It's insane that Pima County Sheriff’s Department says they’ve received more than 4,000 calls to tip lines and they decide to target some random guy in Rio Rico that was called in because he had similar eyes?? WTF. Doesn't give much confidence in these Fed agents so far...

They did not target this man b/c of his eyes. IMO

Maybe just think a little about how ridiculous it is to say that. They had a warrant and investigated a tip. Then questioned and released a poi. Nothing to do with his eyes. IMO

That is interesting and it's something I've been considering. Most people are sure this is motivated by money/ransom, and maybe it is, and probably still the most likely motive, but I'll say it doesn't fit the typical ransom case.

No clear line of communication. No proof of life. Why haven't they provided this by now? Why haven't they given some type of definitive proof they are the actual kidnappers? I mean, we're almost two weeks into this and LE still doesn't know with 100% certainty the ransom notes are from the actual kidnappers.

The fact that this case doesn't exhibit the usual steps that ransom cases take has left the door open for me that there is some other motive here. And one of those possibilities I wondered about was did Savannah Guthrie have some obsessed stalker fan... he went to that house expecting to kidnap Savannah and not her mother? He was surprised about who was inside, and then kidnapped her as some sort of demented consolation prize? This doesn't seem super likely either, because I figure if someone was after Savannah and didn't find her there, they'd just flee. But nothing about this case fits the typical makings of what you usually see in these types of cases.
I think the lack of communication and proof is because NG did not survive long after being taken, and he's panicking.

@JacobOwensTV

One other quote from a neighbor, Robert Reinhart, on what says law enforcement told him during the activity seen in Annie Guthrie’s neighborhood Tuesday. “I believe they said in case someone was tossing a camera from a car window, we’re looking throughout the whole neighborhood.”
If that's what the objective is then I might think they have some inkling of a vehicle and general direction of travel. It is possible that there is evidence of a vehicle leaving the area of NG's home. How far could you fling a small camera from a moving car? Makes you wonder if they have a list of things to be on the lookout for.

Everything is possible, but here's what I am thinking. If it was intended to be a robbery, why was nothing taken? Your average burglar would have grabbed her purse and some jewelry at the very least, and maybe some larger items like a flat screen TV if he had a large vehicle and some time to work. He would have subdued the victim with ropes/tape/zip ties and something over her mouth to keep her quiet, and left her at the scene. But... did she know the masked intruder? That would be the only reason to remove her from her home if robbery was his motive. Robbers rob. They don't want to kidnap or murder, IMHO.

This feels more personal. Is someone holding a grudge against NG or one of her family members? Does the kidnapper have some twisted agenda?

Someone upthread mentioned the potential of a crazed stalker. I mention it because it's in the realm of possibility, but it's not my favorite theory at this point. Note that I have been wrong many times.

Stating the obvious here, but kidnappings are rare in the 21st century in the US. Why NG? I hope we will have answers soon. And my prayers are with her family.

All MOO
Was this a hired hit? Anything is possible. It almost looks like it to me based on the guy at the door. Who knows?? Just a random thought after seeing the guy. He's dressed more like's on a home invasion robbery. Yet, we don't think this is a robbery. (TBH: I don't watch home invasion videos, but I know some of you guys do ;) )

I don't think it's a hired hit, but it almost "looks" like it.

Sorry if this has been posted before and sad to write this. I think the SIL is involved. I think she was taken and killed and hidden in.the desert. Why not in.the house? So the house would not be a murder/crime scene. Perhaps done for an early inheritance. MOO of course any thoughts?
It’s very difficult to not believe there is some tie to him when they keep going back to that area near their home. That tells us that there is something authorities are hung up on there or a piece of the timeline that isn’t super clear.

I can say that a missing body isn’t good for a quick inheritance settlement. It usually takes 7 years to deem someone dead without a body. However, I wonder if NG helped them out financially as they were close to her. Meanwhile, the other siblings moved away and do well for themselves. Maybe they needed a loan or to get out of financial trouble and NG declined help. There are so many things to consider, but the fact that SIL was the last to see her alive is enough to consider all potential motives.

Oh and one more thing, does anyone wonder why they would have their mother take an uber to their home only a few miles away?! If that’s the case, why not have her take both ways via uber? If I were to pick one way to drive, it would’ve been the earlier time, not the later. MOO I would never put my elderly mother in an uber to begin with if I lived that close!

It is crazy, but one video where he was interviewed, HE said, "They said my eyes looked like the guy on the video." I don't know who said that, or if that was the tip or if they (LE) really said that. If somebody called that in as a tip, I'd be visiting the caller, too.

If there’s no forced entry, how did he get NG to open the door? Maybe he said, “Hey, it’s so-and-so, and your (son, daughter, grandson) needs help (as in, accident or ill) - please come with me- I’ve been sent to get you” for example (only) and/or he identified as someone she knew so she opened the door

What were your sources for those assertions?
I was asking if anyone else heard something to this effect, about the $5 million and even stated so. I will go try to find where I heard this last night.

As for the blockchain guy...search my posts on this thread and you will find the source.

FAT logos, say the Ozark Trail triangle, North Face, etc - would show a bigger blur since the are larger and thus absorb more light. This looked like a couple of lines of text.
JMO, in the framegrab in this backpack comparison I posted yesterday, it looks exactly like the Ozark Trail logo. We're not allowed to post modified or enhanced images, but it's a bit easier to see if you bump up the contrast. This Ozark Trail bag I posted may not be the exact model (and who knows what color it is), but I think it's very close and to me that looks exactly like the logo, not just some text. You can see the angle of the mountain along the left side, then the river through the middle. MOO

They are not going in to feed the fish... LE is on some line of investigation that keeps them coming back to this house
Yes too much activity in and around AG's home. This visit looks a bit different the reel I watched several times via Fox showed items in a white (kitchen) trash bag as well as items contained within a brown grocery bag with handles. One of the people seemed interested in the mail box as well. Kinda looked like the family requesting certain items. But then I question why the family didn't send their privately employed investigator. Maybe the AG home is still under Pima Co control??

Taking an Uber during the day to a family home is perfectly normal IMO. Taking an Uber home to a visibly empty house after dark would seem much riskier to me. I don't find the one-way Uber at all suspicious. My father in law uses Uber extensively because he doesn't like to drive. My in laws who live closer appreciate him taking Uber for some of the trips for convenience. JMO.

No mention or link she has a wheelchair.

She CAN walk 50 yards. …a football field.

Moo…
Fantastic visual description for those of us who need a visual model to comprehend distance, thank you

Why is that strange? 1.) some people keep an outside light(s) on all night… not just motion lights. 2.) some people are night owls. 3.) it was a Saturday night, perhaps they were entertaining.
Would those lights pass the City of Tucson and Pima County Outdoor Lighting Code, designed to minimize light pollution and reduce energy waste?

There has been some discussion on the time stamp today. Apparently Kash Patel has narrowed the video the the 2-amish point (anyone have a link pls?) so the larger time window has also been narrowed down. Strange they never gave a timestamp or just announced the time up front but it seems they didn't know exactly so maybe a corruption on the server they dug deep to get to (remember that was mentioned in the initial press release).
BBM:
No, not Two Amish guys! 🤣
