Savannah Guthrie’s husband was spotted in public for the first time since his mother-in-law was allegedly abducted two weeks earlier. A somber-looking Michael Feldman was seen strolling through a Florida airport Friday with the two young children he shares with the “Today” host in tow.

Feldman, 57, kept his sunglasses on as he was escorted through the unnamed airfield by security. He was dressed down in a zip-up sweater, jeans and sneakers, and maintained a grim expression.

Feldman and the kids — Vale, 11, and Charley, 9 - piled several pieces of luggage into a black SUV. Savannah Guthrie was not with the family.

It’s not clear why Feldman and the kids were in the Sunshine State or where they were arriving from. The sighting marks the first time Feldman was publicly spotted since his mother-in-law, Nancy Guthrie, vanished from her Tucson home in the early morning hours of Feb. 1.

He has largely flown under the radar amid the disturbing kidnapping case — only breaking his silence Tuesday in an emotional plea to the public in finding the armed and masked man who was captured lurking outside Nancy’s home.

Following his wife’s lead, Feldman posted the disturbing surveillance footage made public by the FBI to his Instagram. “Someone out there may recognize this person,” the communications consultant wrote in his caption. “Please help us. Bring her home,” he added.

Can anyone elaborate on what they think the federal warrant would have been? Meaning, would it have to have been the ransom only?

Updates on the case from AZ local news source.

Also see the excellent timeline of events they’ve laid out.

There seems to be a typo in this link. Corrected version (that works for me, at least):

Four people? I thought it was two men and one of their mums?

That's the headline. In the body of the article is says 3. Modern journalism and all. I don't make the sources :)

Nonetheless they were all released. The other article linked has a seasoned defense attorney stating how strange this tactic is.

There is a rumor of a map on a dartboard in Ramos's office that says "detain and see if it sticks" above it.

Did anybody else hear anything about a Range Rover being towed away? What did that have to do with Nancy?

I don't see a positive prognosis from this latest raid since they released them so quickly. "Past behavior predicts future behavior" and all of that.

The scrutiny is so high for a federal warrant to be issued that now I think someone with a Snowden or Kim DotCom level of technical prowess is just messing with them. I can certainly see a federal judge issuing a search warrant if an IP or cell phone is clearly shown to be linked to either of the locations of the two SWAT raids we've seen thus far, but each of those raids resulting in a catch and release within a few hours indicates a strong possibility of spoofing/swatting to me.

Hello and welcome to WS. I haven’t seen anything that says NG was found yet. 😢
Thanks hon, I was all up night watching the news praying to God she would be found. I hold out hope and know God is on Nancy's side.

I was wondering about the same thing. It's not adding up at all.

They cannot ask the FBI to take the lead. The FBI only takes the lead in federal crimes such as terrorism, bank robbery, kidnapping across state lines., civil rights, counter intelligence.. FEDERAL CRIMES. Local law enforcement is the lead for most cases as that is how the pecking order it is designed. FBI assists in local crime when asked and it is appropriate.
Your first sentence says they cannot ask the FBI to take the lead.
Your last sentence says FBI assists when asked.

The FBI came to town. And sheriff never asked. Yes FBI can take over. The sheriff only needs to ask their assistance. He should do so. Now.

Actually, as bodily fluids may release, it can be exactly instantaneous
I'm talking about the smell of decomp, which takes 24-48 hours. If I wake up to a burglar in my house and kill him, his body doesn't produce the smell of decomp the instant it hits the floor. Decomposition does begin immediately, but they decompose from the inside out.

I don't know. The band around the middle of the holster looks thinner in the nest cam footage and I am not seeing a protruding area where the snap should be. Same overall shape though.
There are similar holsters with slight differences from other companies. Probably find a bunch on ebay and Temu, AliEx etc.
