I don't know if any of you are familiar with the Adelson case but I've been thinking they have been possibly tickling the wire to see where it leads. I would say it looks like it leads somewhere. The guys detained Friday are definitely being monitored.

I’m not following, tell me how the Adelson case ties to this?

And just fyi, there are loaded threads on the Adelson’s. Take a peek when you have a chance.

for them to say this is a low crime area there seems to be a lot of people on porchs at night ...
None of these other crimes posted from the Ring app were “in the area” at all. They were miles away in a way worse, more dense part of Tucson. Where Nancy lives is a very nice, affluent neighborhood with very low crime. this is all completely my own opinion and experience from living all over the city of Tucson.

My family member is a locksmith - recently he had to sort out the locks on behalf of the police for a victim of crime. The reason the elderly couple had a home invasion is because their carer (woman) provided information to the criminals. 💔
Is no-one safe anymore in their own home?

They’re getting hot
Interesting. How did they come up with a list of the 40 thieves?
Being smart azzy, I was going to suggest they should be checking with W-mart. I checked online and they do selll rifles and shotguns, but no handguns.

Amateur opinion and speculation
AZ is a constitutional carry state (permit-less carry) with private FTF sales being perfectly legal.

You can buy a handgun from an private person and do not need a background check or any paperwork or even need to know their name.

Both the buyer and the seller must be AZ residents. The seller must not have reason to believe the buyer is a prohibited person. Many states are like this with FTF private sales.

So you don't need to go to gun store and fill out a 4473 to buy a handgun in AZ (or many other states for that matter).

Yeah, id hate to see a high crime area on camera if this is low crime. What the heck?
[I keep thinking to myself "What are the odds of that many people in sweaters and backpacks at 2am in back yards".... Hell, it seems like this is a group of employees with uniforms being sent out to do stuff at 2am.... I cannot wrap my head around it. Note to self: Not interested in living anywhere near this neighborhood ]

IMO, just agreeing with you

If she had a fender bender, AG would have worked with NG to get it fixed as soon as possible, I would think. Guessing that if she had a fender bender, it was recent. JMO
Right. Her Subaru was brand new, a 2025/2026, so even more reason to want to have it repaired right away.

Could Nancy’s blood have been from a stress nosebleed, rather than a deliberate injury?
I know children can bleed profusely due to spontaneous nosebleeds, but haven’t actually heard of elderly people suffering from similar.

LE are always telling people to lock their car doors and stop making it so easy for criminals, and it was interesting to see the guy see if the car was locked.

This is thought to be a low crime area. Maybe it doesn't have a lot of crime reported because the criminals aren't getting caught stealing cars or mail.

What they are doing while being monitored is far less interesting than what they have been doing since Jan 31.

Amateur opinion and speculation
True, and the idea is that after they are detained and released they will start contacting any coconspirators (if there are any) or perhaps reveal a location that will enable me to answer that bigger question.

We have heard on this thread that she is on blood thinners. If you get a nick or cut when you're on blood thinners, you can bleed quite a bit. JMO

Sounds like a big Cartel-backed kidnapping ring casing houses in a rich American neighborhood.

Were there motion lights outside her garage? Who actually dropped her off? Did they help her inside? Did she leave a porch light on? Did the driver just sit in the car with headlights on to guide her and then drive off?? Has this already been discovered?

There are plenty of 'would be" criminals. And plenty of trespassers, that's for sure. Really creepy.

That's my thought. They will likely make another mistake. But, either way, there is likely enough DNA evidence to arrest them, if the DNA connected with these guys at the crime scene. JMO

Older women may not be used to women being hard core criminals?

Very creepy. And perhaps more normal than we think in a rich American neighborhood. JMO

In the Adelson case, LE employed the "tickling the wire" technique when the guy approached DA on the street and passed off the note about his family member needing more payment for the murder (my words) and DA went home and called CA who called KM who called SG etc. It put all the conspirators together in order of how things were carried out. I think they are tickling the wire here.

BBM. Not so sure that's the case with SG and her Mom NG. I think it's all about SG.

Amateur opinion and speculation
If it is about SG, then the kidnappers may take better care of NG?
