AZ Nancy Guthrie, 84, (mother of TODAY Show host Savannah Guthrie) missing - last seen in the Catalina foothills area on Jan 31, 2026

they took the watch off her and took it to her house.
If this, it’d also likely be that phone was placed on her home as well, right? But then what about pacemaker disconnecting later? Logistics are confusing. Unless phone was returned after watch, but LE would have figured that out ASAP.

Could she have been harmed at AG’s house, and then never made it home? Meaning the scene at NG’s home was staged? This is all so sad. I hope AG had no involvement.
I believe there was a signal from her pacemaker at home around 2 a.m., so she was home and alive, if timeline was accurate.

Yes and using Luminol and similar products is done to look for evidence as opposed to ruling out.

I just don't think using such substances are being used to 'rule out' - spraying it everywhere just to rule out there are no bodily fluids present! Hence my response about timing was addressing the 'ruling out' post.
Not in my experience, though your experience may vary. If there is something that looks like it COULD be dna or blood, it will be checked. The course of checking rules people/places/thing in or out. I was not saying they went over, saw nothing that remotely looked suspicious, then decided to spray everything all over.

In my own garage, I have several blood stains, all mine. If someone were searching for my mother, they might check those and it would be ruled out that they had anything to do with my mother.

Dunno about prints but you can definitely get touch DNA
Touch DNA is always controversial due to its high rate of false positives, but it would certainly be a start. There are a lot of rocks in that area too. Aren’t there stones in the driveway? Hopefully, the gas station surveillance footage provides a lead.

Is it possible the Apple Watch was removed elsewhere and taken to the house?
I have one and it is clear when I take it off. And also would say where I did so. Electronics that monitor so much are hard to trick folks with. Jmo

YES!!! THIS! I don't think Nancy ever made it home.
or she was moved. Did something happen at AG's house and they brought her home with the intent of making it look like a staged burglary? Was the blood on the porch from her NOT leaving but coming back home?

Then there is the issue of the blood outside - although it's not impossible that it got there at some other occasion. Does anyone know whether it's possible to determine how long a blood spatter has been somewhere?
The technology DOES exist but I think, and someone please correct me if I am wrong, I think it's more in terms of aging it weeks/months/years on surfaces, not really days/hours. I mean, FRESH is fresh. Coagulation helps in the immediate. But potentially 18 hours head start, from 6pm to noon the next day? I don't think they can age that except to possibly say it's been there much longer than 18 hours.

I’m too confused. And tired. All of these late day/night visits to the houses, I’m wondering if this will be another one where they just pack up and leave and nobody knows anything more.

Doesn’t it look like a flashlight and the breaks are just because of the window panes? Unless its multiple flashes but they move from right to left
I’m thinking it’s both the use of a flash light and flash from a camera?

not necessarily. That signal could have been at AG's house

And then you’d need to find another explanation for the blood the front door. If she never returned home

Front door scene staged to draw attention away from other entrance or exit points in the house, such as the garage? Or staged simply to bolster the abduction narrative? I still don't like those spatter patterns.

The signal from the pacemaker syncing with her phone and/or watch at 2am just means she was alive at that time. Nothing indicates she was home at that time. The phone and watch that were left behind could have been placed in the home anytime after that, up until family arrived the following day at 11-something in the morning.

If she didn't make it home, what is the explanation for the time gap btwn the garage door open/close at around 9:50pm and the door camera going out at about 1:30am?

I wonder if the car went back to NG's house and the watch was dropped off there. Hence the ransom issuer knew where the watch was and included that detail in the ransom note.
all of this is pointing towards the ransom writer and the perp as the same person/persons

If she didn't make it home, a quick drive there, raise and lower the garage door to suggest she was dropped off home.

Later returning to the house to stage crime scene

If she never left AG home, her watch did, and it was part of the staging at her home. So, it would disconnect from her pacemaker connection.
I have zero idea how pacemakers work. Can they still send signals to an Apple Watch hours after death?

I don't know much about the damage to AG's car, is there a photo of it? Is it the sort of damage that looks like a vehicular accident or lower damage that might come from say off-terrain driving?
I did see a pic of the front of her car on a flatbed, it had some minor damage Ill go find it, someone posted it in here earlier

And her pacemaker disconnecting after that.

Like you can visualize this going down by the events, and it just doesn't work if she's not there.

Especially with the pacemaker.
