I've also seen plural "aids" written
Thanks for that. I've not seen that and it blows my theory out of the water.

I did just tell my husband that in the wild chance that I'm ever abducted, don't forget my hearing ads are like the "find my" feature on the phone.

"Most people wear two hearing aids, not one. I would be shocked if she were only prescribed one."
This is untrue, most people are often deaf or hard of hearing in one ear only and therefore would only need one aid
"If you have hearing loss in only one ear and normal or nearly normal hearing in the other, then one hearing aid is all you need. But most people have hearing loss in both ears, especially if the loss is age-related."

I hate that TMZ interjects, but we have been grasping at straws all along so might as well take the news with a grain of salt and think about it. UGH

I don't know why the h TMZ is releasing this stuff. It's just going to encourage others. Like just give it to the family, quietly pay the damn guy, what's one bitcoin to them to take a chance at this point, do not advertise it, do not share it with media, do not publish the wallet address, do not let media report on whether that bitcoin wallet address has "activity" or not. Everyone literally needs to button it up. Unless the whole point of this entire kidnapping was media distraction, in which case they are greatly succeeding. (I don't even think that's the motive, but that's the only thing that makes sense about continuing this circus.)
It's like TMZ is going for ratings.

are we sure about the relative timings of the two bits of footage? no errors or misunderstandings like "this timestamp is just when it uploaded to the server", etc.?

i don't think we know really anything for certain... about anything lol

Because he's not a suspect.
Exactly you can't just start blasting the face all over of some random guy bc he had a backpack and was in Tuscon that night....

That photo was altered by the FBI to give a clearer shot of the clothing
I thought so too and in fact I posted that yesterday saying it was an altered pic from FBI. It was given so people had a better impression of the suspects stature without the backpack. Several posters commented that I was wrong and it was an additional photo from the same night. I don’t know what to believe?

TMZ needs to go back to reporting on the Kardashians. They’re just trying to insert themselves into this case for clicks now.

What on earth is going on at this point. It's getting insane at this point
The area where this video was shot is worlds away (poor area) from the foothills where Nancy lives. I don't think it has anything to do with Nancy Guthrie.

TMZ is reporting that the video of the guy dismantling NG's Nest camera took place at 2:12 a.m.

"The man in the new video is trying to enter a locked gate, to no avail. He was recorded on a resident's Ring camera at 1:52 AM. Now, when law enforcement held a news conference last week, they said Nancy's Nest camera disconnected at 1:47 AM ... and, at 2:12 AM, the camera software detected a person. The video the FBI released of the man approaching Nancy's door does not have a time stamp. Sources directly connected to the investigation tell TMZ ... that video of the man at Nancy's door was recorded at 2:12 AM -- in other words, he's the person the software detected."

This is interesting.

How was he on film at 2:12 a.m. if the nest cam was disconnected at 1:47 a.m.?

Does it continue to record whether disconnected or not?

In other words who knows how much footage and what all was recorded on that camera? Holy crap!

Would they have had the DNA back from inside the house yet?

I really wish they would do a presser.

Because he's not a suspect.
I would assume since homeowner likely provided it that this would be illegal trespass, would that still not be enough reason to post actual video. I understand that still wouldn't mean they were a suspect, but...

I'll see if I can find where that info came from but for instance you can see he has no face because of the alteration. It looks like they removed the gun and backpack.
