Look at shoulder breadth and gait. I see male

I think he was trying to block it, either in lieu of removing it, or prior to removing it.

He clearly didn’t have an immediate plan, which tells me he didn’t know about it beforehand.
Think he was trying to hang the plants on there to block the camera? but why walk up to a camera and spend a minute blocking it after that? Did he already know he was bringing her out the front so he wanted that part blocked.

And BTW- nest seems to be recording your video even if you don't have a subscription...

IMO he’s a male. My partner has really long dark eyelashes (italian) and thick eyebrows, looks like he’s wearing eyeliner. I do believe the mask he’s wearing covers the top portion of the brows, making them appear thinner. It’s really hard to tell but the build and moustache seal it for me.
And if he is smaller in stature - people may think female as well automatically even if male.

The eyebrows just do not sit right with me. They're SO dark and thin, but also at times they don't look like eyebrows at all.
The parts of the eye are too big to be real, IMO. The dark border around the iris, looks like a mask. No pupil or lack of a pupil.

Why would he want to expose his eyes and mouth? Like why not wear night vision glasses? Also, not cold in Tucson and he seems to wear such padded clothing.
Tucson is high elevation desert. 2400 + feet. Gets pretty chilly as soon as the sun goes down. It is still winter. And what they say about Arizona..It’s all about altitude, not latitude.

Not to make light of it or anything, but the gun being in that position if he were male, wouldn't it get in the way of his kahunas? If he was male would it be rubbing up against them. Many of the people in our area have firearms---and I have never once witnessed someone carry a gun like that. Definitely not someone who has been trained with a firearm.

Which brings me to my next point---have they checked the local firearm ranges and film footage from there? IMHO, this person is inexperienced with a firearm and they had to go somewhere to practice.
Kahunas!!! 😆

no but some are stuck on SIL

You do realize that the SIL and DE are two separate people, right? I said it looked a lot like DE to me, I made no mention of the SIL being involved.

Very weird. When I see super thin brows like that, I assume female but the body seems male.

As he tried to obscure the camera using the plant and flowers, he must have rung Nancy Guthrie's doorbell (inadvertently?) many times. When she went to the door, he must have punched her in the face, causingthe blood to be on her porch. Poor Nancy. What has he done to her, and where is she now? How frightened she had to have been.
Terrible!
I’m thinking, one person, not real big or strong looking, it would be hard to carry Nancy, so he probably forced her to walk to his car, get in. ( maybe threatened her, gun showing)

Google “hyper realistic face mask.”

Wonder if he wore one under the balaclava.

This obviously means that they don’t actually have a suspect, at least one that they can identify.

I’m starting to believe that this person was just stupid. If the ransom was in fact real, from this particular individual, it was an afterthought. They also don’t seem to have cased the house thoroughly. They would have known what to do with the camera immediately. Instead they’re looking for something to cover it with. They then decided to just rip it off.

I think it’s also important to keep in mind that we know next to nothing about Nancy Guthrie aside from her watching a church service on a live feed. She could have issues with a neighbor. When the floodlights were mentioned as being destroyed by the person who wrote the ransom, someone brought up the possibility that that could have been what this was all about. Someone was ticked off about them always shining. People do horrible things over small matters all the time. To take the time to destroy them is wild when they didn’t even think of how to deal with the door cam. I guess they could think that the flood light may give them away, but they didn’t check to see if there was a door cam? It’s weird. It’s dumb. Maybe this is an amateur young person from the neighborhood. I don’t think they’ve ever said whether or not anything was stolen from the house. That would reveal if this was in fact a robbery gone bad, that robbery was the motive.

All that being said, this person doesn’t seem to be well organized. Hopefully, they slip up. Hopefully, someone recognizes the jacket and backpack. Hopefully, they end up on America’s Dumbest Criminals.

Yes, Libby’s pic of RA was the key to the case.
Remember the guesses about height weight?
Any guesses height and weight with this person?

JMO
I was thinking that this person looked female -- shorter than most men and average height for women (5'4 to 5'5 range?), slightly overweight but maybe not (depending on the layers of clothes), sturdy (not skinny or much out of shape), posture, eyes, if those are the person's actual glasses, they could be female ...

On the other hand, I'm much better at intuition vs details and psychology of people in terms of motivations (not in this case, though) vs. physical characteristics.

This person also seemed to lack confidence and be impatient and frustrated at the door.

And they put together a horrifying look but I think they might actually look like any of us underneath the get-up they are in.

This perp looks younger than late 40s/50s too imo, which would exclude him.
I think he looks young too for some reason. I still think this could be Zizians lol... far fetched but seems their style.

the eyebrows aren't fully visible, the mask is covering them. I think that's where people are thinking they are heavily manicured. We can't see them fully, they are under the mask IMO

I think it looks like a mask underneath. and it "looks" black or darker to us, but is most likely not that color.

It could be someone in their inner circle, but acting independently from NG's family members.

I agree. He seemed a bit caught off guard by the camera and slowly tried to figure out a way to block it. He seems quite well prepared except for that part which leads me to think he had not been casing the house for days or weeks prior. He looks like a burglar who decided to rob a random house… so why did he take an 84 yr old woman… and seemingly nothing else?? How horrifying for NG :( I didn’t really buy into the ransom theory, but I can’t think of any other motive after seeing this…
Maybe, NG said to him full of fear: This won't be easy for you! My daughter is SG, and you certainly know her? Then his plans changed ...... Maybe. MOO

Exactly. There’s many different ethnicities here. I don’t know where the heck Middle Eastern comes from. I’m sorry, but you really just can’t pick that out of this picture at all.
Sometimes if we look at the exact same picture, we both are seeing something completely different. This is a good thing in my opinion. Opens the possibilities to consider.
