everything about this is just off.

perp looks ridiculous and facial hair looks painted
perp wearing layers of gloves disguising his hands or just protecting against rips in the outer glove
maybe 2 masks on this individual
why does his head look so huge? hair? beard? extra hats underneath?
entire person looks heavily layered
idiotic lantana gathering ( but resourceful to save his gloves from tearing as he rips off camera).
someone on here said they use those white holsters in Italian police dept? ( no link?)
perp seems too relaxed to be the only perp on the scene
did the perp proceed around back to break in or did someone else break in the back? when in the sequence did this guy show up?

Leaning towards this. If this was the plan, and she passed immediately from shock, could explain why the prep was in the house for so long. Awaiting further instructions? Freaking out and trying to figure out what to do with the body?

MOO
How long was he in the house for?

adding? is he wearing earphones under that mask? communicating with someone? mOO

It is part of the crime scene! It was tested for DNA. You can also see in camera footage that blood drops were NOT there when the perp was trying to take the Nest cam off. ***DNA tests showed blood on Nancy Guthrie's front porch was a match to her, and a doorbell camera was disconnected in the early hours of Sunday morning, the sheriff has said.*** Images show masked person on Nancy Guthrie's porch the night she went missing.
Yes, I now know this and also followed up my post with pictures re: same. Now my question is why LE didn't tape off the area in the first place? We know it wasn't taped off because the journalist, Brian Entin, was the one who walked right up to the porch and took a picture of the blood droplets, then broke the story.

Long term lurker :)

Such an odd case. I don’t know what to think. I do think LE needs to try and get control of the circus this is becoming. Even a press conference to review info already made public.

I mean, we went Nancy didn’t show up at church to Nancy only attended online church to Nancy was headed to a friends to watch online church.

Maybe they’re just holding everything close to the chest, but these little details matter IF they need a tip or lead from the public.

Maybe they don’t and they’re circling in on someone. Unfortunately, leaning away from that seeing how this week has gone.

Hope I’m wrong! This must be unimaginable for the family. Especially Savannah, who would have first hand knowledge of how cases can go unsolved due to mistakes early on in the investigation due to her previous reporting.

MOO
Agree. I also think they’re trying to put a damp on the media. I mean they’re telling them and the public that there’s nothing new to report. They’re asking for space to do their jobs. The media is in a frenzy over this, especially social media. There’s people following them in the desert. Watching them and reporting constantly. It’s pretty Understandable but if they don’t start to back off a bit I do think it’s going to backfire. After a certain amount of time people are going to get burnt out on this story. It’s sounds heartless but there’s a lot of major things going on in the world. Media is going to have to start balancing NG disappearance with the fact that they can’t keep her front and center on TV much longer without some potential public blowback. Public interest will wane. I hate even saying that but it’s true. I believe is estimated over 2000 people go missing everyday in the US. I wish nothing but the best for NG and her family. I know LEO/FBI and all the other people behind the scenes are busting their behinds. I think LE is currently trying to be as transparent with the public as they can But there is so much mass mis information and speculation being put out there at the moment by amateur reporters that I don’t see how it can not be hindering the investigation.
I truly hope they get a major break soon.

I’m still shocked no dogs have been brought in for blood or even scent. But then again, they didn’t even tape off a crime scene at NG’s and have allowed reporters and a pizza guy to walk right up to the front door.
Watching the LE search of the neighborhood yesterday I saw a woman with two dogs on leashes walking with the officers. She even had them sniff a shed at one of the locations.

This case is very chaotic and so exhausting.

Something isn’t adding up. An anonymous tip isn’t usually divulged to stir up drama like this. Also, I don’t believe you can get a search warrant for a home based on the shape of someone’s eyes.

So many things aren’t even making sense right now in this case. I’m not even sure releasing the security footage right away was a good idea. It’s wasting time when the public isn’t really going to recognize someone based on the pics given.
If he does delivery work in Tuscon, it's possible geo-fencing placed in near her home. That info plus the tip perhaps was enough? IDK

The guy is working two delivery-type jobs so makes sense his cellphone would show up in various places.

Don’t they know that we’re all just *right here, waiting to help*?!?!

Yes, the posters in this thread would be sure to have a treasure trove of excellent information to help:
  • She never made it back to the house
  • The SIL or one of his evil band members done it
  • She's hidden somewhere inside her own house
  • She's buried somewhere under her own yard
  • The perp took her away in her wheelchair
  • The perp took her away in her wheelbarrow
  • But what about her dog? Did they find her dog?

Yes, since there was a trail of her blood down the front walkway. 😕
It’s proven to be her blood. But could be a transfer, not primary.

There was quite a bit of blood on the porch and even some trickling on to the concrete walkway. If it was a nose bleed then they would’ve had to stand there for at least a few minutes for that much to come out. The blood doesn’t make sense at all. MHO

Also, why even go up to the front door at all? Did he really think she would answer at nearly 2am when someone is blocking off the camera with some plant leaves? Then to leave through the front door is even more odd if he had forced entered through the back door. Based on the timeline, didn’t he spend around 30 minutes in the house with her?
I didn't see him turn the door knob he may have tried the edge of door frame near the locks. why not see if the door was unlocked first? had he been there earlier?

So the suspect might return to the scene of the crime? Perhaps at night?

Or, as happens to my elderly mom, NG could have nicked her arm and few drops trickled down before she even noticed it. Especially if she doesn't regularly use the front door as her main entrance. She could have been out there trimming bushes, got her arm snagged by a thorny branch, and didn't notice it immediately. Maybe she only noticed it when she went back into the garage, for example, not realizing she had left a few drops on the front porch. This is my THEORY as to why the blood is there and why it isn't a part of the crime scene. Wouldn't LE have cordoned off the porch if it was related? Have you ever, say, nicked a knuckle that started bleeding but didn't realize it until way after the fact?

IMO
In the photos of the perp you can see there is no blood on the porch so it happened when she was taken.

With regards to the cameras, it's weird. The suspect walks up to the house hunched over, deliberately hiding his face, indicating he knows a camera is present. However he then straightens up, looks directly at it, thinks "oh, 🤬🤬🤬🤬" and realizes he's potentially being recorded, after which he grabs the brush to cover the lense. So on one hand, he's prepared but on the other, he isn't.

None of this makes sense.
Exactly. So weird.

If it is C, feels like they’d know pretty fast. His vehicles were seized and searched. He lives in a home with 7 people, he wasn’t bringing Nancy there. Their electronics were seized, so they’d know if he was transmitting Bitcoin requests.

It just doesn’t seem like it’s him. Also evidenced by them not finding anything to hold him on.
