ONE live streamer is out in desert looking for FBI...this is getting crazy.
This is, unfortunately, the world we live in today.

This just makes me wonder:
When the crime occurred, was there really the time or means to hide her, or weapons, on neighbors' property? Wouldn't they have feared detection? What do you think, @MassGuy?
I don't have a link, it was on a live feed yesterday. When FBI was going house to house, a reporter asked one of the residents what the FBI was asking. He said they were looking for a camera that was thrown out.

My random thoughts today about the perp and the camera footage. It's almost like he was thinking about what steps to take next as if he was following instructions he was either given or googled.
I don't see a confident concise individual on the video.
Just my opinion based on the previously shared fbi camera footage

There was quite a bit of blood on the porch and even some trickling on to the concrete walkway. If it was a nose bleed then they would’ve had to stand there for at least a few minutes for that much to come out. The blood doesn’t make sense at all. MHO

Also, why even go up to the front door at all? Did he really think she would answer at nearly 2am when someone is blocking off the camera with some plant leaves? Then to leave through the front door is even more odd if he had forced entered through the back door. Based on the timeline, didn’t he spend around 30 minutes in the house with her?

OK, OK, OK. I've taken a deeper dive and my mind has changed! Comparing these two photos, I see there was NO blood on the front porch when the perp arrived. WHY IN THE WORLD DIDN'T LE TAPE OFF THE AREA???
I'm going to assume this photo was taken by media after LE had released the scene, post forensic search.

The blood spatter pattern is definitely interesting. I'm sure experts have a very good theory of where this blood came from, from what height, where Nancy was standing, how fast she was moving, etc.

It's not exactly in a straight line, is it?

I don't know. The likelihood of someone burying a body "nearby" seems to be a bit of a stretch. How does someone do that in the dead of night without being detected? I would venture to guess at night out there, one can hear a pin drop. It strikes me as a very quiet neighborhood. We all know the sound of a shovel as it pierces the ground when someone is digging a hole. Couple that with the sandy terrain which would likely produce a noticeable ringing sound. You know, the metal shovel against the sand, which is basically just a bunch of tiny stones. Besides, we've heard that the ground is just too dense. It would take someone a good long while to dig a hole big enough to bury a body. 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼 IMO
Maybe they had the hole dug in advance of the abduction.

who burgles or kidnaps with an already stuffed backpack?
I’d be that burglar. Stuff in a water bottle and an uncrustable or 2, it’s important to have snacks.

FWIW, since I've seen some discussion earlier in the thread - every time I've followed a case where a suspect image or video has been released, I've seen people on here who are certain that the POI is a woman based on perceived height, face shape, hip width, 'feminine gait', and even how they distribute their weight while standing still. In every one of the cases I've followed, the perpetrator has turned out to be a cisgender man.

I'm not saying the suspect here definitely isn't a woman, just that the metrics people rely on to make those judgements tend to be rather spurious

Delivery driver detained in Nancy Guthrie abduction investigation released after several hours: ‘What the f–k am I doing here’

So the article says that Carlos stated he was detained because a relative of his called in a tip that said that Carlos' eyes looked like the guy in the video released by the FBI at NG's front door.

There are so many possibilities here that every scenario has a pretty low probability of being right.

I get the impression this was targeted, as this guy came prepared. His actions with the doorbell camera don't indicate to me that he was overly familiar with that house.

It's almost as if he was told about it.

The ransom thing really throws this off. It doesn't appear that the FBI was buying it because that money was apparently not paid.

The demand occurred late in the proceedings, it was done bizarrely (reaching out to news outlets), and contained absolutely no proof of life. It looks to me like an afterthought, perhaps by an opportunist, or someone trying to mislead the investigation.
Was there any credibility to the $5 million was deposited late yesterday, or was that just rumor and conjecture?

Is it your opinion that there are multiple perps involved or just one?

Wheels on her trash cans ?
Could be. When I lived in Tucson, we had wheels on our trash cans. I'm in Vegas now, and we have wheels on our trash cans here as well.

There is no logo on the back of the backpack that we can see.
I went back and forth over the frames where the person turns around, looking at the way the reflection changes as the angle moves.

IMO there IS a faint mark above the front horizontal zipper, but the reflection of the IR off of the nylon washes it out. If the logo was a contrasting color (light logo/dark bag or lighter bag/darker logo) it may present different refraction/reflection than the nylon cloth of the bag. Embroidered logos are also stitched differently and appear more 'matte' than ripstop or higher denier nylon cloth.

FAT logos, say the Ozark Trail triangle, North Face, etc - would show a bigger blur since the are larger and thus absorb more light. This looked like a couple of lines of text.

Posted elsewhere, but I think it's this one (likely the white label manufacturer for Ozark trail branded bags): https://www.kohls.com/product/prd-7181728/outdoor-products-contender-day-backpack.jsp

Maybe. What makes me think he has the chest strap fastened is in the video how the completely full bag does not shift when he bends over. But 🤷‍♀️
It could’ve been something lighter, like a change of clothes?

Wow, going to be some elevated family drama there.

I agree. As was however previously mentioned, Nancy could have had brain fog (as we all do as soon as we wake up) and mistakenly thought the knocking/doorbell was the neighbour who was supposed to be taking her to church.

This is the feature that stands out most to me. Lots of space between inner eyelid and bridge of nose. Eyes have a very distinct shape and are very wide. Lots of space between eyebrow and eyeball too. Very uncanny
IMO
Wide set eyes are a symptom of fetal alcohol syndrome. This guy's slow movements and seemingly illogical decisions are also indicative. Not to incriminate all people with mental challenges, but from my amateur observation, many criminals do have some sort of mental defect.
