They truly grabbed the first stocky Hispanic guy they saw, huh?

I pray that the handling of this case is not going to result in a worse outcome for Nancy.
They detained Carlos because a relative of his called in a tip saying that Carlos' eyes looked like the eyes of the guy in the video released by the FBI trying to break into the home of NG. According to the article, this was stated by Carlos.

It’s an interesting question. It could be items like coveralls, tapes, cable ties etc. Items to restrain her and secondary items to reduce the chances of transfer dna being left in the transport vehicle.
I’m wondering if there’s more suspects involved (and I think there is), camera suspect is the low man on the pole per se. He’s the carrier of supplies and an aid in moving a body? IMO

There was quite a bit of blood on the porch and even some trickling on to the concrete walkway. If it was a nose bleed then they would’ve had to stand there for at least a few minutes for that much to come out. The blood doesn’t make sense at all. MHO

Also, why even go up to the front door at all? Did he really think she would answer at nearly 2am when someone is blocking off the camera with some plant leaves? Then to leave through the front door is even more odd if he had forced entered through the back door. Based on the timeline, didn’t he spend around 30 minutes in the house with her?
I keep coming back to this—why the heck even mess with the front door if the back slider was also forced open? It seems like having multiple entry/exit points is much riskier.

Yeah, approaching the front door is really strange. I wonder if he was hoping the door would be unlocked and he wouldn’t have to go through much effort. Definitely seems like he was a bit bumbling and inexperienced.

I’d hope that would make it easy to catch him - he certainly doesn’t seem like a criminal mastermind - but it hasn’t so far. :/

I’m still shocked no dogs have been brought in for blood or even scent. But then again, they didn’t even tape off a crime scene at NG’s and have allowed reporters and a pizza guy to walk right up to the front door.
On the first or second day they brought in elite CBP canine teams to search for her/her scent.

And Savannah's considerable personal finances are well known and a potential motive.
And the SIL/BIL may have been having financial troubles, which can lead to arguments/emotionally charged situations.
And kidnappings for ransom revolve around money.
And murders often happen over

That's a fair amount of blood drops to just leave at your front door. Even if you got a sudden nose bleed and left it for later, I think most people would have hosed it off or mopped it up as soon as they could.
I'm on blood thinners and get nose bleeds all the time. I've left a trail of large drops from the front door through the house to the kitchen. Often my nose starts bleeding and I don't know it. I may realize it when it drips on my shirt, but I don't want to get it on my shirt, so I lean forward to keep my shirt clean. It makes tear drop shapes on my shirt, and when I lean forward, it makes big, round drops on the floor until I can grab a tissue or paper towel. When I go back to clean it up, I've sometimes stepped in it, too. I think she was carried, probably over the perp's shoulder leaving blood drops with nothing to staunch the flow. Also, no footprints in the blood, so again, they (perp and maybe NG) walked there before she bled there. If she was walking, she would have stepped in it, too. He may not have known she was bleeding behind him. Now, if he hit her on the head, I think she would have bled more. Head wounds do generally bleed a lot, and the blood thinners could have increased that flow. OR, if she was already deceased, the blood wouldn't have flowed, but what was there could have dripped. I don't think that's the case because it wouldn't have been a steady drip, drip, drip, with similar sized drops all through the house. Whatever they found inside hasn't been revealed by LE so everything is speculation. Even if she had the nosebleed earlier, t was already dark, so she probably wasn't going outside to clean it then. If she had realized it, she would probably ask the gardener or someone to clean it the next day or two.

What about her zimmerframe? I’m not sure if you use this word in the US but it’s one of these:
I am loving the term zimmerframe! My dad recently started using a walker after having the flu while he regains strength. I'm gonna have to tell him to call it a zimmerframe! Much more cool sounding than a walker

I say this respectfully, because you are a new user, but the things you keep repeating as fact are not. I would recommend spending some time on what has been confirmed already. I know this is a very fast moving thread but this is now the 7-8 post of yours where the information you are sharing doesn’t make sense with what we already know to be true. It confuses others.
Which part is supposed to be misleading?

Exactly. I'm not convinced he is a professional. May have been hired or may have planned this with another person or on their own. If he hasn't disguised his facial features, he may be recognized. His gun / holster is distinctive and may be recognizable to somebody. Same with the backpack.

His backpack was full so he had things in there that he planned to use or had in there in case he needed them. This wasn't a robbery. He didn't act as if he had anticipated a nest cam.
Also, who chooses to use a backpack with reflective material when committing a crime??? Going back to look at the full video, as the perp approaches the porch, the reflective material on the backpack straps is so bright that I thought he had two lights attached there!

The trolling really isn't funny. It's pretty disrespectful.

Was there any credibility to the $5 million was deposited late yesterday, or was that just rumor and conjecture?

Is it your opinion that there are multiple perps involved or just one?
It was an amount less than $300, possibly done to expose the account.

Or, as happens to my elderly mom, NG could have nicked her arm and few drops trickled down before she even noticed it. Especially if she doesn't regularly use the front door as her main entrance. She could have been out there trimming bushes, got her arm snagged by a thorny branch, and didn't notice it immediately. Maybe she only noticed it when she went back into the garage, for example, not realizing she had left a few drops on the front porch. This is my THEORY as to why the blood is there and why it isn't a part of the crime scene. Wouldn't LE have cordoned off the porch if it was related? Have you ever, say, nicked a knuckle that started bleeding but didn't realize it until way after the fact?

IMO
I thought we could see that clearly the blood is not there as the perp walks around.

So angry that our FBI is so incompetent. Guy makes minimum wage, going about his business, when he's surrounded by LE. Then they break down his MIL's door, throw everything around in a search. Whoops. Sorry about that. FBI agents make GOOD money, and they can't do their homework? This is America 2026. We deserve better. (Mod snip)
LE were following all tips after they released the video of the suspect in the disappearance of NG. Time was literally of the essence. Her life was, and may still be, at stake. If Carols' relative called in a tip about him, then LE did the right thing and followed up on the tip and apparently had a warrant to do so. They searched Carlos' car, home and garage, and didn't find Nancy. They would be remiss if they had ignored the tip.

It could’ve been something lighter, like a change of clothes?
Maybe. What makes me think he has the chest strap fastened is in the video how the completely full bag does not shift when he bends over. But 🤷‍♀️
It's not. You can see the empty female clip.
This looks very very close. However in the picture the fabric is off. Looks more fleece to me.
Cuffs are totally different. Int the above ou can see pleats from where the fabric was gathered around elastic much like how drawstring pants work.

In the video, you can see the polar fleece sleeve has a thin piece of elasticized fabric (no pleats) sewn on.

Also, not necessarily gray - the IR doesn't reflect color like visible light. Black can very easily appear light gray. Detergent can impact as well.

Yes, you are correct. I posted about that and have changed my mind.
