Great, not like I need to shower or sleep tonight, LOL

As an aside, the amount of live coverage is wild, it's starting to feel like an "interactive" true crime. I think everyone on WS has real empathy and a real sense of gravity with this, but it feels like elsewhere on the internet may not always be the case :/
Lol I know, but i can’t be up all night 😩

Hoping for excellent news in the morning

Yes if there was no mustache I would have said they had a soul patch. odd they would have left any to stick out since they were trying to disguise themselves unless they just thought the ski mask was good enough or grew it b/c they are normally clean shaven?

I will be disappearing in a bit to do the very grown-up, very responsible things a person my age is tasked with but I was wondering, and forgive me if this is an absolutely IDIOTIC question (as I said, we have a different brand of camera):

Doesn't AG, who doesn't live terribly far from NG's house, have alerts for the doorbell?

I know. Very dumb of me. I feel chastised even before posting, but if I lived closed enough to a fragile, elderly relative (ha! I have none...that layer of family is all long-gone!), and this technology was in place, I would want to be able to "check in" if something suspicious pinged?

Before anyone scolds me, or rolls their eyes at my silliness, I come from a different culture and generation and these things come to mind randomly.
That's a good question.

I can't link it for some reason, but if you go to the YouTube page of FOX 5 Washington DC they have a live cam at NG's home. You can see flashing LE vehicle lights in the foreground, but doesn't look like much else going on right now.

Not true. Podcast post Sunday PM.
I was referring to Twitter only. I don't follow her anywhere, including Twitter, but I did look at her Twitter account last night and then again today. I was not referring to a podcast or anything else.

It would appear from the pics of the front door that there was no forced entry, right? That is my opinion. In other words, did someone give this creep a key? Lots to be uncovered but I have increasing faith in the folks who are investigating all of this. MOO

For the life flight, I have a family member who was too fragile to fly commercial and insurance paid to transport them to another hospital for surgery. But it wasn’t an emergency situation per se. Hard to read into but JMO

I mean right now, this second, where is she? She should be all over this story, like she was when she said TC was the "prime suspect" according to her LE source.
If she has any sense she is in bed where I should be, lol

Seems like a strange time of day for a planned surgery though?

So the arguments for a Mexican cartel are a) money and b) show of power. I’m pretty sure they already have enough of both.
They also have many underground tunnels between AZ and mexico. Probably a fairly decent place to conceal someone. imo

Just landed at level 1 trauma center…
Hope it's her! But it may be that a helicopter transporting important FBI/LE officials just needed a place to land?

4 am here in London. I can’t stop refreshing twitter and this thread. This is one of the most insane true crime stories I’ve ever come across.

Nicholas Bogel-Burroughs

Reporting from Tucson, Ariz.
The F.B.I. and Pima County Sheriff’s Department are carrying out a “court-authorized search” in Rio Rico, Ariz., about an hour’s drive south of Tucson, related to the investigation into Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance, a sheriff’s department spokeswoman said. She said the operation is expected to last several hours. It comes after the police detained someone near Rio Rico for questioning in connection with the case.

SEE IT: A large police presence was seen in Rio Rico, Arizona, after a person was detained for questioning in connection with Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance. The area is less than 15 miles from the Port of Nogales, a premier U.S.-Mexico border gateway.

STOP responding to personal posts. It is off topic and clogging up the thread while we are trying to clean this up on the fly.

Just STOP.
