I posted this last night. LE should potentially be able tie the glove to the Guthrie residence through plant DNA. The glove in question , if used by the perp, should be loaded with lantana plant DNA .

This is why I love Websleuths ❤️

I just hope all of this information doesn't increase the flight risk.
This is a state crime. How would the DOJ request max penalty.

Has anyone posted in this thread about similarities between SG's latest video and quotes from the film Tomorrowland?
Spoken by George Clooney.

“You are not lost.”
“You are not alone.”
“It’s never too late.”
“We are here.”
“We believe in the essential goodness of every human being.”

Re: Latest Harvey Levin communication. I doubt a Latino who is intimately related to Mexico or central America, or someone who is intimately in contact with a criminal cartel/gang located there, is going to refer to it as "South of the Border". Probably just a lunatic opportunist.

Definitely very strange the reference to movies. Has to be for a very specific reason

The problem with the Wal-Mart video is you have to have narrowed it down to a time frame OR an electronic receipt in the system where all of this was bought on one ticket.

THEN you can go find the video that corresponds
You can also search by the sku, which would give dates of sales.

Wow! I've never seen Tomorrowland, but that is interesting. Especially since in SG's first video, she ended with a quote from The Silence of the Lambs.

IMO, the front door was made ready for a speedy escape. It’s the only exit that has the fastest direct route to the road. IMO entrance was not made by the front door (either NG opening it or otherwise).
And also with that theory there are other holes in it like motion cameras not picking up any of NGs movements in the house when she left her BR to open the front door.

I was gobsmacked (love that word) to learn that the investigators detained three people and towed a RR about 2 miles from NG's home. I thought the perp(s) would have gone to Mexico straight away. MOO
Maybe they had family in Tucson, calculated risk to stay, thought they may have covered their tracks. JMO

I thought abduction for ransom was a federal crime, but maybe not. 🤔

It's possible publicity not money is the real motive.

Exactly what I think. They only used the front door as a speedy escape and they needed the nest cam totally disabled so the perps wouldn't be seen, NG's condition wouldn't be known and their vehicle wouldn't be seen. JMO
And so the vehicle more importantly couldn't be seen.

Something I've been think about randomly. There's no reports of drag marks away from either door, the floor possibly looks gritty enough for there to be something? If she was carried that means the person would need to be fairly strong, or possibly two perps. Just a thought

Right, but he sauntered up to the front door and seemed surprised by the doorbell cam.

Had there been an accomplice waiting inside to open the door and security door I feel the approach would be different. Why take the gun out and display it in an awkward way that prohibits movement at that point (remember he was lingering off frame outside of the vestibule without the backpack on and the gun still concealed before going to the front door). Was the door discovered open? Why even close it in that case (it may have even remained lock as far as we know).

I agree the front door would be the most direct exit point and likely the way to remove a person from the house, and that an accomplice could have already been inside to exit through the front door. But the actions/mannerisms of the Nest cam masked man just don't seem consistent w/ this to me.. YMMV.

I would also be curios if that front door remained locked. I use a keyed double cylinder deadbolt on steel security doors like that. I wonder what the investigation determined there and how it was left. The latest drone video showed the rear patio with no signs of forced entry, and investigators have yet to confirm if there was any forced entry involved.

Hot prowl, in my opinion, is when residents are home, the burglar may be willing to take on the resident, commit violence. They usually carry a knife or gun to harm resident. They don’t want to wake anyone up, just stealing, but will take on if confronted. JMO

No idea if that applies here, we still don’t know the motive.

All JMO
My husband, daughter, and I lived in Tucson during the time of the "Primetime rapist". It was utterly terrifying. I didn't feel safe even though we owned guns. He definitely did some Hot Prowling to determine which homes to hit. He came armed and ready, and he was dangerous! PrimeTime Rapist

I totally believe the ransom note writer has ask them to communicate in movie quotes. There is no other way to explain these bizarre movie quotes

At least - if that truly is a walkie talkie antenna in lantana man pics and video I think right coat pocket.

Maybe they don't have the resources to flee. When you think about it, it's not that easy to pick up and run unless you have a lot to cover gas, airline, food, hotels, etc. Just being in a car for instance would lead to the likelihood of being caught.
