and the fact they are still investigating it this deeply says to me there’s something in there that aligns with what they believe happened. Respectfully….no. It’s not. Cartels are not interested in a random American tv host and her mom who they have no ties to. they have their picks of people who work for them, owe them money, don’t pay debts, cross them in some way. We have to be realistic IMO.Solid possibility.
So did she have a different source from this thread?Tricia read the report. She isn’t known to quote unverified sources.
Tricia?
So did she have a different source from this thread?
"Nancy Guthrie left her mobile phone behind in her car, and the search for her was nearing the 48-hour mark by Tuesday morning."I don't have an opinion one way or the other about the phone's location, but it states that the phone was found at the home, not in it. I take it that they are telling the reader that NG did not take the phone with her. If the phone was in her car, it was at the home.
Or there is information "in" and "under" the vehicle. 1)The car may have retrievable GPS information on all the places she has driven in the last two months. 2) The vehicle may have "automatic seating adjustments" for a 2nd driver or even a guest. IE, the location of the seat, steering wheel & rear view mirror will tell you a lot about the height of the last driver. 3) And even if finger-Doesn't mean there's not evidence on the outside of the vehicle.
Not sure I'd put a lot of stock in the dents and dings on the car. It's not uncommon for drivers in their 80's to be misjudging curbs and other cars and having minor accidents. Seniors are notorious for refusing to stop driving and think limiting themselves to day driving is enough. From my experience with an 80+ parent, their car looked like it had been in a bumper car carnival before we ended the driving. When asked, the parent(s) would deny ever hitting anything and were adamant someone must have "hit them in the grocery store parking lot while they were shopping" and they didn't see the damage...just my opinion, fwiw.Someone posted photos of the Subaru from when it was being towed earlier. It looks like there’s some previous damage to the front end of the car.
True. But don't be disingenuous about border towns in the US not having plenty of cartel influence and spill-over crime (which sadly effects mainly the Latino-centric demographic that comprises many of these border towns). The FBI has a long standing dossier on Tuscon's importance in cartel operations and it is 60 minutes to the border for any criminal regardless of their background.Cartels are highly organized, precise, and have zero interest in an elderly lady and her American tv host daughter. Somehow being 1.5 to 4 hours from the border (depending on where you’re going) makes people assume that Mexico and cartels and even those here without papers must be involved.
Agreed. The reports mostly say her wallet, ID, phone, and car were found at the home. The same wording could apply whether the phone was in the car or inside the home.I don't have an opinion one way or the other about the phone's location, but it states that the phone was found at the home, not in it. I take it that they are telling the reader that NG did not take the phone with her. If the phone was in her car, it was at the home.
LOL probably I wasn't in that. Jodi Arias was another good one during the trialNot even the Idaho 4 thread?
