I keep thinking about the 2 minute opening and closing of Nancy's garage door when family supposedly dropped her off that night. Two minutes is a very short time for her to get into the garage. And then to go in inner door into her house. Was that door unlocked? How could the family know whether she got into the actual house in that two minutes time frame? JMO
Sorry about these thoughts compiled during travel.
It was reported that the SIL said he watched her walk in to house. I do think she could navigate that in less than 2 minutes- the garage is basically 20/22 feet long. Without anything to go on- no word on break-in, I wonder if the perp slid in to garage from behind that bush to the immediate left when it was opened? Typically a garage is opened before arriving directly in front of it.
I just did a little walking, baby steps slowly from 10 feet in front of garage- it took 26 seconds to reach the entry to house door in the back, like Nancy’s set-up.. Unless the SIL did the backing-up maneuver to leave her in front and then drive off, he may have been doing that positioning as she walked in and did not see the perp follow her in. There is also a right side back of garage door out to what I assume is the covered patio. Possible ingress point. Maybe he caught Nancy as she opened the door to the house or maybe she didn’t immediately lock the door and he followed her in. That would imply perp/s were in the house several hours before somehow absconding. I’m of the opinion that Nancy struggled and put up a fight. She seems so independent despite her disability and a survivor by nature.
The mind twisting, parsed nature of all the communications, from all parties, is frightening in itself.
The supposed timeline shows the garage door opened ar 9:48 and closed at 10.00, correct? The only way I know that it could be reported with such precision is by way of a security system that logs when doors and garage are opened and closed. Maybe some windows.
And it would make sense for her ro have a security system. It would also explain why she didn’t have a Nest subscription to record videos, which would be redundant. It would explain the “camera” being “disconnected” at 1:47 but then showing what was initially described as “movement” at 2:12, when it later turned out the mask guy was there. The security system was turned off or disabled, it seems to me at 1:47 but the camera/s were still operational so it was someone’s job to go break it.
The Sheriff said at one point early on. to paraphrase. that Nancy was asleep or in her bed when she was abducted and that it was a disturbing scene.
There is a little card to the right of the front door that may be the standard “home security” warning notice, maybe.
Savannah’s husband is an immensely wealthy political and finance power player who has long run an international “crisis communication and management” firm. Go figure the bizarre, strange semantics and linguistic structure of their messaging.
How can a Sheriff be summarily dismissed and replaced with “ our own people”, according to the latest news flash. What does that even mean?
I feel sorry for the Sheriff, IMO caught up in some inexplicable creepy dynamics.
Why in the world is TMZ Harvey to go to guy, my gosh.
IMO MOO all as I watch this tragic Machiavellian drama scheme from afar. Truly sad and sorry that Nancy has so unjustly and brutally been used for nefarious purposes.
The sheriff's department, with the aide of federal agents, have been hunting Tucson, Arizona, for nearly two weeks now after Nancy Guthrie, 84, vanished from her home in the foothills of the city.
