Thinking this is a robbery gone wrong ,prehaps Nancy had a heart attack with the fright ,
Her heart would be pounding out of her chest

Maybe perp expected the home to be empty , did Nancy normally come home after game night ?

Was meet up with church group for online mass happen every week , fortnightly or monthly

Would perp have thought she was going to Italy with SG

I think officers arr canvassing all areas for cctv as perp had to put on mask somewhere , I doubt he drove or walked from afar fully balaclavaed and gloved up

...then they would've just ran... taking her would be pointless.

Ms Guthrie was taken for a reason.

I’ve seen people trying to identify the brand of the rucksack online. My only question is why is it so full? Looks absolutely ram packed.

I wrote this back some pages ago. I'm female .when I open carry , that's how I wear it. It's a lot easier for me if I had to use it. On the hip would require me to reach for it that is uncomfortable for me . Also I have it in my head it would be easier for someone to disarm me from the hip.(female)
I’m several pages behind, but I’m also female and carry in a similar position. Much easier for me to get to fast for self-defense, and harder for someone to take off me, especially if they came up from behind.

My husband would never carry this way. I can’t imagine any circumstance where he would. I think this guy might be limited in his options with extra clothing on, and probably wants it easily seen for intimidation.

It really disgusts me seeing these pics/videos, with this (I think) man, armed, masked, and carrying supplies to subdue (and most likely worse) a semi-disabled 84-year-old woman. What a complete loser and degenerate. I hope he goes down and is mocked & held in contempt by the other prisoners for the rest of his life. JMO, of course.

Men have been known to have their eyebrows waxed and even get mani pediatrician. Clean look
FWIW, I no longer think those are his eyebrows but part of the mask. Thanks to WSers for calling that out.

Is this the first time the terrain has been searched?

Agree right handed. The gun pouch over his groin is facing in direction of his right hand.

One thing to note about that helicopter. LE will absolutely use news helicopters for their cameras. Not saying this is the case here, but odd competing stations arent up in the air as well. Media helos have the best cameras and could be used by LE in this case to search

Yah, I am watching Live coverage now around AG's house - I can hear choppers overhead (not my head - videographer's)
Bbm.
It'd be nice to know how near to AG's house they are ?
Imo.

Yes! I sort of thought that SWAT was often supposed to be a surprise. A huge force and presence, usually showing up unexpectedly. It’s quite possible, though, that I’ve watched too much TV.
Thoughts what I assumed too! It also would seem like an issue in terms of traffic if a SWAT vehicle was being followed by dozens and dozens of media vehicles who are all trying to keep up and be “first”

I'm very sorry if this was mentioned, I'm doing my best to read/catch up but I have not found when LE/FBI received these photo's, anyone know how long they had them or if they just received them?
He appears to be pretty calm, pulling brush, calmly walking to the door etc. IMO

according to Kash Patel on X they were just recovered this morning. they weren't backed up to the cloud because NG didn't have a subscription, so they had to work with a third-party team (not sure if that's Google or like, another cyber security firm) to recover them.

Agreed. The person also looks around first at an area that appears to be gravel and then spots the flowers and goes over to them. Doesn’t seem like someone who knows the entryway as well as a close family member.
Why use the front door in the first place? Makes no sense.

Is the news station that owns the helicopter overhead reporting anything?

  • #19,196
It seems like they are looking everywhere in the AG neighborhood and walking through the bushes.

I would think that robber or kidnapper might take a look at the exterior of the house prior to committing the crime.

Looks like the news helicopter has left the area

I apologize if this was already covered but I have not seen anyone carry a gun quite like that. I would expect concealed or on the side. Any gun enthusiasts think a certain type of person wears their gun like that? Almost makes me think this isn't a seasoned gun person. Thoughts?

I would never carry a gun in that way.
I've concealed carried with no holster ALMOST center, but to put a holster there is truly odd, IMO There's so much about that holster/gun/position that is SO off it really is...I don't know any other way to say it than it looks inexperienced & sorta hodge hodge thrown together. JMO
