I still cannot get past the question of WHY? If nothing was stolen; ransom messages probably fake;
then someone or some persons went to a LOT of trouble to kidnap an 84-year old woman with health issues. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?
Because she knows them. JMO

I think they blurred his face because he has not been identified as having anything to do with the crime. His presence in the area and the backpacks might just be a coincidence.

I find it odd though there just happened to be a guy casually wandering around the area carrying two backpacks at 2 in the morning...

As always, JMO
Tucson has 500,000 plus population and metro area has 1 million plus (NG lives in the metro area, not the city)
In a city of this size, this is to be expected.

His explanation for the behavior could be innocent. He could have been visiting someone who frequently has a gate unlocked, but then finds it locked. It's actually very, very, very common! Anyone who lives in a gated apartment can attest to this.

Or maybe he frequently takes short cuts through the area and this time it's locked.

Why would a thief enter through the front door? Was the door unlocked? Which door did they exit from? Which door had the blood on it front or back?
We know a suspect was at the front door and disabled the nest cam and that it's likely they took NG out through the front door because of the NG's blood. We don't know that they entered through the front door.

They completely smashed a back outside light so perhaps they went in through the back. MOO

Why do you think the ransom notes are not real? Kidnapping for ransom is the most likely answer. And they covered up fully because it was only an abduction, not a murder. So they wouldn’t want her to recognize them and report them after she was released.

-It is hard to say what happens when adrenaline kicks in.
-I don't know what younger women are told these days.
-But older women were told that once you get into a car with a captor, you will soon be dead. So always fight hard before you get in that car. You have nothing to lose. So that is what I would do.
Yes! My mom has always said if they take you off and kill you, you might never be found. So fight like hell right where you are so they have to do what they're going to do right there. 😢

The Today Show page is reporting that LE is asking neighbors for doorbell cam footage for the first time. Just now? Really?

The description of the suspect just released by the FBI is pretty vague. Almost a "why bother?"

Feels like a botched investigation.

In the video, did we ever see the person try the doorknob? I don't think so. Word has it that she didn't lock the door. Perp likely knew that.

So many mixed signals. Gloves looked layered and padded. Seems that would be difficult to operate a gun, rob a house, manhandle or kill someone. This person couldn't have acted alone.

Seems that consensus is that the video perp is a novice. I'm not so sure. The impression of layered clothing, gloves, and masks to hide persona seems to have been pretty effective. I also think that the person played with their gait to try to disguise it. Sometimes it looks mincing, sometimes rather masculine.

People say that they were surprised by the camera, but it also looks like they were trying to keep their face away from it originally. All mixed signals.u
Yes,it feels like a,botched investigation--- they waited 48 hours before calling in the FBI

Kidnapping for Ransom is the LEAST LIKELY answer to this. So many murders have been disguised as walk away disappearances or kidnapping over the years that its become almost 100% certain they are never genuine.

It's unfathomable that investigators just TODAY removed the Nest mounting bracket after knowing the perpetrator had touched it. Who knows how many random people have messed with it over the last 12 days.

I think if nobody came forward at 50k with the crucial piece of information then body will at 100k either unfortunately.

I think they’ll have to go much higher than that - they know Nancys daughters wealth.

Would roofers tend to use a small mouth flashlight? Or anyone associated with a roofing project? Or people installing outdoor roof cameras?
No ,it is for looking into dark recesses but one thing is for sure ,he was comfortable using a bite light

I’ve thought all along this was about someone’s hatred for SG. The one thing they could do to tear her heart out. Don’t believe body will ever be found, hope I’m wrong. Whatever the reason,it’s torture beyond words. Please someone prove me wrong🙏🙏🙏
I thought this but then a friend said kidnapping a child would have made more sense. IDK anything any more.

If NG was removed in a body bag, can you explain the presence of the blood on the doorstep?
I was just reading a book this week about the manhunt for John Wilkes Booth after he killed Lincoln. After he died, they wrapped him sloppily in a tarp, put him in a wagon and hauled him to a boat. His blood dripped out of the tarp the whole way to the boat. Since she took blood thinners, it would not take a major injury to result in pretty significant blood loss. Some drops could have come out even if the body was wrapped up.
