I had a post a few days ago that did not garner any discussion, but I wondered if all of NG’s wheeled trash bins had been accounted for.

I had remembered another case where a killer had put the victim in one and removed her from a location.

Maybe you are thinking of Stephen McDaniel case. Macon, GA. He murdered his upstairs neighbor Lauren Giddens. Put her torso in trash can. One heck of an interview if you havent seen him get caught off guard by a reporter. Google it.

She had a car, she drove herself. There has never been mention of a wheelchair, only a cane.

Weird--this could be what they're telling him, but it's certainly not what happened (IMO). No way that Google or any search engine is just handing over lists of anyone who searched for "Nancy Guthrie" during a timeframe, and it would be impossible+useless to compare that to a list of people who've consumed news about this story.


So what have we heard so far about how they got to CP as a POI?

1. Nothing from LE so far
2. LE allegedly told CP that he had googled NG's name or number
3. A resident of the searched home claiming to be CP's MIL said (I think to Brian Entin) that someone had called and claimed NG was in her house
4. Speculation from this thread and elsewhere that CP could have delivered something to NG via DoorDash or as a courier (CP also implied to Telemundo that he may have been asked about this)
5. Speculation from this thread that the bitcoin address was traced some how--you can see my previous comments for why this is very unlikely to be the case (ex. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5), but basically this is not how bitcoin works and anyone setting up a bitcoin ransom drop should be savvy enough to not get caught over <$300

What makes you think that? I'm not saying she didn't have one, but I don't think there is anything to definitively say she had one b/c she used a cane.

We don't know who their intended audience is - it may be that the pics/video were released to rile up the perp(s). I personally don't think this individual is easily identifiable because I think their entire face save the whites of the eyes and pupils is completely covered by masks. Maybe the clothing could be identifiable. It is not a slam dunk at all.

I wish I thought they were playing 3D chess but they picked up a random guy last night and let him go within hours. They don’t seem to have a clue or a direction.

Someone at the FBI should be able to point people at things that make sense. They should say that it’s hard to identify facial features because of mask but let’s try to find someone who has a full face mask in Arizona, this jacket looks like X, this backpack looks like Y, etc.

I don’t see how pointing the public in the right directions hurts in any way and the lack of public comment on this just welcomes every random person saying he looks like my ex, cousin, coworker, etc.

My great grandmother weighed about 150lbs. She was partially mobile and it took a man and a woman to get her up and around. Old people weight seems very heavy for some reason because they aren't helping out with their muscles. More like dead weight, if that makes sense. I could see it being even harder to do if she fell, was bleeding, etc.

With regards to the cameras, it's weird. The suspect walks up to the house hunched over, deliberately hiding his face, indicating he knows a camera is present. However he then straightens up, looks directly at it, thinks "oh, " and realizes he's potentially being recorded, after which he grabs the brush to cover the lense. So on one hand, he's prepared but on the other, he isn't.

None of this makes sense.

did we learn something new about the blood trail yesterday during the middle of all the action i remember reading something but do not want to bring it up if it was not msm.

A reporter from Fox posted an earlier video that they hadn't released yet ('out of respect for the family') which showed that the blood trail continued from the porch further down the driveway/sidewalk. Not a huge amount of blood, same amount and consistency as the drops on the porch, IMO.

I keep asking what the status was on the bitcoin they sent, but I would presume he would not have been let go if that was traced to him. Look at the guy who was caught sending the other hoax letters (DC?) he is in jail right now.

I think that maybe she hasn't left the property at all. Maybe she is hidden or buried right on her own property

The earth there is too dense to be buried.

However, after seeing that her septic tank is behind the wall of a neighboring property, I wonder about the possibility that another resident's septic tank may have been used. All the properties there have a septic tank, and some may be as concealed from view as her own is. I hate even thinking of this.
