Could be because AG and SIL had the means, motive and opportunity to carry out a crime that night? No one can clear them if they werent able to provide anything that would clear them.

Kidnapping for Ransom is the LEAST LIKELY answer to this. So many murders have been disguised as walk away disappearances or kidnapping over the years that its become almost 100% certain they are never genuine.

What is your reasoning behind saying the perp on the Ring camera murdered her and took away her body? Motive?

The person who broke in and took nancy and the person who wrote the ransom notes seem to be bold, a risk taker and enjoy media attention. Would this type of criminal be the type who insert themselves in the investigation?

But what kind of male suspect are they looking for?

Are they looking for a white male? A black male? A hispanic male? A middle eastern male? A oriental male?

What kind of a male suspect does the public needs to be on the lookout for?

How can you tell ethnicity or race when there is no visible skin? They got a height estimate and a sense of build. It's reasonable.

Yeah, sorry, I should have been more precise about the point I was trying to make.

Earlier, in response to @MassGuy, I said it was unlikely that there is any video from the doorbell camera after the 1:47 AM "disconnect" event on the timeline. I was assuming that the disconnect correlated with the doorbell camera being removed from the mount and disabled or taken out of range, and that after that, it was gone for good. If the newly-revealed timestamps on these images are correct, then I was obviously wrong about that. The doorbell was apparently still on the wall well after 1:47, and was able to upload video during that time.

Is there any chance the time stamps are wrong? I recall one case where a time stamp on a video was off one hour because it was initially set up for a different Time Zone than it should have been. That may not be possible in this case - but this case isn't following any of the usual rules.

I found Brian's interview of the retired officers very interesting, but I was surprised the one gentleman said firmly that he believes Nancy is alive. If so, that should mean that the ransom notes are real. If people have been sending real ransom notes and being blown off, I would expect them to be angry, frustrated and very anxious to get her off their hands. I would think that's very dangerous for Nancy.

I've watched several interviews with 2 ex Pima County LE, latest being retired after 40+ years and worked directly under Sheriff Nanos (2IC). He was scathing of the way things are run, EGO issues, mass exodus of experienced staff. Has witnessed obstruction of FBI assistance in a previous case.

It is little wonder Day 1, 2, 3 work is seen being done Day 12.

I am regularly surprised by how people carry a weapon. Tucked in their waistband, in their pocket, etc. In my area, a teen was carrying a gun in his pocket and shot himself in the leg. So little common sense - or gun sense - in this world.

SG and sibs are likely following the recommendations of LE and perhaps they were advised against providing ransom money. IMO

A white tent erected by federal agents at the home of Nancy Guthrie on Thursday was part of a testing procedure to create nighttime conditions similar to the time of day the 84-year-old went missing, a law enforcement source familiar told CNN.

Once FBI specialists set up the tent to create a blackout environment, replica clothing and a backpack similar to what the suspect was believed to be wearing were examined through the lens of what a doorbell camera might see at night, the source said.

The source said examiners looked at the reflections of lighting against the items to ensure they were confident in their brand names.

Also on Thursday, FBI examiners used specialized equipment to analyze the front of the home where the suspect was seen on video in order to determine his height, resulting in the FBI assessing him to be 5’9” to 5’10” tall.
