I can attest to that! The Apple watch which NG had, has fall protection. It works well and is reliable. JMO

I think that's the same everywhere.Sher
Pool guys in Tucson don't go in the house. Usually they enter through the back or side yard in the back. MO
The blood on the front walk looks consistent with someone carrying her over their shoulder while she had a potential nose bleed. The type of hold where your arm would hold behind their knees and they’re fully over your shoulder. Why there is more blood drops in one area, by the front door, could be because he waited there for a minute while someone brought the car into the driveway. Just an idea.every time I hear about her not making it home or on the way in, etc. have the same question: why is there blood on the front walk?
Forced entry could still have been through the front door. We have only seen the black security screen door, not the actual front door. Regarding the black security door, most people I know use these doors as screen doors and only lock them when the main door is open. (Not many people want to deal with unlocking/locking 2 doors each time they enter/exit). However, the back doors under the patio cover in the courtyard could have been damaged as well. We just don't know."The subscription wasn't on the external cams. Why wasn't that paid, probably a lapse or oversight." In the article about NG and her friends, one mentioned (and it was posted on her FB page) that she asked about cameras because she wanted to watch the wildlife. I understand that, I have a 92 year that lives two doors away, a 90 year old one street over and two 80+ year olds around the corner. They were interested in the 'dings' on my phone, and said they'd like one too BUT only for wildlife
I would be interested in what the interior looked like as well. Initially Nanos claimed there was a forced entry (later walked that back) we know from pictures it wasn't the front door. Assumption: it was the back door around the corner from the garage.
What do you think might be found inside? Where do you think this unknown DNA was found. I have a thought and if so ... he really messed up.
NG's pacemaker spiked at 2am on Sunday morning, per the news source.Once a day data dump is different than a triggering alert. If your heart rate triggers an alert it won't wait till the 2AM regular data dump to notify the doctor.
Someone who can "barely walk" isn't using Uber regularly, as NG did.The article states that .. not me lol. She never collected her own mail either, she had to have help. It points out that her mobility was indeed quite limited. I have had 5 femur surgeries and I can still walked to the mailbox. I just wonder exactly what limited her mobility to the point she could barely walk. Osteoporosis I have but it's treated with infusions, back issues I know are mobility limiting issues.
Has anyone read an articles that stated exactly what her mobility issues were from? age related, a fall, surgeries, etc.
I have not found one yet
NG is the mother of a known tv news host. Why begrudge NG's missing because of the fact that millions of others are also missing. In my opinion, if it brings awareness to how quickly all of us can face an abduction or murder. And if it helps LE to develop better methods to catch an abduction earlier and bring them home in days rather than weeks, it's worth the coverage. I don't see a 3-ring circus, outside of social media. JMO
Staged by someone close to her to throw LE off track?Crime scene staging is done by a perpetrator to cover up the original crime. The goal is to avoid arrest, to get control of the investigation, and confuse and distract LE and the public. It is basically a hoax to cover up a crime.
I am not sure what the FBI agent had in mind, but for example, this could have been a robbery gone wrong, resulting in the death of the homeowner. The robbers decide to cover their tracks and pretend a kidnapping had taken place. This serves to scatter the police looking for the homeowner and kidnappers. LE typically then does not do a great job securing the crime scene, or examining the home for evidence. They use their resources out in the community searching for a victim who may still be alive. They are thinking kidnapping, not death during a robbery.
The ransom notes could just be part of the staging, or an attempt to make a big pay day off the death.
Same situation if someone killed NG in or outside the home. Stage it like a kidnapping.
Oh wow, I hadn’t thought of that. There must be so many nooks and crannies in the landscape in Tucson. And in the heat, we might be getting to the point that recovering forensic DNA evidence or even a cause of death from a body can be difficult. Morbid and sad.I'm not familiar with the area, but there have been posters that say there are many abandoned mines in the area close by. Maybe they just took her there instead of buried. JMO
It’s a video of the ABC Evening news basically recapping last night’s events.I can't see this unless I log in, but I don't have an account. What does it say, please?
And to report it.One of the rules here is not to belittle other posters, and to be civil with each other. TY.
Yes if you have mobility issues this is how you would do it. You avoid the walkway and stairs up to the front of the house. And you don't have to fumble with door keys etc. There is said to be two doors at the front of the house. The regular door and a metal door. That would be a lot to handle with a cane, purse, etc. in the dark.Sounds like she had an App to control the garage door, likely gave family access to it as well. The App is how they knew the garage door timing imo. Usually, you would open the door with the App (some have sensors for cars and it auto opens for the vehicle) and you would close the door with the wall button near the interior entry door. Easy, quick. Avoids the 3 steps and curved path at the front entrance in the dark.
Pass maker signal to device is short range. Maybe 30 feet max if there are no obstructions.Reminds me of a suggestion I saw elsewhere…to put Nancy’s phone in a drone and fly it around Tucson to see if it would connect with her pacemaker since it acts as a “homing beacon”.
Thanks. Speculation, but I thought I had read that her internet had been disconnected which would serve the same function. Thanks for helping me understand how the pacemakers work.Ours uses wifi. I think the doctor has to setup the alerts. It's possible the kidnapper knew about the pacemaker device and unplugged it before awaking Nancy so her racing heart wouldn't send an alert.
Yes…I should have included in my post what an impractical idea that was, to say the leastPass maker signal to device is short range. Maybe 30 feet max if there are no obstructions.
Because maybe the FBI hired the pool company, or asked the family to do so, in order for the pool filters to be cleaned and inspected. Possibly they collected the contents of the pool filter(s) so that LE could evaluate the material foresically.Well ok, however how is that [pool cleaning by new company] relevant to the case?
Actually, Uber is a common mode of transport for those with limited mobility.Someone who can "barely walk" isn't using Uber regularly. That requires someone be able to walk to the vehicle, get in and out of vehicles of varying heights and walk to their destination. The destination may be close, but she's still managing with just a cane.
I don't think it much matters whether or not she regularly got her own mail. She had household help during the day. I'm sure they could do that for her if she asked them to.
The strange things are why do you remove and 84 yr old woman from her home and what do you do with her? Somewhere I read - among all the comments everywhere - that a former FBI experienced agent said the abduction appeared to be staged. Staged well after she was abducted? Staged by who? Why staged? Just an interesting perspective. Not much else to consider right now.
