Id want to know if the neighborhood had recent burglaries previously.

Retired FBI agent Lee Fabrizio said the gloves look like the Neoprene gloves commonly worn by restaurant workers and people working in agriculture. He also noted that the person’s actions, including pulling vegetation from a plant at the entryway arch and walking up to the Nest camera at the doorway, showed it wasn’t planned.

“If I was planning to kidnap somebody I would make sure I wasn’t coming up on that camera at all,” said Fabrizio, who spent 27 years with the agency, including as lead investigator of Timothy McVeigh’s Kingman associates following the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing. “It seems to me it might be a burglary gone wrong.”

2/11/2026

“Kidnappings for ransom are very unusual in the United States and we don’t have a lot of other cases to compare it to,” said Schweit. “But if we look at the facts and circumstances of this case and look at it from the more broad perspective of an investigation, if somebody engaged in kidnapping Miss Guthrie, why is that individual not doing a better job of getting their money and getting her back to us?

I think that maybe she hasn't left the property at all. Maybe she is hidden or buried right on her own property
LE dogs and searches likely would have found her in that case.

I asked earlier and AFAIK nothing has been provided. Assuming this is either old information or false.
I'll go with 'false' information if source not provided when questioned. Reminds me too much of 'my cousin's boyfriends aunts boyfriends daughter said' ......

A wheelbarrow leaves a single thin track, as any gardener knows.

MOO

Gardener here.

I have a Gorilla cart that has two wheels in the front. We call it a wheelbarrow, sorry, thought I everyone knew about these very popular models.

I also have a four wheel garden cart that leaves a double track like those as the wheels follow each other.

[I have a heavy metal tippy one wheel in front too.]

Agreed but I have been unable to find the exact style. LOL My first inclination was to go to LL Bean.

So around the cuffs---is that a different color on the inside cuff, like a sherpa fleece ?

I guarantee you they know exactly who made that fleece jacket he is wearing. mOO

I am not super techie, but my understanding was several expert subcontractors, outside of Google (Google subcontractors), were brought in to find, access images that were not saved by a subscription.

Each company had to do their own parts of the restoration( including protecting their own proprietary coding), so step by step process, probably even links between these separate subcontractors work needed permission. Time consuming work to begin with, permission needs to be granted along the way.

This is after they have found the appropriate timestamp section of the cloud to look, in the first place.

I think the FBI worked pretty quickly. This is just where we are in 2026 with proprietary coding. And as noted, obviously cloud can’t save everything forever.

Maybe a techie person can explain better? TIA

JMO
Yes I have techie people in the family and have dealt with vendors before...I can't know for certain obviously but it seems like a long time to me - that is jmo it is what it is now...but to me it is one but not the only thing that is making me question how organized this investigation has been...

The demand for the single bitcoin is not from the original ransom writer, nor does it claim to be. This person claims to be an associate of the person who kidnapped Nancy. They are offering to divulge the name of the kidnapper in exchange for 1 bitcoin ($66k). Likely a hoax, IMO. There's already a $50,000 reward. See the TMZ article posted upthread for details.
That is what they say but given that this news is public, don’t you think the main perpetrator will see that bit of news? People who are ready to rat on their accomplice don’t go spreading the word publicly. If this is not a hoax, it is likely the kidnappers decided to let her go if they get the $66K. This thing blew up way more than they imagined and I think they just want out now, with some payout for their pains. MOO

Pima County police seem totally useless and FBI seems to have really slipped under Kash. How in the world did they just put those pics and video out without someone to provide guidance to the public?!?! It’s been 24 hours with that video/photo proof out there and the public has to rely on YouTubers to analyze the videos?!?
sooo you think we should have a live feed of what the FBI is doing and them giving us analysis of the video? I am not sure that has ever happened. This is the first case that I have followed where the FBI has even given updates at all, they are usually tight lipped.

If getting t6 of the top ten most wanted on the FBI list is slipping... I don't know how much more they can do, other than getting the other 4, I guess 😁

Savannah is a 55 year old married mother of two. Unlikely a fan is obsessed with her to think of her as an imaginary gf. Jodi Foster was a teen sensation when the Reagan incident happened. MOO
David letterman was stalked for years. Most female and male celebrities' have been plagued by admirers and groupies and off the wall people. Why do you think they all have body guards and security systems? Nuts fall in love with BOTS on CHAT GBT. COMMON PEOPLE are stalked by old boyfriends, ex lovers or the mailman at work who becomes FIXATED on them. I guess you cant fathom obsession? MOO

Just my .02 but it DOES seem like there were not community wide searches that you often see in cases like this. I think about all the prior missing person cases where the community rallied and literally helped with searches (in neighborhood, public spaces, etc.). That seems absent to me here (unless I missed something). Is that because LE didn't feel like that would be fruitful? They knew something else? I just find that odd.
Could that be because the terrain is so hostile with the prickly plants ,snakes , other wild animals ,heat etc

No mention or link she has a wheelchair.

She CAN walk 50 yards. …a football field.

Moo…
Maybe she is still there on her property. Either hidden or buried

💯 As well as the backpack, his exact height, approximate weight, and who knows what details they gleaned from his eyes/face.

We don't know who their intended audience is - it may be that the pics/video were released to rile up the perp(s). I personally don't think this individual is easily identifiable because I think their entire face save the whites of the eyes and pupils is completely covered by masks. Maybe the clothing could be identifiable. It is not a slam dunk at all.

I feel like the images were released to drum up more interest and intrigue in the case. After all, it’s been almost two weeks and still no progress has been made.

I agree. If I were SG with her contacts/money I would call one of the more experienced agents that the gov't let go more recently to see if they can help and have cooperative contacts inside they can get info from

Am I missing something? It seems obvious to me this isn't the person that did anything to Nancy. This is a person sent to the house for Nancy and eliminate evidence. That would explain why he is unfamiliar with the house. It would also explain the full backpack. Items needed, e.g. cleaners, towels, blanket for Nancy.
How is it obvious? I don't see it.

I had a post a few days ago that did not garner any discussion, but I wondered if all of NG’s wheeled trash bins had been accounted for.

I had remembered another case where a killer had put the victim in one and removed her from a location.
Maybe you are thinking of Stephen McDaniel case. Macon, GA. He murdered his upstairs neighbor Lauren Giddens. Put her torso in trash can. One heck of an interview if you havent seen him get caught off guard by a reporter. Google it.
