The Police / FBI will always have more information and be further along then we know / think. If they have a 'definite' suspect, they won't say so until they've got an 'iron clad' case. This case has already demonstrated that with security photos / video.

This is kinda turning into a shitshow. They’re causing a lot of confusion just trying to be the FIRST one to break new info, when come to find out it’s not even true. MOO

I don't believe in coincidences; that backpack looks identical to the perps on NG’s front porch. Notice the back of it when he’s flipping it around to the pic of perp’s backpack on NG’s porch – it’s just as taunt. There’s no reason anyone should be in an alleyway trying to get into another’s back yard. Why are they blocking the alleyway perps face?

It would be nice, but I don’t believe the two are related.

For the man in that video to be the masked man, he would have had to disable that front camera, get in his car, and drive no less than 60 miles an hour the entire way there. No lights, no stop signs, no surface streets. The timeline make is virtually impossible.

I’m sure the official time line is that the masked man disables camera at 1:47-48.

Yea I agree his body language is a little off but I imagine he's in shock. Being detained, now you have a gaggle of reporters at your house, you're trying to defend yourself while also being confused about what's going on. He may be a little cagey but that doesn't mean he's guilty. IMO

I feel so heartbroken for Savannah and family. Her Dad passed from a heart attack when NG was only in her 40’s with 3 children to raise. SG was the youngest at 16 years old.

Yes I usually tend to err on the side of benefit of doubt with people in these scenarios unless they do something super outlandish. Although I think I might react a certain way, I have no real idea how I'd react until I'm in the situation (& I hope to never find out)

since Harvey confirmed the video of the suspect on the porch camera was at 2:12, was the “camera disconnecting” caused by cutting power to the house and deactivating internet? My parents house was burgled last year and they cut the power to the house prior to deactivate their alarm and the police said it happened often(this is in Vegas). That may explain why the perp is so nonchalant walking up to the camera, and then realized its battery operated and still recording.

This was mentioned earlier in the thread (with a link), but one of the neighbors was talking to a news guy (sorry I cannot remember which one at this point, and said on camera that LE was asking to look at his home cameras for footage from midnight the night of the crime, which would be two+ hours earlier from when I think they believe someone was abducting Nancy.

Interview with Annie Guthrie’s neighbor. Investigators were checking his camera footage from January 31st around midnight.

Has anyone here compared the single photo of suspect without the backpack and holster to the videos and still of them wearing both? The shoes look a bit different. It almost seems like there’s a black strip on the shoes of the suspect without the backpack that I don’t seem to notice on the suspect that actually walks up to the door.

That photo was altered by the FBI to give a clearer shot of the clothing

I keep thinking about Nancy's hearing aids (it is referred to as "hearing aid" in the mentions we've seen).

I brought this up last night and I keep coming back to it.

Most people wear two hearing aids, not one. I would be shocked if she was only prescribed one.

It occurred to me at some point, what if she grabbed one of them to try to identify a sound outside and stuck it in her ear.

There was one found (left behind?).

What if the other one was in her ear when she was abducted.

All this leads to the following - my app has a "FIND MY" feature. Note: I've removed all identifying information.

Before I tried this experiment I had my hearing aids OUT and hadn't opened the actual app for a few days. It still showed that the last place both hearing aids were known to be was inside this house on February 9. I think you can see where I'm going with this. It's an obscure/thought idea and it would depend on a lot of things, but if there is ONE hearing aid on her body, it might provide a clue to where she was at some point.


I'm editing to add what they look like when they are disconnected (not in my ears). The app still seems to know where they are. Of note: they are fully charged so I don't know what happens if one or both would be no longer charged.
