BBM. This is what’s bothering me. Obviously the media circus around this means that any police movement is heavily publicized.

Unless they have enough for an arrest (DNA match, etc), I’m not understanding why they’re not picking these POIs in a more stealthy way. Why send our SWAT, etc every time?

I’m sure there’s a reason and I’m just unfamiliar with the intricacies of police work. Just seems like a strange, costly way to follow leads that only have search warrants and not arrest warrants.

You potentially have a violent abduction and hostage situation. You don’t do a stealthy knock and talk for that.

I think the differnce here is .. they don't have a NG's body. They really don't know if she could still be alive. IF there is a chance she could still be alive, that response might be reasonable, no?

I would think there would be more vetting of the tip. Again, feel sorry for anyone who even remotely resembles this perp.

Ir's cold already as far as continuing to broadcast this 24/7. Let them do all the ancillary raids etc they want. When they have an arrest, then it's hot. Window of opportunity missed long ago, IMO. Ransom should have been paid and focus is on wrong assumptions from the beginning, IMO. Too many people latched on to AB's unnamed source of info in LE. This is a man who has been mentally stalking SG for awhile and is obsessively in love with her. He wants to be acknowledged by SG. The mom was his insurance policy. Maybe went there also to get a genuine SG souvenir from the mom's home ( a photo, a piece of lingerie) that belongs to SG., something along those lines. . He is trying to grab SG's attention. He is delusional. He is also clever. He has them all looking for a robber, has evaded LE, and he could be so out of touch that he might keep a dead body concealed in a ravine near by, as a memento. JMO.

Im very invested in this case but I told myself last night before I went to bed that if this was another failed bust up I had to walk away and I’m going to be doing that. I didn’t post anything last night but I still feel gross feeding from the media trough over of all of this. I really believed the raid last night was the end and the family would finally have some answers. Poor Nancy. Her children and family must be devastated, losing their minds with all these twists and turns. What a gut punch! I feel so bad for them. Unfortunately today marks 2 weeks. Life Goes on. I hope I’m wrong but I can’t see LEO/FBI maintaining this large of a presence much longer. There has been so much money, time, and resources, and man power on this case that it is supremely disappointing to know that no arrests were made last night. Prayers for Nancy and family. MOO

It was crazy last night and I got very little sleep LOL In a world where everyone can livestream and all that media there with all their 'inside sources', we just go to see more than we normally do!

I disagree. It shows they're taking every lead seriously and working around the clock to find Nancy. This isn't a TV show where everything gets wrapped up in a neat little bow. They're damned if they do, damned if they don't — meanwhile we're all sitting in our warm homes picking apart their every move. Just my opinion.
