It can’t be the same person. This video was recorded at the same time the other guy was at NG’s house.

Even beyond that the jacket is different, neither backpack is the ozark trail backpack, and his build is different.
If you look at Harvey Levins video right above talking about this — the timestamp for the perp at NG’s is 2:12. So that gives this person 19 minutes to drive 5 miles to NG’s house and suit up. Odd things going on with backpacks that hour - that’s for sure. Weird coincidence— but could be.

Well, there always has been that mysterious 2:12 am time stamp where the camera "picked up a person" but LE always said there was no video of it. Until now.
Does this mean the “1:47 am doorbell camera disconnects” entry has been removed from the timeline? Some clarification would be nice.

Traced to Walmart meaning Walmart sells them. Not traced in the sense they have a person who bought those items in the Tucson store. 🙄
They could've ordered online too

Thank you for this, and welcome back.
That business card has been weighing heavily on my mind. Now that I've read your post, I wonder if NG had a recent doctors appointment, or possibly an issue at her financial institution(s)? Someone may have reached out to APS on her behalf and they came to visit her. Would there be a file under her name at APS if the case were in the very beginning stages?
I wonder, too, if this is why her church friend was so worried about her that morning.
IMO.
I asked AI, and they might make a visit if someone was reported missing.

ohhh great thinking.

IF this is the same guy, this is happening before he'd get to nancy's house, we believe, right? maybe trying to find a place to stash it with plans to return to it after taking her so he wouldn't have to bring two big backpacks?

just speculating, IMO, etc.

The camera footage is from 5 miles away. So in 15 minutes he’d geared himself up and driven that distance? I don’t think so.

May it's an accomplice.

Only thing about mechanics habitually using mouth lights is that they have many metal surfaces to mount magnetic lights on, and typically use those instead (in my experiences with them generally and in working on cars sometimes myself).

However, HVAC, electricians, plumbers, pest control, etc. would likely need a light like this in the atypically visited and cramped locations they often find themselves around a home or business.

JMO.
IMO HVAC, electricians, plumber would have headlamp (probably actually jobsite lighting systems) vs a bite-light. Those jobs are about illuminating the job until completion not turning your flash light on and off to accomplish the task.

i kinda see something black swing in front of his waist for a split second at the 11 second mark, but hard to tell what it is. if anything. :/

but what i don't understand is what he's even doing over the fence. it's not like he's taking or handing the backpack to someone else because he holds onto the same bag the entire time. maybe hanging it over the fence for someone else to put something in it? weird.
He's obviously using it to do something. At first I thought... He's using it like a flashlight, but thought just using a flashlight would be SO much easier and lighter than holding up a backpack with a light attached.

Since I get the gut feeling there was a reason for him doing that, I think it's a spy backpack. They come with hidden cameras. I'm not saying it's this backpack, this is for informational purposes only. I don't see where the cameras are. They aren't pointed out on this particular website.

The 360° Hidden Camera Backpack offers full surveillance with two hidden cameras (front and back) that record in Full HD 1080p . Connect them to ESPIAMOS® spy phones to covertly record from all angles.

The 360° Hidden Camera Backpack is the perfect choice for those looking for a discreet and complete surveillance solution. Thanks to its two hidden cameras, you can record from any angle without raising suspicion. Its functional design and integration with ESPIAMOS® spy phones ensure that each recording is made with the highest quality. Ideal for public events, meetings, audits or personal security , this backpack is an essential tool for high-quality covert recordings.

"Detectives have come twice and asked us for our names and who we are and so on and what kind of cars we drive, and if we have a truck," neighbor David Romano told NBC News correspondent Liz Kreutz for TODAY on Feb. 12."

"Neighbors also mentioned a possible gray truck in the area, though no make, model or license plate information has been provided."

1.52 am and 5 miles from NG house is very interesting.
It also appears he has something in his mouth or places something in his mouth? This guy appears a thinner build than suspect at NG’s. Could the other backpack include extra clothing to “beef” him up a bit? In the unblurred video it kinda looks like he’s wearing one of those latex masks. IMO

And again the time stamps may not be accurate...they would need to be validated/synced to see the true time differernce

Why January the 11th?

Completely agree.

It seems like they’ll need a confession or similar in hopes someone takes a deal before it goes to trial.

Even in that case, not sure it would stand up to an appeal.

What a nightmare.
Hopefully, their primary focus is locating Nancy - and the prosecution's needs are secondary.

I’d agree that the attacker then had his hands full anyway you look at it.

And he sure didn’t want to be caught with that gear so throwing it out randomly might have seemed to him his best bet for disposal under the circumstances.

imo
Long ago, in conjunction with my job, I talked with local LE. Included in one discussion was that in the event of a robbery, their department traveled nearby roads to look for objects that had been tossed. IIRC within 7 miles was the distance perps often tossed say, ID of the homeowners, paperwork, etc.

That conversation came back to me when I read through the incredible story of Alan Lee Phillips, who after killing two women on the same night, got stuck in a mountain pass and rescued. As I recall, he had dumped some of the women's info on the road behind him. It was decades before he was identified as the killer.

So, perhaps throwing items away fairly near the crime is often done?

Why January the 11th?
I think a pp indicated there was an attempted burglary around that date in the neighborhood...I believe it was posted this AM I'd have to review alot of posts back though...
