I dont think it ever was a kidnapping, I think it was a staged kidnapping to hide a murder.
Can you say more about (1) whom you believe had (2) what to gain from her murder?

Thank you.

Would roofers tend to use a small mouth flashlight? Or anyone associated with a roofing project? Or people installing outdoor roof cameras?
No.

They are thinking rational...that the ransom letters are likely a scam... MOO.

Lots of people feel this is to get back at Samantha. What about getting back at someone else in the family?

Has anyone considered who may have benefitted from SG not covering the Olympics. She was scheduled to leave for Italy on February 2.
That was one of my first thoughts when the kidnapping happened. A rival or someone close to her who didn't think she should be the one to go to the games. Now though, it seems too far fetched.

A lot being said about the possible 'bite light' in lantana mans mouth and so I wanted to post up a run down of the most likely people to have such a light handy.

Common user profiles include:
Pilots (especially general aviation and night flyers) — They use models like the Flight Gear Bite Light with white light for pre/post-flight checks and red light to preserve night vision in the cockpit.

Theater technicians, lighting crew, stagehands, and wardrobe personnel — In tech theater and backstage work, bite lights (often called "bitelites") are popular for climbing ladders, focusing lights, quick changes in dark wings, or when carrying gear.
Mechanics, auto technicians, or anyone working under vehicles/dashboards — Hands are occupied with tools, so mouth-held light helps see tight spaces.

Performers or quick-change artists (sometimes in drag, costume, or low-light creative work) — Soft, teeth-friendly versions exist for hands-free illumination during fast changes or detailed work.

Jewellers and Crafting Hobbyists — Anyone who works regularly with crafts that require both hands to be free during intricate work.

DIYers, electricians, plumbers, or home repair folks — Anyone who's ever held a regular flashlight in their mouth under a sink or in an attic ends up appreciating a purpose-built bite version.

Outdoor/night workers — Like some night fishing setups (though "bite light" there more often means bite indicators/alarms), or cavers/explorers who prefer mouth-held options over headlamps in tight spots.

sorry to you american folks but the FBI are coming across as idiots here!

putting up a tent to recreate nightime conditions??.....i aint Einstein but if they just waited a few hours mother nature would have created "nightime conditions" for them!!

not for the first time i am left wondering just what kind of clowns are being employed to run this investigation?
Sure, let’s just wait a few hours instead of doing a very simple thing immediately. Someone on the internet might think we’re dumb for not wasting time…

So you are basically hinting at AG and the SIL here. Don’t you think they could have found a dozen easier ways to take care of the situation than hire a third party to fake a scene?
Who said hire anyone? The dimensions of lantana man are a good fit for SIL or DE

In 13 months, her home was only searched for on 1 day - Jan 18th - and it was searched 29 times. Seems quite significant for LE and this case. MOO

I got this and I got the same for 2025. Maybe I'm not doing right. I also searched her name. There is also someone with her name in AZ who is somewhat well-known. I found searches for the other NG in AZ.

Why do you think the ransom notes are not real? Kidnapping for ransom is the most likely answer. And they covered up fully because it was only an abduction, not a murder. So they wouldn’t want her to recognize them and report them after she was released.
Didn't say the ransom notes aren't real? Just said they nabbed her alive perhaps because she knows/recognized one of them.

For now, going with extortion attempt turned kidnapping or SA attempt turned kidnapping. Guy at the door was #2 man, not the main man. MOO
