IMO…I’ve watched the videos well over 20 times now and ALL thats coming to me is this was set up to look amateurish. I’ve probably watched to many Netflix series, but suspect masks his face (appears to me 2 masks), wears thick gloves, backpack in tow, light source in mouth, gun in holster and oopsie Woopsie I forgot to bring something to cover the camera? “Oh, looky here, some flowers that’ll do the job”?

I don't know if allowed but someone colorized image on XView attachment 643436
Oh wow. That's amazing. Gives an entirely different perspective to this person and their attire. Can we assume LE has does something like this as well? The shoes look almost salmon colored and the soles seem to come up a bit over the toes.

He definitely has a lean to (his) left. Very noticeable.

I'd def turn in a family member. I submitted my 23&me to GEDmatch for this purpose. Any one who commits a crime should have to face consequences. I don't care if it's a relative.
Haha. Someone brought this up to me when I did it. I said, “No, I want them to be caught! Have at ‘em.”

He must have come up to the house twice. Assuming the one of the right occurred first, where was his backpack and gun/holster at that time? Did he have a vehicle?
Can I ask? Where did you find the pic in the right? The twitter link in a previous post doesn’t work for me. I can’t seem to to find it online. Thank you.

I’m coming into this really late….what do you think was in that backpack?

This is the feature that stands out most to me. Lots of space between inner eyelid and bridge of nose. Eyes have a very distinct shape and are very wide. Lots of space between eyebrow and eyeball too. Very uncanny
IMO
Yes, very wide set! Shape of eyes, almond shaped.

I thought it looked like he was wearing one of the around the neck reading lights but maybe it's those reflectors shining in the very first images.

Many concealed carry permit holders today prefer appendix carry because it allows them to get to their firearm the fastest.

Looking more closely at the holster in the 2 views. It is an unusual holster for a semi auto. The strap goes across the slide/frame area of the gun and not a hammer retention strap like a revolver. It has the profile of a buscadero type holster (more used in revolvers, but there are some of this type for semi autos). If this isn’t homemade, that holster should be able to be identified. I’m still trying.
Well, Grok agrees it’s a semiautomatic. It thinks the holster is just a generic, cheap “one size fits all” holster. definitely not a set up a pro would use.

My cameras alert me to movement, but I also have my phone in Sleep mode at night. I don't want to get woken up every time the neighbor's cat walks through the back yard. I don't know what other people do, but I'd be surprised if most people have their phones set to wake them up for camera notifications. And (this might be unverified, so JMO) if NG wore hearing aids and didn't have them in at night, she might not have heard it even if there was an alert. I don't think it is at all a safe assumption that she must have already been disabled if she didn't get and act on a notification about motion at the door.
Very good points and yes I hear you.

But that's all true from her POV and with the hindsight of knowing she didn't interrupt this or wasn't alerted.

But how could perp be sure of any of that? He doesn't seem in a hurry, once aware of the camera. JMO.

I agree. With all the video in the Missy Bevers case — here we sit in the DFW area with no arrests. I think this was to stage the scene OR someone was already inside the house and this person was doing prep work. I think it still could be female. But so glad we have something to look at!! How frightening to look at your camera alert on your phone and see this. This is my worst nightmare.

This guy has a moustache. How many men know Nancy's setup at her home and have one?

This will narrow it down for the FBI

Might be a fake mustache

It can drop 40-50 degrees from daytime to nighttime temperature in Tucson, and often is in the 30s at night in January - February
I just searched the elevation of the Catalina Foothills. 2,575 feet above sea level. We're at about 1,600 and yes, it gets cold.

ugh. AI is programmed by humans, with all their biases
Yes I'm not a fan of it where it stands (off topic) but I just think it is a shame it isn't being programmed to be used for more positive societal contributions like eventually rendering quick general prototypes of a face based on shapes under cover..jmo and I don't mean to get off track - it is just a shame in a situation like this..

Thanks for the closeup pic !

Real moustache, or a fake, though.
What does everyone think ?
How scary in hindsight.
It's like looking at a picture of the devil himself.
Imo.
