I think the possibility of a political motive can't be ruled out. The fact that SG called Senator Mark Kelly before anyone raises some questions with me. He's currently under political attack of his own and being made an example of by the current administration. His wife was also violently targeted by a deranged individual who killed several others. It could just be because they are close and she trusts him. But, on the other hand, could there have been something left in the house that indicated to her that this was a politically motivated crime? Was she seeking his advice? Fearful of who to trust?

There’s more going on than what is publicly known, said my peace hundreds of pages ago. She is by no means to blame for anything but I’ve always believed its related to SG. Willing to be wrong and most likely am but I think she’s connected somehow, even loosely. SG moderated 2 governors speaking on political extremism in Dec 2025. Nothing is beyond the realm of possibility at this point. MOO

He was staring down and walking slowly so as not to trip coming up to the porch and when confronted with the camera he incompetently just held his fist partially in front of it. He could have just placed his thumb over the lens while he examined how to remove it. Then backtracks to look for something, finally a plant, to cover the lens.

Someone said that the holster was not the correct size for the gun either, so it’s not clear he knew what he was doing with that either.

Holster was made for a revolver. Gun was not a revolver.

And, on the subject of the eyes:

As anyone in the Performing Arts, who is familiar with the language of "head shots", can tell you:

The suspect's eyes might be classified as "upturned" or "almond" -- shaped.

In addition, anyone in the Performing Arts can tell you:

a) the shape of the eyes can be changed temporarily by any head garb that pulls back the hair. (esp. pulled tightly)
b) the shape of the eyes can be changed by one, two, or certainly 3 masks that are worn on the face, pulled/or/pressing tightly, on the cheekbones esp.

This unfortunately means, the suspect's eyes may look quite differently-shaped, in "real-life", thus making him harder to identify by someone who knows him well.

I’m sure they’ve done a lot of detailed forensic work in that respect but have not released anything as such to the public to date.

Using publicly available tools, I decided to create a prompt and give it a novice try. NOTE that these are hypothetical images to guess at features and do not represent the likenesses of any specific individual.

Pretty much! I just got done at The facebook, Pima County Sheriffs page and went bck and listened to EVERY press conference from day 1. I had to hook up some headphones to hear every word because he speaks too low. He's changed time a few times . This time period to me is crucial and should be reported accurately.
There's a big difference between making a 911 call in almost 1 hour and one in 5-7 minutes

In either case, it would be hard to get a grip on anything, much less get a finger in the trigger guard of the gun. It's a very odd choice. You can see him fumbling when he handles the doorbell cam then goes to pick up the latanas. If he was confronted with an armed defender he would be at a great disadvantage drawing and handling a firearm w/ those gloves on.

I actually use these gloves in my workshop for cleaning guns, or using harsh solvents for stripping/refinishing firearms (using Acetone, M.E.K. and other chemical strippers). They are hella cumbersome.

We use these at work for MEK use as well and I agree completely about how cumbersome they are. I cannot imagine anyone thinking they would be a good idea to use if you needed any dexterity. I'd have a hard time turning a doorknob wearing them, pulling a trigger would be impossible.

I think such an overall scenario is possible. Perhaps:

- A distant relative, fictionally named "Bad news Barbara" has approached the victim for years for cash using references to: Faith in God and love of family, confusing bad luck stories, tear jerker sob stories and.... even a dash of raw intimidation.

- The Fictional Bad News Barbara world changes when she is cut off-cold turkey. She then recruits the fictional "Bill"- her 2X ago boyfriend whom she still likes- sort of, and maybe another accomplice promised "bands of cash".

- Their over all plan is vague. "Bill" goes James Bond and disables the cameras. The trio then arrive at the house. Start with an intimidating hard luck story and see what the victim is good for. As an alternative, they intend to "borrow" any bling and the bands of cash that rap legend and lore dictates that the wealthy must possess.

- The victim, however, refuses to cooperate and the intimidation is dialed up. Intimidation turns to anger when there is none of the imagined bling and cash. Feeling shame at being out manuvered by an elderly victim, the trio then does something impulsively, and horribly violent.

- After concealing the body, the trio is then amused and relieved when unknown, but fellow criminal "pig butcherers" opportunistically start sending false ransom notes and bit coin instructions?

Has anyone considered that the images they released from the door camera are NOT THE ONLY IMAGES they have from the camera? It is likely the battery operated on the camera long after it was removed from the mount. I'm guessing that LE has pictures from that camera showing it in scrub somewhere and THAT is why they were looking in Folks yards yesterday and in NG's yard today. They would know the camera was discarded, in scrub, and how soon after it was removed from the mount, so that narrows the distance it could be significantly. Just a thought, fwiw, IMHO.

I appreciate you trying to learn more about the method and place of entry into NG's home because to me it seems like such a wild card question, given how large the home is, it's all one floor - who's to say the perps even went through a door? Could have been a window. Or multiple entry points. I don't think we even know if she has a security system and if so, how it operates (just movement in the home, just open/closing doors, windows?, was it on that night in its full capacity? sometimes people leave them off/forget especially on a late night). Broken into or keys/codes used? Entries already unlocked? Happens a lot where I grew up, less likely in Tucson I would imagine.

The weirdest thing about the Nest cam footage we've seen, to me/MOO, is that they were even at the front door, given all the other possibilities.

Yes, don't they have security cameras, alarm systems and sensor flood lights in that area? Home that size in the UK would be fully kitted out IMO

NG is his constituent. It's not strange for SG to gather information, support, and resources in a time of distress. If you know a Senator, you call a Senator.

If this was a random robbery then they didn't need to and wouldn't take NG imo. There are reports nothing was stolen from the house so that tells me NG was the target all along.
So with NG gone who gains something? Ilthere was pre planning involved in terms of disguise and the time of day this took place etc. I really still think this a crime by someone known to her even if they outsourced help with committing it.

I am actually suspicious because they cleared him. They haven’t cleared even the family officially but they cleared this guy and let him go after a brief chat with him? He is now my top suspect just because of that. They could be waiting to see if he leads them to Nancy

Yes but it seems that this isn't going well at all at this point how much longer do you give LE on their own. And SG hopefully has access to some better people, maybe retired FBI or recent people who left.

Yes and SG realizes the clock is ticking in terms of her mother's life. There is only a small window of time and perhaps SG doesn't want to waste one more day trusting LE/FBI.
