Well, I'm clear now I was confused by "detained at a traffic stop" and the "handcuffed fellow in the house".
Separate individuals.
SIL and Son.....
Sorry.
Not another SIL! argh

Can you say what the arrest was for? Is he a sex offender?
There is a person in his 50’s same name,
Does the following image represent a second person caught by the front door camera at NGs? I saw this image amongst the images releases and the shoes appeared different to me. Perhaps shoe covering taken off.. pt does not have backpack on... wondered if it was a different second person? Any thoughts?

That guy looks like a guy who broke into a neighbors yard weeks earlier.

Yes, detained for questioning. I hope they got information to further the case. This pic was included in X as the detainee. Similar?

I don't think that having analysed the blood splatter, it was planted at all, the pattern doesn't show that. You can see there are two sides to it and a large point at the end, almost in a V shape formation. If it was thrown in two stages to create that effect,it crossed over at a point a little. Still, it doesn't its all created in one go.
This pattern suggests that someone was hit with some sort of blunt force at the front door, and we know that it's Nancy's blood. I would suggest that perhaps, quite simply, Nancy was pulled out of the front door and possibly pistol-whipped with the gun. As she's an older lady, her skin is much thinnner so it's unfortunate that she would bleed and bruise much easier than a younger person.
As for who or what or why and all the other speculations, who knows, but let's just look at the evidence there is, not what there could be.
This has also been my idea about how it happened. Doorbell rings, NG goes to the door, she is punched in the face or hit with something. And dragged out of the house. Yes based on the blood splatter data.

Other people have said NG would never open the door to someone she didn't know. And the police say she was dragged out of her bed as I recall.

So IDK.

A few points of note (without me injecting my conclusions)

Crypto ransoms take a high degree of skill to pull off. POI would need to understand how to cold store BTC. Not on a hot wallet like Ledger. True cold storage takes sophistication and years of planning (storing keys and sleepy wallets with NO prior transactions). After the ransom is paid, POI would then need to use a crypto mixer like Monero or similar to breakdown the BTC, send it to hundreds of wallets, wash the hashes in thousands of transactions and then recollect the BTC once its been washed. After all that, they’d need a laundering scheme to convert the cleaned crypto into fiat. This person(s) would NOT send notes to the media. They understand anonymity and would avoid hot contact (I.e internet contact)

If you’re confused, you’re not the culprit. That gives a sense for the kind of person or persons skilled enough to pull off a crypto ransom. And that says nothing of the skill to kidnap someone. Those are two very different skill sets that rarely occur in one person.

What kind of singular person would those two rare skill sets occur in?

Perhaps that is a good way to think about who the perp might be.

Cyber division of the military?

That sounds like a stupid thing that doesn't exist, but like, the real version of whatever that is?

Delivery driver detained in Nancy Guthrie abduction investigation released after several hours: ‘What the f–k am I doing here’

They truly grabbed the first stocky Hispanic guy they saw, huh?

I pray that the handling of this case is not going to result in a worse outcome for Nancy.

It's already been said she was not expected to be attending her own church, in person or virtually. She was supposed to be watching a live stream of SG's church service.

I am aware now that Nancy didn't physically attend her church that day. She was expected at a friend's home to watch it with her. There was previous confusion regarding that based on a New York Times article stating her friend alerted family when she wasn't in her pew. That was obviously not accurate information.

So the live stream was on the friend's television not online? Thanks for the clarification.

We still don't know which service she was expected to be watching. Unless I missed that bit of info.

I just woke up and I can't believe it. I thought I would wake up and it would all be over.

Tough I understand... but sounds completely legal what they did to you.

I feel sorry for this guy, it shouldn't be like this. I didn't like the FBI and media circus last night.

So angry that our FBI is so incompetent. Guy makes minimum wage, going about his business, when he's surrounded by LE. Then they break down his MIL's door, throw everything around in a search. Whoops. Sorry about that. FBI agents make GOOD money, and they can't do their homework? This is America 2026. We deserve better. (Mod snip)

I think I can say with total confidence, that the last person/s to see Nancy were the ones on her doorstep in the early hours of Sunday morning. We even have photographic evidence to support that.
I am not sure we know this? Could they just be the pick up guys who deliver NG to someone else. To be honest these guys don't seem like the brains of the operation if the kidnapping is connected to the ransom note. The money people seem to be intelligent and sophisticated. The pick up guys not so much.

Imagine having pulled off a kidnapping, you're waiting on your payment and, what, you do DoorDash with your family?

Are the FBI/LE just throwing spaghetti at the wall now?
