I see nothing that even closely resembles a tattoo. This is reaching pretty far. He has long sleeves and gloves that go past the wrist. That part of his arm was not visible.
I thought it might be these:

What if the bitcoin "hoaxer" wasn't really a hoaxer, and the texts to TC were real about getting their cut? $5-6 million right away would work. just speculating fwiw.
IF that is the case I think he'd hand over those working with him for a better deal.

Another great interview by Brian Entin. This former homicide detective described Sheriff Nanos has having an "exorbitant ego". He is very critical of Nanos past and present handling of this case.
Zipping my lips overalll but I do agree with this person’s opinion. Just from what I’ve known

That’s definitely the cross pattern; different sizes but that is on his skin. The cream color that you see in pic is part of sweater under the jacket, fleece maybe.

Do you not think her blood on the sidewalk proves she made it home?
It wasn't there when the masked perp was goofing around with the doorbell well after midnight.

when exactly was the video of the "intruder"(s) time stamped? and...we all know timestamps can be manipulated...

The problem with both the black glove found at the side of the road and the purported 911 call to report finding a ski mask is that BOTH these items were found the day after the video showing both gloves and the mask were released.

The timing is highly suspect.
People are idiots. They love to pull what they think are haha, very funny pranks.
I think the glove and ski mask are both bogus.

Just like I think the ransom demands are bogus.

Yet more crap LE has to waste their time and manpower investigating and ruling out.

JMO.
Right, I find it hard to believe something so blatantly suspicious and close would be missed this long. I want to be wrong, I want it to be the break we need... but I doubt it. No prank is funny when someone's life is on the line.

definitely something there, but the only thing that's clear to me is that it's a well-defined, linear feature. could be part of a tattoo, whether a cross or something else. could also be a seam on the sleeve of a shirt he's wearing underneath. maybe even part of a watch?

Could be that these items were found before the video came out. When they saw the video they knew they had seen similar items and reported it.

The optimistic me says maybe they ignored it as trash b/c they didn't they handn't seen the video yet?

I know there are the little strip
Ones but there are the more standard size sweatband. I'm assuming since this person made quite an effort to disguise face, they would not allow a wrist area tattoo to be exposed. I could not find a glove with a cross on the inside wrist area. Only these sweatband things.

Occam’s Razor is really pointing to a kidnapping for ransom now. There is the footage of the perp. There are the multiple asks for ransom. What is complicating things is the amount of press and scrutiny this thing is getting and the number of LE, FBI and private agents involved. That is creating some hoax ransom demands that are getting mixed up with the real ones. Plus the real kidnappers are probably scared of being busted if they share too much info like a voice or video recording. They know the whole country is looking for NG now.

Exactly it is illogical.
Bottom line is to leave SIL and C out of this. Back to point zero in the investigation. No reason for the abduction. No where to look. No vehicle. No suspect(s). Does not appear to be related to SG or the Olympics. And Bitcoin seems bogus.

Plenty of people don’t have DNA in CODIS. I’d venture most people, actually.

True, but there are ways around that.

Has anyone in LE mentioned items were taken from the home?

Speaking of ignored... Does anyone know if that blue shirt near NG's walkway ever got collected/addressed by LE?

The whole outfit was rag-tag, not professional and "off". It seemed cheap and makeshift, so maybe a desperate person, poor, very inexperienced, or whacko.

--Cheap $5 bin holster that profiled for a longer revolver, yet he had dark what looks like late gen poly semi auto in it.
--Awkward open-carry low handing version of appendix carry when he approached the door.
--$15 Ozark trail backpack from Walmart with reflective strips that glow on IR night cameras!!
---Thick nitrile or butyl gloves that made him fumble when picking up the latanas/disabling doorbell cam and would be useless if he had to quickly use his gun.
--Mouth light that transfers saliva

Some experts have insinuated this is all amateurish and off cause, well, the guy is probably off.

Edit: it almost comes off like an edgy teenager cosplaying kidnapper the way it's thrown together. and i am not convinced he had a real firearm in there. Could be a replica or airsoft, displayed to threaten an old lady and would explain why it was awkwardly stuffed in a discount bin pistol holster.
Thank you StM. This coincides with my idea that this is a teen male or perhaps young 20's. A mixture of male and female in terms of appearance. Also his inexperience and poor judgement. Lack of funds. Clothing second hand, thrift shop, etc.

Also the disconnect from his no worry attitude and the serious crime he was about to commit.

My work background is in mental health so I have been thinking about that piece of it. Is this guy mentally ill in some way. Or suffering from some intellectual impairment.

This may be a strange question, but the way he has positioned the (pretend?) gun seems like a red flag to me from a clinical perspective. Right in front of his crotch. Is this a normal placement for a gun? If so, why would someone do that? What does it mean or signify?

Clinically of course it raises questions.

yes. They have been there at least twice
Have you a link to what happened? Were they just in the house or the grounds? Did they go to AGs house? The cars?

I agree. It looks more like a piece of the glove like a darker line or pattern. I don’t see tattoo at all, but I am new here. I love reading every possible option.
