AZ Nancy Guthrie, 84, (mother of TODAY Show host Savannah Guthrie) missing - last seen in the Catalina foothills area on Jan 31, 2026

JMO, Just taking a swag on his/her height. If you look at the prep as he is standing by the front arch, and counting the bricks using images of NG front porch posted here, they seem to be 5-10 or 5-11. I used 3 inch for each brick and an inch for the mortar. I used the brick that can be seen protruding from the arch as reference as well.
JMO
I think that is reasonable. Seemed like a 5'9 to 5'11" 175 pound man to me.

forgive me about the pizza guy lol I didn't realize it was delivered to a reporter. Scary to think someone could just walk up to door and plant evidence though

So if they have paid the ransom (!!) I wonder if swat is going to the drop location where Nancy is to be returned?
They didn't pay. It was an amount less than $300 per multiple sources on this thread.

And they were saying the same thing about Bridge Guy in the Delphi case, and no arrest for 5 years.

neither the devers case or the delphi case had footage of this quality. their footage quality was really terrible, not basically an up close shot of the face.

that said, with his disguise, it will probably take someone who knows him fairly well to reach out to the police. and who knows if they'll be willing to do that depending on the type of company he keeps...

Backpack looks like that of what a school kid would wear- like maybe highschooler. No one takes the time to remove a doorbell camera unless it was to coverup an earlier crime in which time was not of essence. So many other entry points to the house. This case is bizarre and sadly, I don't think NG died at her home nor was removed from home against her will. I think she died 1/31/26...after the last know proof of life which is with Uber driver who simply dropped her off. No concrete proof revealed to public that NG returned home. NG had bedtime routine, so unless there's proof of her routine and that she went to bed, I think her death was on 1/31/26. I think it was a financially driven.
The Sheriff said at first that there was evidence of her being removed from her bed.

Her watch and pacemaker were also connected to her at him until around 2am. So she did make it home.

IMO, trying to explain Bitcoin in a sentence or two is like trying to explain nuclear physics.

Wiki has a pretty good explanation for the sake of discussion

JMO
This is so accurate. It's not a thing that can be meaningfully explained in a few sentences.

If the person asking actually wants to know the ins and outs and whys, the wiki is good place to start.

If they don't, the answer is "it's basically somewhat anonymous money that isn't tied to any specific country's currency and also at least theoretically harder to trace."

IF the perp did leave behind dna (taking samples from hired help suggests he did). I wonder what the source is. The person in the cctv footage seems quite well covered. I would be surprised if Nancy put up a fight given her mobility issues and the fact the perp has a gun. Did they leave behind something like BK?

Right. But there are very basic packets of data being sent out all the time. “Are you there?” “Are you there?” inquires the pacemaker. If the receiver responds, “I’m here, I trust you, and you trust me,” then data can be sent.

All LE needs is the pacemaker’s advertising signal. Not saying the chances are high, but it’s possible.

And morbidly, it might still advertise after death, since it’s just a battery-powered device.
It will, but the ones I've dealt with (Boston Sciencitific) they would only connect to the device it is tied to with a unique id.

In order for us to get a new hub (due to damage) it took a month for the information to be moved over completely. That was after the Physicians went into the Pacemaker to set a new ID physically (2 Day Surgery) only the hub was damaged, but the ID had to be changed in the pacemaker itself to connect to the new hub.

It's not like a typical Router setup.

$300 is an odd amount for a test transaction... I've never tested a transfer with more than $5, but I guess I'm in a different tax bracket than anyone involved here!
Where did the $300 figure come from?

Jake Tapper just said Tucson station KGUN said the amount of activity in the bitcoin account was under $300.

In all fairness, what idiot orders a pizza to a potential crime scene. IMO

Fox News (national level) said SWAT and bomb squad headed southeast of Tucson. This was said on air 10-15 minutes ago. Been trying to find a clip, mods I can delete if needed.
Nogales is se of Tucson.

I’m thinking the $300 was a setup by FBI? Could a bitcoin account holder see a deposit amount without logging in?
Yes, anyone who has the wallet address, including the owner of the wallet can see the deposit (including the amount) without logging in anywhere. The same way TMZ and other media saw it.
