Only thing about mechanics habitually using mouth lights is that they have many metal surfaces to mount magnetic lights on, and typically use those instead (in my experiences with them generally and in working on cars sometimes myself).

However, HVAC, electricians, plumbers, pest control, etc. would likely need a light like this in the atypically visited and cramped locations they often find themselves around a home or business.

And this person seems very comfortable using it which would mean they use it regularly...again the type of work performed in the area or at her house could be helpful in narrowing some things down.

In the close up picture it really looks to be the seam and I see nothing unusual about the eyes to indicate mascara - looks like my lashes without mascara.. plenty of men I know have thick eyelashses. The mustache in the close up looks legit to me too in that frame ...jmo

I thought the thin eyebrow appearance is because the mask ( clear translucent) under the ski mask, partially blocks the view of eyebrows. I could be wrong, just a thought.

i kinda see something black swing in front of his waist for a split second at the 11 second mark, but hard to tell what it is. if anything. :/

Thoughts & questions about the videos/stills of the guy at NG's door:
With/without the backpack -- possibilities:

• Did he look into the entryway that night, see the nest doorbell, and then return with his head down and his pack full of burglary/kidnapping/murder tools, planning to disable it? (If so, he didn't think ahead about how he would do that & also shield his face, leading to the flowers.) Someone here also suggested he might be part of a cleanup crew.
• Or did he stop by days in advance with the same goal, just on a longer timeline?

Why was he wearing hs backpack while disabling the camera? Possibilities:

• Maybe he planned to immediately go around the side of the house and break in that way. (Though what about the cameras there?)
• Maybe he thought an associate would open the door from the inside.
• Maybe he planned to pick the lock once the camera was disabled. Maybe he had some sort of key.
• Problems with expecting an "associate on the inside" to open the door-- he may have glanced at someone when getting the greenery. If so, would that person have had time to get in & then let him in? That said, once the camera was disabled, maybe he could wait there in leisure. Or was there one person to the side and one inside?

Question: In this video from the FBI, what's the guy doing with his left hand as he first reaches up with his right hand to block the camera?

The backpack
Thanks to those here who said it was an Ozark or similar. If so:

• A cheap backpack. Not very good. No waist belt -- not good for heavy loads.
• The Ozark has a sternum strap, which may be what we see hanging down. It looks kind of long for a sternum strap, but who knows. (The sternum strap can stabilize a pack & help some with weight.)
• Assuming it was a sternum strap, he wasn't wearing it. Maybe after peering into the entryway, he went back and hastily threw on the pack. Maybe he never uses the sternum strap.
• Even if it's 25 liters, not very big. Things that could make it look full -- a sweatshirt & light jacket OR A tarp. OR materials for a kidnapping or murder. OR burglary materials, including some large sacks for loot.

Curious if the FBI first asked CP if he's right or left handed?
Or remained silent about it and watched his movements.
I gather they had a security camera on him wherever he was held for the first 2 hours.
Did they offer him a bottle of water, or leave one for him then saw him reach for it ?

Seems like a totally normal thing to find in a portapotty on a construction site? The gloves are also not the type seen on the Nest footage. Also, why are reporters going into random toilets?

Why would someone try to scare her as previously reported? Why abduct her on a weekend? Those are major clues because it's hard to get a large amount of money when banks are closed and the people involved May have day jobs.

The timing could have something to do with SG being scheduled to travel to Italy to cover the Winter Olympics perhaps. Just guessing. They might have thought they could collect a ransom quicker if SG wasn’t out of the country. Just a random thought I’ve had.

according to the FBI website, arrests for robbery and murder are over 80% male.

the odds of it being a woman are astronomically low. the build does not suggest woman at all, nor does the gait. not to mention the height, you can tell from the video he's tall. there was a great post a few pages back estimating the height to be between 5'10"-6' of course there are women who are that tall but the odds of it being a woman at all, let alone one over 5'10" are just... so extremely low.

i can't understand why so many people always speculate it's a woman in these types of crimes. i know this crime is already extremely unusual and weird, but it being committed by a woman on top of all that... i have a better chance of winning the lottery.

There are women who murder and kidnap. There are women who are 5'10. The stats that were reported are incorrect. Women account for 24%. This isn't a small percentage . It is almost a quarter.

IF this is the same guy, this is happening before he'd get to nancy's house, we believe, right? maybe trying to find a place to stash it with plans to return to it after taking her so he wouldn't have to bring two big backpacks?

I think he's alone. If you watch closely when he approaches the gate, I can see the gun holster swing out from his waist. He also has his jacket unzipped and places his hand at his waist a couple of time, probably because the gun keeps swinging out. I think it's the same dude. It's at the 10-11 second part. It can’t be the same person. This video was recorded at the same time the other guy was at NG’s house.

Even beyond that the jacket is different, neither backpack is the ozark trail backpack, and his build is different.
