IMO I am starting to feel like like LE keep familial involvement on the table b/c they are more lost then anything on what else to follow up on and typically one would go back to family or last seen. JMO but if this is correct, I think it is really awful. Again JMO

The story of AG and SIL should be easily corroborated and it should be possible to eliminate them quickly.

Some detail however cannot be independently confirmed, this is why LE keep coming back, it just isn't clear what it is yet.

LE will look for the objective evidence for the things they claimed happened: We dropped her off, We came home, We stayed home- Their phones, video at the Circle K, their home Wifi, their alarm system, their external cameras, search of their car, neighbors cameras etc.. should all agree.

Considering he was released without questioning and then allowed to speak to the media - I think it’s pretty clear they don’t think he is connected.

If it's true as reported last night that there was a warrant pursuant to his being stopped and detained, let's hope it's something more. And yet he was released, so it makes you wonder what they really had.

Yes, they would have a good reason to do this, even if it’s a tip they received. They questioned and released him, but maybe he’s totally innocent, or they need to check into something more and see if he’s arrested. My worries are some people might try to send in bogus tips and it sends LE to check out and waste time on the tips not being legitimate at all. They’d be a fool to do this, but some think they’re so smart.

Yeah between the video footage, blood spatter, and device data there seems to be no logical theory that could account for all of that and place her somewhere else during the relevant time period.

Sure it is possible that there is additional info I agree that we are not privy to however I truly would not be surprised that, because they can't eliminate them (since they were home asleep) and they have nothing else to go on they are reverting back to what usually happens (last seen with and close family). JMO. If that is the case then they really need to exhaust this and make it clear they are not being considered as having harmed her that night.

If your talking about CP. He was a POI, they haven't even cleared the family. They are not going to "clear" a guy they picked up on a random tip that didn't pan out unless he starts getting harassed or threatened and they take mercy on him.

I read this morning that they were moving swat teams and bomb technicians on to her property. I'm just wondering if she even left the property. She may be hidden or buried in her home or on her property.

I don't think they caught them in a lie, if they did one of them would be detained for questioning and we would know.

I think some aspect of what they said cannot be independently verified and so LE is looking for that.

If LE had enough info on C (who did not live near either AG or NG) to detain him, why were LE searching the brush near AG's home just a couple hours before that?

Detaining that poor man was following up on a lead. There are hundreds of people working this case, and hundreds of leads to follow up on. The rest of the investigation does not come to a halt each time one of those is looked at.
