Yes, criminals are generally pretty dumb, even those who think they’re smart. And, everybody makes mistakes (except for maybe DB Cooper). :)
Evidence suggests he did not survive his jump.

If you could ask LE/FBI any question about this case and receive an answer,
What would you ask?
I'd like to know what the ransom note said or what the house looked like inside.
I want to know if that front security door was locked when LE (or the family) arrived at the scene on Sunday. MOO the small area of blood droplets close together looks like she was stationary for a moment (why? someone holding her there while locking up?) If that door was locked, who has a key???

Regarding if Nancy ever made it home or not, considering the fact that LE called in a homicide unit on day one after apparently seeing the crime scene (page 1 in this thread), I think it's safe to assume that she made it home. in terms of video, nothing has been released or said.
That doesn't really make any sense to claim as a fact, just because they called in a homicide unit day 1 doesn't mean they actually believed she ever made it home, in fact by day 2 they had already begun searches in and around AG's home.

Not necessarily true. A Texas homeowner recently won under Texas ‘State’ Law. https://ij.org/press-release/victor...m-destroyed-her-home-while-pursuing-fugitive/

There are other cases out there of LE entering the wrong address, destroying property that homeowners are filing cases. Trina Martin, Atlanta, GA home was raided in 2017. The case went to the Supreme Court challenging governments responsibility in ‘honest mistakes’ in wrong-house raids. The court ruled last summer that they are entitled to compensation under the Federal Tort Claims Act.
Sure, but this was in Texas. And it took her FIVE years of battling with the courts to win the $59,656.59 in damages + interest. But most people don't live in TX (Texas has strong protections for private property rights) and have the means to fight it, especially lower income.

“It took five years, but Vicki is finally going to be made whole,” added IJ Senior Attorney Jeffrey Redfern. “She’s fortunate that Texas has such strong protections for private property rights, but people in much of the rest of the country aren’t so lucky.

I only know this because this happened to my own elderly FIL. A SWAT team broke down his door in the middle of the night with a battering ram looking for someone who didn't even live at his residence. They threw him down on the ground from his bed (he is disabled and elderly). They ended up leaving a mess after they realized he wasn't who they were looking for. He had a major bill to fix his own front door that had been torn down. I was shocked when I found out it had to come out of his own pocket.

Are there smaller or private threads for cases?

BE said they were nitrile gloves and the box he held up as an example were Kinco; Idk if he said they knew that was the brand or he just knew they were nitrile and he picked a random brand as visual aid.

I am familiar with the use of these in the workplace and I agree they would likely not hold their shape for any length of time. They crumple easily, although I'm surprised the glove in the pic has an identifiable shape after being pulled off.
I wear disposable vinyl gloves for everything. I'm a serial hair dyer. I wear gloves whenever I dust or clean. We have nitrile gloves too. Nitrile is recommended when handling paint thinner or solvents and are a bit sturdier than vinyl and cost a bit more. Hubby prefers nitrile. My hair dresser wears nitrile.

Has anyone considered that the images they released from the door camera are NOT THE ONLY IMAGES they have from the camera? It is likely the battery operated on the camera long after it was removed from the mount. I'm guessing that LE has pictures from that camera showing it in scrub somewhere and THAT is why they were looking in Folks yards yesterday and in NG's yard today. They would know the camera was discarded, in scrub, and how soon after it was removed from the mount, so that narrows the distance it could be significantly. Just a thought, fwiw, IMHO.
CNN announced yesterday when the images were released that they were not the only images.

A law enforcement source close to the Guthrie investigation says they are familiar with the brand of backpack the suspect was wearing, possibly an Ozark Trail Hiker, and are looking into it and other brands.

What tattoo? I haven't seen one in the photos, nor have I seen any official reference to a tattoo? Are you able to cite a source?
This is what I posted earlier today: Some men tattoo their wrist with a cross. When they extend their arm, the cross is placed as seen in copied pic. Looking at perp’s wrist, I’m wondering if I see a cross due to the spacing from top to mid-section? EDIT TO ADD: the picture on left is from a Forbes news article, I did reference that in my initial post.

This would not be a “wrong-house raid”. An example of that would be if they accidentally went to CP’s neighbor and kicked in their door. This house was the house they were targeting and had a search warrant for. They had legal authority to be there and execute the warrant. Complete apples and oranges with the examples given.

That being said, agencies have also gotten much better about reimbursing for repair costs as a result of these court hearings. So there’s a good chance at getting repairs at least partially covered, especially if it turns out there was no evidence of the specified crimes at the location.

She had to have been abducted from her home; there's no other rational explanation for the liquid blood trail at the front door and down the sidewalk. It wasn't there at the time of the doorbell cam footage released yesterday.
It would be difficult to collect and place blood at a scene later because it would coagulate.
She obviously exited her front door.
And was her front door locked? If it was, who locked it and how?

What information did they get that sent them back to NG's house and roof, when they found another camera.

Yes- i've said very early on that PCSD calling off search efforts after a day was a bad idea. Even if they thought a crime was committed from the get-go NG could've been abandoned somewhere quickly out in the desert.

I understand LE resources are limited and they probably started focusing on the ransom, but there are plenty of people who'd be willing to help conduct grid searches. If NG is somewhere out in the desert- 10 days later isnt a good outlook.

JMO
I agree. Looking next to nearby dirt desert roads, and roads up into the nearby hills.
It’s possible NG was quickly taken out car, placed somewhere hidden, but not that far away. They wouldn’t want to drive around long with her in the car.

Or they might have thrown out their clothes other evidence nearby, I hope LE looked in all nearby dumpsters.

I know the desert is vast, and ruthless weather, hot and dry, even at this time of year.

I read about LE looking beside roads today, good start.

I’m really surprised the gas station cameras have not revealed a vehicle. Time period was middle of night, not that much traffic.

All, JMO

Very interesting interviews by Brian Entin of a former homicide detective of Pima county aswell as a retired under sheriff of Pima county, who also worked with sheriff Nanos.
They give their professional view on the case.
Worth to watch IMO

Is this the same guy they detained yesterday or there is another driver today?
Same guy. He was pulled over and detained while doing DD deliveries w his wife and kids in the car south of Tucson.

He worked for GLS delivering in a van all week in Tucson and said "he might have delivered to her house" regarding NG in an interview, so his phone likely pinged.
